Description
Alice was gorgeous but she didn't know it. This may sound like another story of a girl who's innocent and fall in love with a prince like boy. But no. She was blind. For the past years of her life, she attended a private school for the blind. When she turned seventeen she convinced her parents to let her attend a public high school. She wanted to feel what it was like to be normal again, to have friends, go shopping, attend parties, and have fun. Alice's parents hesitantly said yes, and sent her to the local Seoul high school. She didn't know what was coming, but before she knew it, she was already known as a threat to the girls. Her beauty covered the fact that she was alone and hurting on the inside. Sample:
Foreword
Alice played with her fingertips nervously. Today was her first day at her new school. Her heart was racing. I can do this... I just need to act confident... She felt the car come to a stop and the door slowly open, her seatbelt was released for her as she stepped out of the car and into the warm sunshine. She tilted her head up and felt the rays of warmth spread slowly around her face. Alice smiled and felt confident. She felt a tug at her hand, and walked towards the direction of the person that was pulling her. She heard doors open and she was pulled once more.
"Bye miss. I will pick you up after school arasso?" The familiar voice of her driver whispered,
"Neh. Kamsa.." Alice smiled.
She then heard the door open once again and close with a slam. Soon there were footsteps again and she held her breath. There was a handsome young man with a sheet of paper who had approached Alice. He was awed. She was beautiful... Her hair framing her face perfectly, her skin looked soft and vulnerable, and her eyes were extraordinary. He took a deep breath and started talking.
"H-h-hello Miss Alice. I have been sent to assist you with all your classes and show you around." A low voice stuttered.
"Oh. Hello." She stepped closer and smiled. "I'm glad you know my name."
The boy looked nervous and let out a chuckle. "It's my job.."
Alice stepped closer so that their noses were nearly touching. The boy held his breath and shut his eyes. He felt her hands glide down his chest and then touch his hand.
"Don't be nervous.. I just want to shake your hand.." She stepped back and held his hand. Alice laughed as she felt him shake her hand. "Sorry.. I do this to most people when I meet them. It's polite to.. Am I wrong?"
The boy smiled. "You're absolutely correct... My name is Se Hun by the way."
Alice let go of his hand and smiled as well. "Thank you Se Hun..."
