A few days have passed and whenever I reported to work, I would feel a thorn inside my heart, not willing to come out. No, it wasn't cause of the stress but because of Baekhyun. Ever since he met Sojin, he's been busy out of his mind. It really pained me to see it. Once, he even brought her to his house, introducing her to us. Although I was really annoyed, I was glad that at least Baekhyun was happy with her.

“Thank you, come again~” I turned around, looking at Jongin. “Ahh~ The joys of closing up” I stretched, taking off my apron. That's when Baekhyun came into sight.

“What do you want?” I asked, rather annoyed. He pouted, whining while pulling on my arm. Arghh... Not this again. He knew I could never stand his cuteness.

“YES?!” I flashed a fake smile but luckily, he couldn't see through it and instead, slung his arm over me.

“I was thinking... If you're free this Saturday, maybe we could... Go for lunch?” Baekhyun asked, blushing slightly while avoiding eye contact.

“Are you serious?! OF COURSE I WOULD!!” And with that, I wrapped my arms around him. Oh ... I covered my mouth. Did I really say that? I let go, nodding enthusiastically.

“So, uh... See you tomorrow, then” I smiled, running back to Sehun's house, where I was supposed to see him after work.

Outside the door...

“HOW COULD YOU?!” I could hear shouts coming from the inside. No big deal, just their usual squabble again... I unlocked the door, revealing the scene that was unfolding inside.

There, Sehun was sobbing uncontrollably while Luhan was hugging him tightly, giving him small pecks on his cheek occasionally to comfort him.

“Ch-Chanyeol” Sehun said while running to me. “Can you believe it?! Luhan is abandoning me to go study in China. How could he?!”

“Sehunnnn~” Luhan asked cutely, pouting. “I have one more ticket to China, if you want to go with me”

“Why can't we stay in Korea? Why must you go?”

“My parents need me, Hunnie~ You have to understand” And with that, Sehun stormed into the room, leaving a depressed Luhan behind in the living room.

“Wow~ Did a storm brew up in here?” I asked, ruffling through Luhan's golden locks.

“N-No, it's just that I'm going to study in China for the next few years. My flight leaves on Sunday and I want Sehun to come along but he refuses. Now I have one extra ticket to spare” He paused, then turned to face me “Or maybe.... You could come with me, Sehun would be less worried” W-Whatttt?! Really? And leave Baekhyun here?

“P-Pleasssssseeeeeee?” Luhan looked at me with soulful eyes. I patted on his back.

“Fine” He grabbed onto me, bringing me into his embrace. At this moment, Sehun walked out of his room, his jaw dropping at the sight.

“XI LUHAN!!” They started quarreling again... I smirked, it was quite an enjoyable sight actually. Now, just to settle Baekhyun. I went into the kitchen, whipping up a fresh batch of cookies.

“I'm back~” Baekhyun's voice rang through the air.

“I baked a fresh batch of cookies, want some?” Baekhyun immediately stretched out his arm, grabbing a piece. I grinned, taking one myself.

“YAY COOKIES!!” Luhan jumped, sneaking one up his sleeve while feeding one to Sehun. Sehun happily accepted, pinching onto Luhan's cheek.

“So, Baekhyun, I heard you were together with a female colleague” Sehun teased, pulling onto his shirt.

“N-No...”

“Whenever I go into your room, I see you texting her. Don't deny~ Was it Sojin?” Not her again... I really hated her. Everyone in the company knew that she only liked people because of their fame and money.Why can't people see that?

“So, Chanyeol, what has she been up to?” Sehun directed his focus to me. I dropped my cookie, staring back at him.

“Why do you even care?!” I replied, slamming my cookie onto the table, gaining stares from all walks of life.

“E-Excuse me for a while” I ran to the toilet, leaving a concerned Baekhyun behind.
