“I accidentally looked at the script book. I took and opened the page; unexpectedly she’s so diligent, marking her part with the highlighter and even put notes on the dialogue.

Something caught my attention at the back of the book. It was a short word. “Chansulli”.

I smirked when I saw it. Chansulli. Perhaps, it was “Chanyeol – Sulli”?”

 

“Ok, Guys! 15 minutes break! And I hope you’re back with a better acting… We might even rehearse until midnight if you all keep acting badly. Put that in your mind!” Sungmin hyung said as he closed the first rehearsal. Once he turned around, everyone was just sighing in relieved.

I took a bottle of mineral water, looking around while drying my sweat with the towel that I’ve been carrying since this morning. We were about performing the latest musical story written by Sungmin hyung. Ever since he graduated from the Musical major, he had been producing several musical stories that been showing in local theater. His masterpiece attracted attention, that’s why lots of youngsters like me who had interest in musical started to join the musical club that he made. He may seem soft, but whenever he directed us, he showed different charisma; and that’s what I like about him.

“What do you think of my vocalization today?” Baekhyun asked Sulli, who sat at the floor while drinking the mineral water.

“It’s better after you recovered from flu, Oppa. I think you shouldn’t try too hard for now, at least until you fully recovered… But so far, you sound great” Sulli replied, adding her cute eye smile when talking to Baekhyun. Somehow, whenever I see her smiling, I started to smile too. Her smile is contagious.

“Okay then. I’ll buy some snack first… Just a second!” Baekhyun said as he went out from the rehearsal stage. Sulli nodded and then drinking the water again, breathed heavily.

I took a seat next to Sulli once Baekhyun went out. As always, Sulli acted polite and sweet; she nodded her head when she saw me.

“Hi, Oppa!” she greeted with her infamous smile.

“Don’t breathe too deep… Why are you sighing? You’re still young”

“Just thinking.Why the rehearsal today seemed to be very … strict. Were our acting that bad?” she pouted while looking at the script.

I shook my head. I also didn’t understand why Sungmin hyung keep asking us to repeat the confession part again and again. In this story, Sulli and I was a couple who hid their feeling for years, but not until Sulli’s character decided to confess to my character. I’ve been repeated it nonstop for more than 20 times with Sulli, and to be frank, that’s really tiring; but still, Sungmin hyung wasn’t satisfied with it.

“I think I’ve done my best; I mean, when I sang and did the confession, I think I’ve put whole of my heart into it. I wonder which part of it that still lacks emotion, just like what Sungmin oppa said” she continued as she traced the pages of the script.

I took a peek on it. She’s really diligent. She carefully highlights her part and put some notes on it; she’s really working hard for this musical.

“Don’t worry, we can do it. I mean, this is not our first time working together, right? And also this was not our first time to get scolded by Sungmin hyung…” I rolled my eyes when I said it, she just laughed.

“When you did the confession part Sulli, I think you looked really great. I mean, you seemed to be honest about it. You acted very well, especially when you wished that my character could stay longer…That’s very touchy” I complimented her.

She smiled widely, but I managed to see a blush in her cheeks.

“Was it from your experience?”

“Wh-what? What experience?” she awkwardly answered. I cracked a laughed when I saw her awkward answer.

“Do you have a boyfriend?”

She shook her head immediately. “Nope”

“Have you ever had a boyfriend?”

She shook her head again. “No chance”

I smirked as I saw her. “You know, you’re cute and pretty, it’s impossible for you to not have any boy hit on you. Do you have a crush?”

Again, she shook her head.

“How about you and Yoojin unnie?” she suddenly asked about me and my dear girlfriend.

“We’re going pretty well.Thanks to you we’re being a couple again” I winked at her, remembering our fight up on winter last year. Sulli played important role on helping me back with Yoojin. “At least, I should repay you back. Do you want me to set you on a blind date?”

She laughed and playfully hit my arm. “No, thanks. Besides, I’m not that interested on dating” adding a smile to her answer.

I grinned at her while stretching my arms. It’s just a waste of her for not having a boyfriend around, I thought.

“Anyway, do you know that we got a couple name?” I asked her as I saw the mix of my name and Sulli’s on the banner held by the fans of the musical earlier.

She shook her head. “We had fans? Whoa that’s new to me hahaha”

“Do you know what the couple name is?”

“What?”

“Chansulli”

“What? That’s lame hahaha. Seriously Oppa? Someone called us Chansulli? That’s ridiculous!” she laughed when she hearit.

Sulli wrote Chansulli on the back of her script. I smirked when I saw it.

“So you shipped us too?”

She rolled her eyes and smiled mysteriously. “No. It’s not Chansung-Sulli of course”

“What is it then?”

“Secret” she winked as she answered it.

“Oh come on. Like there’s a secret on it”

She smiled again. Right when she’s about to answer, Sungmin hyung voice heard as it’s the alarm for us to go back rehearse again. Both of us stood up and walked to the stage.

“Still not want to reveal the Chansulli you wrote before?”

“Later on?”

“Chansulli!”

Sulli and I looked at the spectator side when we’re having the rehearsal. I heard it clearly; someone was shouting the nickname that I’ve said to Sulli around 3 weeks ago. Turned out it was a guy with a big grin drawn all over his face.

“Did you hear it? Someone said our couple name” I said to Sulli while laughing on the stage. When we rehearse, usually people could come and watch us, and tonight was happened to be one of our rehearsing nights.

Sulli chuckled as she saw the top row of the spectator where I saw Jiyeon, Krystal, and Minho there. Jiyeon waving her hands to us, while Minho and Krystal talked to a guy with messy curly hair that seemed a bit confused, the one that previously screamed. Sulli waved back to Jiyeon and smiled.

“Oh God, he must’ve seen it” Sulli murmured to herself, but I managed to hear it.

“What? Who had seen what?”

Sulli sighed and showed me the back of her script where she wrote “Chansulli”. I frowned, tried to digest the situation. She suddenly nodded, confirming what’s on my mind.

“Oh. OH. So he’s the Chan of this nickname?”I came up with a summary.

“Yeah, as you could see”

“He’s the guy that studying in US?”

Sulli nodded while reciting her lines. She chuckled again when she saw the guy that sat next to Minho looked at her with confused look.

“He must be already assuming something. His face is always like that when he had something on his mind…”

“You like him, perhaps?” I asked her. She laughed while punching my arms playfully.

“Hmm..I don’t know; I still don’t know Oppa” she answered, shrugging her shoulder. “Let’s just practice more”

I looked once again to the guy that sat next to Minho. He didn’t seem to smile again, it’s more like he’s thinking something; or assuming something, just like what Sulli said. We saw each other, I nodded to the guy and he awkwardly nodded back to me. Oh this must be interesting, Sulli and her crush.

Interesting.
