On Saturday

“Our flight leaves at 11pm. Pack your bags” Luhan flung open a deer-themed suitcase, placing his items in the bag. Sehun was waiting in the corner, sobbing quietly while unable to face the reality that his lover would leave him.

I glanced at the clock, 12pm?! My meeting with Baekhyun... I slammed my luggauge close, grabbing some chocolates and flowers and ran for the door. I'm going to confess today, it's now or never...

I clutched the gifts and took a seat at the restaurant next to the Bubble Tea store. What will he say? Will he accept me? A wave of heat gushed to my cheeks, thinking of his response. A huge grin appeared on my face as I sipped on a cup of latte.

12.30pm... Where is he? No worries, I'll just wait. Maybe he's on the way? I shrugged but I couldn't deny I was a little disappointed as each second passed by. I took a quick glimpse around the restaurant, hoping to spot him but to no avail. I sighed, putting down the cup and started kicking my legs.

Where are you? I'm here already.

I'll be a little late, I'm busy. It's okay, you don't need to wait for me

1.30pm, 2.30pm... After every hour I would crane my neck, searching around for Baekhyun.

“Chanyeol?” I looked up with hopeful eyes.

“Oh, hi Jongin. What are you doing here?” I asked, a sense of bitterness in my voice.

“Me? I'm here with Kyungsoo. How about you?”

“I'm waiting for Baekhyun”

“B-Baekhyun? I saw him in the park just now. Maybe you can go see him” I nodded, grabbing all the gifts while rushing to the park.

“Baekhyun-ah, I-” He turned around, revealing a girl beside him. Sojin...

“O-Oh, she's here too?” I questioned, faking a smile while in fact, my heart just shattered to a million pieces.

“C-Chanyeollie, I can explain-”

“It's okay” I waved away his words, staring at the flowers and chocolates. “Here, for you” I passed them to Sojin. Turning around, I made my way back to Sehun's house.

Baekhyun's POV

“Happy now? I'm supposed to be on a date with Chanyeol” I asked, irritated by Sojin clinging onto my arm.

“Hey, he's the reason you're here. If not, I would tell him that-” ... She knew I had a crush on Chanyeol?

“W-Wait, how did you know?”

“I saw your diary entry” She replied, waving up a small, familiar-looking book.

“Why would you do that?!” I tried snatching it back but it didn't work.

“Baekhyun-ah, I-” Chanyeol? Damn.

“O-Oh, she's here too?” He asked but I could feel a sense of disappointment.

“C-Chanyeollie, I can explain-”

“It's okay, here, for you” He passed a box of chocolate and flowers to Sojin then left.

“What have you done?! I hate you...” I turned to face Sojin, making her release her grip in surprise. I flinched away, getting up and trying to chase after him.

“CHANYEOL!!” But it was too late, he was gone...
