Late morning

Those behind the scenes!

Ever heard of something called ''silent chaos''? No? Then, those two words would make the best explanation for the current situation in the house in Hannam-dong.

The normally cheerful and positive Min Hee was - with a very foul expression - aggressively brushing her teeth in the bathroom as she at the same time tried to apply foundation on her face with the other hand. And well, it wasn't exactly easy, thus making her after awhile spit out the toothbrush and let out a high screech of frustration. Anyone as much as herself knew that she wasn't the most pleasant person in the morning and it didn't make it better that she now also was running late. With her mind going wild with nothing but nonsense thoughts about how irritating this world could be she stared at the huge bathroom mirror, somehow trying to calm herself. But it wasn't easy as it meant staring at her own reflection, which probably wasn't that pretty. Bad bed hair, a face with badly applied foundation, sleep-swollen eyes and the mouth covered with foamed toothpaste made her - in her opinion - look like a wreck. But somehow, staring at herself for a moment, did help. She was ofcourse still irritated but the much ''Hana-like-irritation'' had vanished.

When spitting out the foam in the sink she noticed that it had turned red, coloured by blood. Min Hee sighed and washed away the blood-red foam. It was obvious that her aggressive brushing had taken it's toll on her gums. With that unpleasantly familiar steel-like taste in she washed her face again and reapplied her foundation, this time properly. She felt herself calmed and ''in control'' again, but still grumpy. She couldn't help but think that this day maybe wasn't going to become the best one, considering the start.

Downstairs, Sora wasn't much better off. She was down in the livingroom with a phone to her ear and with a sour expression on her face. She wasn't saying anything only intently listening to whoever was on the other line. With her lips pressed tightly against each other almost turning white she looked as if she was trying hard to not let any words escape . She knew, that if she opened it wouldn't lead to anything good.

Eventually she had to speak, her voice low and restrained.

"Yes, I understand. ... No, It won't happen again. ... I apologize, I'll be there soon. ... Yes, goodbye."

She stood with the phone to her ear for awhile even after the call had ended, only listening to the beeps. Her expression was empty and it looked as if she was staring at something in the air that only she could see.

Completely still.

In the blink of a second, her hand had raised in the air and the next thing she knew was the phone scattered all over the floor in bits and pieces. She snorted when she realised that the phone hadn't been her own, but Dianas wire-free stationary one.

"I really must be going crazy..." She mumbled, heading to the door. She was fully aware of the mess she had left behind her, but in this state of mind she really didn't care. Neither did she bid the other girls goodbye before she opened the door and left. ''Just so ridiculous so I end up laughing at it...''' was the one sentence swirling in her head when she headed down the street in search for a taxi. A sentence that would stay there in her head til she had gotten it down on paper.

Hana had just come down the stairs – running - when she saw the door close after Sora, this which caused one of ther eyebrows to pop up.
She reached the conclusion that it wasn't just her that was pissed this morning. Sora would normally never act that way.

'Good going Diana!' She thought as she ran into the livingroom to get her bag, but was met with the mess Sora had left behind. Hana's eyes widened when she realised that the person who probably had caused the phones ''death'' was Sora.

She couldn't help but laugh.

"You'd be SO DEAD if you meet Sora right now, Diana!" She pressed through her laughs. With a smug grin on her face she ran to the lobby and started putting on her outer wear. No, Hana did definitely not feel bad for Diana at all, out of all the girls she was probably the one most pissed off. Though her ''outer'' rage already had worn off, since the person she would like to direct it on, wasn't there.

Previously, Hana had been the one who had woken up first, seen the time and thereafter screamed in panic resulting in her waking up the other girls, which led to them also seeing the time and starting to rush. Getting ready she had been constantly muttering several curses directed to Diana, with words included that shouldn't be mentioned here. Diana had the previous night promised the girls to wake them up before she left for work, since she was the one who had thought of leaving the earliest. But, she obviously hadn't since Hana had woken up about an hour after the promised wakeup time. Hana – as well as the others – had also cursed themselves for trusting Diana.

In fact - compared to the other girls - Hana wasn't late for work at all but the thing bugging her was that her daily routine had been spoiled, a harsh blow for Hana. This since her life depend much on planning and further that everything also went accordingly to her plans.Leaving the house Hana also headed down the same street Sora had gone down just a few minutes ago.

Any girl would know that running with high-heels isn't easy and especially when it's down-hill. Still, Hana with her 10 cm high-heels on did it effortlessly, earning several glances from people seeing her run past them. Reaching the bigger street she immediately spotted a taxi and waved to it making it pull up beside her. Seconds later she was on her way to the hair studio.

"What the...!?" Min Hee gaped at the scene she was met with in the living room. She had actually been on her way out but had seen the scene in the corner of her eye and stopped to take a look. She sighed as she went into the kitchen to see if she could find any kind of broom. She saw sure that this was Hana's way of paying back Diana for her ''thoughtfullness''.

After brushing everything up in a nice pile, collecting it and throwing it away, she left the house. Min Hee was forever grateful for the fact that SM headquarters wasn't situated far from Dianas house. Getting to Apgujeong-dong from Hannam-dong by taxi took 30 minutes, which was fast considering the time of the day, which was half past eight. At exactly nine o'clock she arrived at SM headquarters. She rushed into the building after pushing in the door code, earning several envious glances from random fans waiting outside, hoping to see any of their idols. Smiling, she greeted several persons she passed by while walking through the corridors. In the elevator she was joined by one of Super Juniors managers.

"Oh, Min Hee-sshi. Good morning!" He bowed slightly and pushed the button for fifth floor.

"Yes, Good morning Seung Hwan-sshi." She politely bowed back and took note of which button he had pushed.

"Super Junior are also rehearsing?"

"Yes, actually..." He looked apogetically at Min Hee. "We recently got some problems with the choreography so today we got an extra hour to use the main studio. Seeing that you're here must mean that they've forgotten to contact you about it."

"Oh... I see... Yes, they must've forgotten." Min Hee smiled and shrugged. "Oh well, it doesn't matter." She chuckled and looked at Seung Hwan. "So don't look at me like that, it's not even your fault!" With a mischievous smile she added, "Also, be careful to use that expression! It will give you wrinkles and make you look like an ahjussi in no time. Very~ unattractive for the women!"

He looked at her with big eyes and then burst into a laugh. "Yes thank you, I will remember your advice!" They kept small talking til they reached the main dance studio but turned silent when they entered it, so to not disturb. Super Junior were resting when they entered the studio and their title track was softly playing through the speakers. Most of the guys were too tired to take note of Min Hee and their manager arriving but some heads perked up and noticed the new stranger.

Their choreographer who previously had been doing something on his phone also took notice of Min Hee, resulting in his eyes widening when he recognized her.

"No , Min Hee!"

Min Hee's eyes also widened when she noticed the man. ”Mike?”

The man – Mike – got a smile on his face as he swept in Min Hee in a tight hug. Min Hee stiffened for a second but then hugged him back and patted him softly on his back. Pulling back he flashed Min Hee an even bigger smile.

”Yaa~~, really, long time no see friend!”

Min Hee laughed and punched him playfully on his arm. ”And whose fault is that? It was you who suddenly disappeared to the states and made a career!”

He chuckled and punched her back. ”Come on, no hard feelings Minnie.”

”Hyung... your friend?” Siwon had appeared behind Mike and streched out a hand towards Min Hee as he asked. She took it and shook it lightly.

”My favourite dongsaeng! We danced in the same dance school when we were small.”

”Im Choi Min Hee, nice to meet you Siwon-ssi.” She said before releasing her grasp.

”Ah.. ye... The same.” Siwon smiled and bowed slightly.

”She's a beauty~.” Shindongs voice startled her as he had appeared close to her right side. He stretched out his had to Min Hee as well.

”Im Shindong, though I believe you already know who I am~.” He grinned.

Min Hee took his hand and shook it and answered with a smile. ”Yes, you're right. Nice to meet you Shindong-ssi.” Soon, all the present Super Junior members had gone up and greeted her.

Mike won back Min Hee's attention as he spoke up again. ”Min Hee, how come you're here?”

”Well, Im choreographing for f(x) so... It's weird we haven't bumped into each other earlier!”

”Ah, I see.” He nodded understandingly and then grinned. ”Sorry for stealing you dancing time btw dongsaeng.”

Min Hee ''hmpffd'' and put her chin up in the air with a haughty look. ”Well, it's not like I need extra time because I have problems with the choreography..!” Min Hee couldnt help but smile at the end.

”Oh~~, someone's got self confident over the past years!” Mike gave her a suspiscious look before he suddenly loudly clapped his hands. ”Rest over, back to work!”

The Super Junior members all stopped doing what they had done and gathered on the floor, waiting for the music to start. Min Hee sat down by Seung Hwan and watched the rest of the practice. At first she was totally engrossed in the choreography and how Mike danced, admiring him.

But soon her concentration on the dance itself wavered. Her before smiling face turned into a light frown as she – once again - got it confirmed that idols on the screen not always completely let up on themselves. Even though she had worked in the idol-scene for awhile now it was still something she hadn't grown accustomed to.

The selfconfident and social Heechul she had seen on TV was much different here. He was much more quiet and reserved, never talking with the other members, almost like an outcast. Two of the ''comedy guys'', Eunhyuk and Leetuk were definitely not on as good terms with each other as they usually let up on TV. Here, Eunhyuk was continiously snarling negative comments at Leetuk for his – in Eunhyuks opinion – bad dancing. In Min Hee's eyes the both of them acted very childishly, she guessed that they must have an even deeper problem between the two of them. She glanced at the people around her when Leetuk and Eunhyuk went at it again and concluded that no one seemed surprised or uncomfortable at their way of ''interacting''. 'Not something new then...' She thought.

The hour simply flew by and soon f(x) came in through the door as Super Junior were getting ready to leave. Leaving, a few of the SuJu guys politely bid Min Hee goodbye while some of them simply ignored her and disappeared without a second glance. Before Mike left, they both exchanged numbers, promising to keep in contact with each other.

”Aight~girls~!” Min Hee turned to f(x) and smiled big. ”Let's nail it today!”

They all nodded but didn't look that very energetic, except Amber. Min Hee tilted her head and studied the girls. ”Tough week?”

Again, they all nodded, except Amber.

”Unnie~, go easy on us today, please~?” Sulli glomped Min Hee and looked up at her with puppy eyes, batting them.

Min Hee snorted and affectionately pulled on her nose. ”Yah! I've grown immune against your aegyo now. You're over using it you know!” Sulli frowned and pulled away, rubbing her now red nose.

Min Hee took a look at the girls again and couldn't help but soften seeing their haggard appearance. ”We will go through the small details of what we've done so far then... I mean, no power dance!” Sulli sighed of relief and so did Krystal. Luna suddenly smiled brighter and Victoria just looked thankfully at Min Hee. As the leader she couldn't be all happy about it but relief was evident in even her eyes.

”But you, Amber!”

Amber who had been tying her shoes looked at Min Hee with questioning eyes. ”Yes Unnie?”

You've been on break so I expect NO slacking from you! Got it?” Min Hee raised on of her eyebrows and tried to make an authoritative expression, earning several chuckles from people in the room.

Amber put her hand to her head and saluted. ”Got it, sergeant!”

”Goo~~~~~~d!” Min Hee smiled and pressed play.

Sora couldn't believe that she had actually missed the first meeting. Unacceptable! Being the new head lyricist it was completely unacceptable... and embarrassing.

With a neutral expression – not giving any of her thoughts away – she listened to one of her lyricist juniors concluding the meeting for her, going over what they had decided and still hadn't decided. Her junior – a young boy – was stumbling over his words as he rushed through the notes he had written down. Sora couldn't help but feel bad for him.

”Sang Wook...”

The boy stopped talking and looked up at Sora with nervous eyes, for the first time meeting her gaze. Though he immediately looked away and fixated his eyes on some point above her head. ”... Yes, sunbaenim?”

Sora wondered if her mood really had been that bad when she had arrived, so to make this boy feel so nervous.

”Sang Wook, I feel bad for keeping you here. It's okay if you just give me your notes and I will go over it myself.” Sora smiled reassuringly and gently took the papers from his grasp. She glanced at them for a second. ”They look pretty through and through. Thank you, Sang Wook.”

Sang Wook eased up and also smiled. ”Thank you, sunbaenim!” He stood up from his seat and bowed deeply. ”Then... I'll be going now...”

Sora also bowed – while still seated – and nodded. ”Have a good day Sang Wook, I look forward to working with you again.”

Sang Wook bowed even deeper again. ”I also look forward to working with you. … Thank you!” And with that he bowed for the third time, smiled and walked out of the room. As soon as he had left she directed her full attention to the notes. There was nothing special about the notes, the usual decisions had been decided and nothing seemed out of place. This she thought, til she got to decision nr. 24.

”24. Head lyricist (Song Sora) is to attend all recordings.”

She read the short sentence over and over several times as she felt the meaning of it becoming clearer with each second. She was now stuck with 2PM – again. Furthermore, much, much closer than she had wished.

She felt her heartbeat speed up and her thoughts wandering back in time. Images she had wished to forget started to surface again and to her surprise they were still crystal clear. Not something she appreciated.

In a hurry she flipped back to the last page and went over the attendants list. Yes, the one whom she was 99% sure of had suggested this idea had attended. A certain ''pretty boy'' from Thailand named Nickhun.

Sora groaned and flung her head back when she had noticed the next name under the list of attendants, Chansung.

Ofcourse! With him involved ofcourse it went through.

She kept staring up at the ceiling, not bothering about her not very comfortable position, just thinking about what she should do next.

Going against the idea was out of the question. This was definitely her fault, if she had attended then this wouldn't have happened. She closed her eyes as she realized that she had to face it. Also, she knew that she wasn't all too motivated to find a way out of it. Having a very responsible nature she knew that she in the end still would've given in to the decision.

She couldn't deny the fact that even if it was a pretty sly way of getting to her it at the same time was a very good idea. Having written most of the lyrics and also being fluent in japanese she would definitely be able to help those six guys getting their language right.

Sora couldn't help but ponder on the question if those two – Chansung and Nickhun – would say anything in advance to him. She opened her eyes and straightened her stiff neck. She sighed at the obvious answer.

No! They would definitely NOT tell him.

Hana was sitting on the counter fully concentrated on the face infront of her. Applying foundation on Jihyun's face. One of her co-workers stood beside her, ready with the next set of make-up equipment.

Hana's hand suddenly froze in the middle of a movement, she dropped her hand and leaned back with her head tilted, looking at Jihyun with a flat expression on her face. Before anyone got chance to say anything she started with her work again.

”You've gotten chubbier again haven't you?” Hana suddenly blurted out after a long times silence, sounding as if she talked more to herself than to anyone else.

The peaceful chatter in the hairdressing saloon died down and all heads turned to Hana. Hana herself not realising that she just had mentioned a taboo subject kept applying foundation on Jihyun's face without a care for the world. Neither did she notice how Jihyun's expression had changed to that of a rather pissed one.

A mobilephone could be heard ringing somewhere in the saloon and Hana stopped with what she was doing. She put down her sponge, jumped down from the counter and rushed towards her bag lying in a couch.

HyunA shook her head and patted Jihyun's shoulder. ”Just try to ignore it, remember, it's Hana-sshi!” After HyunA's ''wise words'' the saloon went back to it's original state.

Hana talking on the phone in a rather respectful tone noticed how her co-worker had taken the initiative to finish the work Hana had started on Jihyun's face. ”Excuse me for a moment...” She put her hand over the speakers on her phone so that the person on the line wouldn't hear.

”YAH! Don't touch! I'll finish it!” She yelled out in a sharp tone, making the girl jump in surprise, take on big step away from Jihyun's face and bow apogetically.

Hana returned to her phone and continued with her conversation in a calm tone.

”Ahh... B2ST you say... Yes, you're correct, I haven't worked with them so far.” She listened to a long explanation and nodded now and then.

”Yes, I understand. … Ofcourse I'll do it. Just send me the schedule and the list of who I'll be working with and there won't be any problems.” With that she hung up and turned to one of her co-workers, a woman much older than her.

”You take over from next week on and three weeks forward! I'll be busy with B2ST's make-up.” The woman nodded and opened to ask something but got cut off by Hana answering her untold question.

”You'll get more information from the boss, I guess.” Hana put her phone back in her bag and then went back to her work on Jihyun.

Renn stired and slowly dragged herself up in a sitting position. She rubbed her eyes and blinked a few times before she gained full understanding of her vision. The spacy room was filled with sunlight and the white bed sheets made everything look so much brighter. Renn with a dazed look glanced to the left and noticed the vacant spot beside her where Hana the night before had fallen asleep. Her eyes then moved to the digital clock on the night table and noted the time as a bit past eleven in the ''morning''.

She then went into thinking mode wondering if she had anything to do. The thinking went... slow. She in the end gussed that she didn't have anything important, so she slumped back down in the bed again, covering herself with the blanket to shield out the strong sunlight.

*sigh*

This chapter has been written over a long~ time of period time and that's probably also very obvious.

I was supposed to release this chapter two weeks ago but two major things got in the way (car-crash >_>') and pushed it back to now. I had also thought about going through it a few times more and ''refine'' it but that would take time and I really felt like releasing it! >.< Don't wanna keep you waiting any longer. :S

Hmmm... I've decided that this story will take place in AU though a very realistic one much similiar to the real one. xP

Oh right, also, drama~ vill soon start. ^^ I just like ''waking up'' the characters first in a few(?) chapters. :) Sorry to you who didn't come up that much in this chapter, but some characters may get more ''text'' in one chapter and lesser in another. PLz be understanding. >.<

I apologize for any wrong grammar or spelling mistakes, there are surel plenty of them. I'll look over the text later sometime when I have the time. =^^=
