Chapter 2

DongWoo's POV

I lock my phone screen and put it back to my pocket. Taking a deep breath, I try to cheer up myself. I must keep calm. I'm can't be so pathetic like this. Now what I need to do is meet him, talk with him about this. Yeah, the operator noona was right. I take my phone out once again. I want to call him, but still feel a little hesitated. What if my voice cracks up between the conversation...

Finally, I create a text message. A really short one. Like what he sent me a couple of hours ago. When my phone shows that the message was sent to his sucessfully, I slightly smile.

A bitter smile, which hasn't appeared in my life for a very long time. Maybe, my whole life will be changed after this moment. The message is on its way, bringing along my destiny. All I can do now is wait for him to appear.

Hmph~ Now I can figure out Henry van Dyke's famous quote - "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity"

Now, to me, every single second is passing too slowly. It makes me feel so uncomfortable, so insecure. What do I need to do when he shows up? In my head now it's just a big mess. I can't think about anything. I just can't.

HoWon's POV

Suddenly, my phone vibrates soundly, which makes me suprised a little. I was enjoying my conversation with Sung Jong. All of you hearing this would say "Huh? Who's Sung Jong?" Okay so, maybe I need to introduce him to you guys first.

Lee Sung Jong is my little cousin, living in Busan. I haven't met him for nearly 7 years, since our family moved to Seoul. Last week, he came to Seoul to apply for an famous art university. After succeeded at it, he decided to come over to my house and visit me.

Now, we're sitting here, in a restaurant, talking about our memories in the childhood. Everything in Busan the old times pop up in my head, makes me miss my hometown so much. Haven't return there for a long time. Things have changed and people must have changed, too.

Sung Jong also talks about some silly things we did when we were little kids. He makes me laugh so happily that I almost forget about everything. Until the message comes and wake me up from my daydream.

"We need to talk. Meet me at Fuyu café" - What a short message. It has no heart-shaped or funny cutie icons as what he used to send me. Ehm... This doesn't sound right to me. But what would it be anyway?

I call a waiter, pay the bill and say goodbye to Sung Jong. I was making my way to the main door, when Jjongie suddenly called my name " HoWonnie hyungnim, don't leave me here! You know that I hate being alone!" He looks at me with his puppy eyes.

Ehm... What should I do? Stay here with my cousin and ignore my love? Or leave him here and go to the café? Yeah, maybe I should do that! My love is waiting, can't let him down. Hmm... Could I take Sung Jong to my date? Naaaaaaah~ That brat will ruin it for sure.

"Mianhae Sung Jong ah~ Hyung have to go!" I say it quickly and get out of the main entrance. I walk in the crowded street for about 15' minute and finally reach the café.
