IU was a brat from America who came back to Korea to visit her father for summer vacation. On the very day she met her father again, she'll discover the truth about him, that he already fave a new family. Being a brat that she is, she and her now stepmother weren't always in goo terms. Just when she decides to fly back to America, she'll meet the person who will become the main reason to  make her change her mind, Jang Wooyoung.

He spent his life hating the world. He's rebelious and very sorrowful. It all started when he discovered that he's not a legitimate son of the family he grew up with. He's adopted. He does something wrong on purpose as revenge to the family who lied to him. Just when he decides to end his life, he'll bump into the person who'd eventually make him cheerful again.
