Ch.3 “Um…hello?”

Amber’s POV

This stranger stared at me in what seemed to be a look of disbelief. I kind of had that affect on most people to be quite honest. “You’re who?” She asked rather quizzically. “Amber….your roommate. Didn’t you read the packet?” She looked quickly in her packet and came across my name. “It says Amber right here but uh…..you definitely don’t look like an Amber to me.” I couldn’t help but laugh at her statement as I placed my bags over on what I assumed to be my side of the room since she already claimed the other side. “You look like…” “A guy, yeah I know” I said cutting her off. “What’s your name?” Still slightly shocked she uttered out the name “Jasmina.” “Oh that’s a pretty name….where are you from?” She seemed to be easing into conversation with me slightly.

“Oh well I’m from California but my parents sent me here. Hey…I’m really sorry about the reaction I had earlier.” Such a cute girl. “No it’s fine. But that’s cool I’m from California too. Funny I’ve never seen you there before.” She began playing loosely with the hem of her shirt. I laid back on my bed and rolled over to my side so that I could still face her and talk at the same time. I observed her as she began unpacking and placing all of her belongings neatly around the room. I thought I would get up and go ahead and do the same. All the while putting my things away, I couldn’t help but look back at her several times. Every time she went to bend over I could feel my heart rate quicken up quite a bit.

I pushed the growing lust aside. I dropped my small suitcase and she came over to help pick it up. I raced towards it hoping she wouldn’t open it. “What’s in this?” I quickly grabbed the bag from her. “It’s just some of my things.” She eyed me but I quickly stashed my bag away and finished the rest of my unpacking. A few hours went by until we were finally settled in. I looked over at the alarm clock and it read 9:45pm. I stretched my arms out over my head and yawned slightly. “I’m about to go take a shower.” I looked over at her as she spoke and she was already dressing down. My eyes grew slightly wider as I saw her standing there in a leopard bra and matching underwear. I could feel a warm sensation building between my legs. This girl got me wet just by looking at her. With her bra and still on, she grabbed a towel from a cupboard by the door and wrapped it around her thin yet curvaceous frame.

She grabbed a small basket filled with various cleaning items and headed out of the door and down the hall. Once she was gone I flopped down on my bed and let out a huge sigh. I began to wonder what she looked like completely . I pulled the covers back and wrapped it around me as I slid my hand into my pants. I pulled back my and slowly inserted my fingers inside of myself. I my lips just at the thought of this girl as I fell into a wave of ecstasy.

Jasmina’s POV

I slowly made my way down the hall and felt the plush of red carpet curling up in between my toes. I could hear music and several conversations being carried out behind the long hallway of doors. I rounded around a small corner that led into the bathing area for this floor. I subconsciously wrapped my towel tighter around me as I saw a few other girls showering up. They all seemed to be fully confident in their bodies as if they were used to it. I on the other hand wasn’t fond about sharing a shower room. I enjoyed being able to have my privacy and this crossed some of my boundaries. I picked a shower in the far corner away from some of the chatter. I was still in vision of the others girls but this location led me to believe that I had some amount of solitude.

The marble tile was getting even colder on my feet so I quickly the warm water and let it cascade around my numb toes. I slowly undid my towel and hung it up on a hook beside me. I tested the water with my hands before fully submerging myself. I fully stepped in and the warmth slowly relaxed my tense muscles. I poured a small amount of strawberries and cream shampoo into my hands and lathered it into my dark hair. It felt good as the suds from the shampoo raced down my back and collected onto the floor. I closed my eyes and leaned my head back letting the warm water run down my face. A small sigh escaped my lips. “Hello” said a slightly familiar voice. I jumped and turned around to see amber standing there with a towel wrapped around her frame. I began blushing instantly realizing I was indeed in front of her. “Don’t worry….we’re all girls here” she said with a smirk on her face.

I backed up into the water in a failed attempt to hide myself and my embarrassment. She her water and slowly undid her towel. I blushed instantly as her s bounced out and the water splashed against them. She definitely wasn’t a boy. She smiled over at me and stepped into the water. Her short black hair originally styled up; was flattened by the running water. It gently rested on her broad shoulders. I began lathering my body in attempt to distract myself. I couldn’t help but realize she had a pale tone with a slight touch of olive beige to it. It looked very good on her. Wait…what was I talking about? Every so often she would peak out of the water and look over at me.

I could have sworn that I saw her wink at some point. I quickly turned off my water and raced out of the bathroom with my towel clinging to my body. My hair dripped the whole way back to the room and I slammed the door shut behind me. My heart was beating faster….I just figured it was from practically sprinting back to the room. I dried myself off and dressed into my pajamas. No sooner Amber walked back into the room wearing a tight pair of shorts and oversized t-shirt that hugged slightly on her hips. “Is everything okay?” I blushed once again. “Yeah I’m fine.” I laughed nervously and went to brush the tangles out of my hair. I was struggling to get the comb through and could feel myself getting angry. “Here let me help.” Amber came up behind me and grabbed the comb from my hands. She sat on her bed and motioned for me to sit in her lap. I looked at her questioningly and reluctantly sat in her lap.

Her hands gently grabbed my hair and began running the comb through the series of tangles. I felt relief as her long fingers ran through my hair. I could feel chills going down my spine. Her hand brushed up against my hip and I jumped slightly. “Don’t worry. I don’t bite….hard.” She began laughing at her odd joke and a nervous smile was placed on my lips. I could feel her breathing down my neck as she ran the comb through my hair a few more times. “All done.” I instantly got up and went back over to my bed. “You’re a very pretty girl Jasmina.”

I mumbled a thank you not knowing what else to say. After a few moments of awkward silence we both laid back on our beds and turned our desk lamps off. I looked up towards the ceiling with a million questions in my head. “Amber…do you like it here?” I couldn’t see her but I could hear her shifting in her bed. “It’s a pretty cool place I guess. You just gotta get used to it. Don’t worry….I’ll help you.” I felt eased and I rolled back over and buried myself in my blanket. “Thank you Amber.” I closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.

Amber’s POV

I rolled around and stretched my arms out wildly yawning. I looked over at my alarm clock that read 7:30am. I really didn’t want to get out of this bed at all. I looked over at Jasmina who was still sound asleep despite the fact that the loud alarm went off. I could hear other girls getting ready across the hall from us. Oh well….better get up. I threw my blanket off and flung my legs over the edge and stood up. I looked in the mirror and was shocked at how wild my hair was. I played with it slightly until I got it to stand up and have a nice little flip to it. I walked over to my closet and pulled out the crappy uniform. They really didn’t leave much room for individuality here. I slid on a pair of plain black dress pants and a tight button up maroon colored shirt.

I rolled up the sleeves and put on a pair of white socks and grey converse….at least we could wear the shoes that we wanted. I walked over to Jasmina and went to wake her. I noticed a small bottle of perfume on her desk and went to look at it. “Play it lovely….hmm.” I sniffed it and decided to spray a small amount on my neck. I bet that it would smell better on her. I placed the bottle back down on her table and went back over to her. “Jasmina…Jasmina.” I gently shook her and she rolled over with a slight grown. Her blanket slid off of her and onto the floor. She was laying there in a giant t-shirt. The shirt was above her waist due to her moving around in her sleep. I my lips slightly at the site of her pink lace . I grinned at the thought of what she would look like in her uniform.

“Time to wake up.” Her eyes fluttered open gently and she stretched her arms out over her head making her shirt go up even higher. She realized this and jumped up instantly covering herself. I couldn’t help but laugh as I made my way to the door. “Hurry up and you can meet me for breakfast.” I closed the door behind me and made my way down to the dining hall. I entered through the doors and all of the girls looked the same. Well yeah they were wearing the same clothes….but just something about them. I wasn’t really drawn to any of them. I went up to my group of friends who were eagerly waiting for me. “Hey Sulli!” She smiled over at me and scooted over making more room for me. “Where are Victoria and Krystal?” She gave me a look that said where do you think?

I engaged in mindless chatter with Sulli and Luna all the while looking around the room. I kept waiting for Jasmina to walk in but I didn’t see her anywhere. “She drives me nuts! All she does is stay up and have phone with her boyfriend all night…it’s so annoying.” I was brought back to focus at Sulli’s discussion of her roommate. “That . I just share a room with Victoria” Luna announced to Sulli who still looked rather frustrated. “What about you Amber….is she a hottie?” They both busted out into laughter. They were well aware of my ual preference yet they accepted me for it all the same. No sooner Victoria and Krystal both walked up with their trays of food. I was beginning to get agitated when suddenly she walked in. Her black socks came up slightly below her knee and her black skirt hung beautifully against her hips and about mid-thigh.

Her short sleeve maroon shirt hugged against her large s and a silver chain dangled down in between them. I had to fight back the urge to want to remove that necklace with my tongue. Her hair was put up in a bun with a clip pulling it to the side. She looked around lost and eventually sat down at an empty table. I watched her from afar as she pulled out a small book and began reading it. “Oh is that her…you’ve been staring at her pretty hard Amber.” I turned around and looked at Krystal who was staring off in the direction that I had been only moments ago. “Uh yeah…her name is Jasmina.” All of the girls began whispering to each other while I continued staring.

Jasmina’s POV

I munched down on a buttered piece of toast and washed it down with a swig of apple juice. I turned a page of my book and continued reading. I became lost in the pages and was startled as a pair of arms wrapped around me. “Hey Jasmina” the voice whispered into my ear. I could feel Amber smiling against my lips. “Um…what are you doing?” She slowly released and I turned around to face her. “I was just saying hi….maybe I’ll see you in class.” I stared in disbelief as she winked at me and walked away. What was with this girl….and why was I thinking of her?
