Shin Hye: let’s move the date to a year later, It was just days before mine and Geun’s graduation

That Day

February 18, 2007

Morning Break

Eun Mi: Yah! Shin, are we gonna go visit Yong?

Shin Hye: Yah! Yong?

Eun Mi: wae? I can’t call him Yong?

Shin Hye: you can but…

Eun Mi: ne?

Shin Hye: it’s nothing

Su Young: liar liar I’ve caught you lying

Shin Hye: yah Su Young, Eun Mi can call him in any way she wants to

Su Young: stop lying eonni

Eun Mi was bitten by the curiosity bug

Eun Mi: let me in on it

Su Young: you see when oppa was still alive they made a pact that only she can call him Yong, if someone else calls him Yong, Like Geun Suk oppa, he needs to teach that person a lesson

Geun Suk decided to interrupt

Geun Suk: but I decided to force my way in, in their pact, I called him Yong too and she would always get mad at me

Eun Mi: just as I expected of this monkey

Geun Suk: yeah yeah, call me monkey, rather than being a bug like you

Eun Mi: and that’s coming from someone who keeps on bugging other people

Geun Suk: right I bug people but I never knew that you were a person

Eun Mi glares at Geun Suk

And Geun Suk returns the glare

Right at that moment Shin Hye hits them on their heads with her thick notebook

Geun Suk and Eun Mi: Yah!

Shin Hye: why do you 2 keep on fighting?

Eun Mi: because this monkey keeps on annoying me

Geun Suk: and this bug is irritating me to the core

The two of them glared at each other again which resulted to a another hit on the head

Geun Suk and Eun Mi: you know that hurts right?

Su Young takes Shin Hye’s notebook and hits her in the head

Shin Hye: Ow that hurts!

Su Young: now she does

Shin Hye: you better run now

Su Young: aniyo, I’m still explaining

Eun Mi: she’s right

Shin Hye: arasseo, continue

Su Young: thank you, as I was saying, the nickname Yong can only be used by Shin Hye eonni, but since Geun Suk oppa here butted in their he can also used it but as always it makes eonni a little bit annoyed and maybe mad that Yong Hwa oppa didn’t fulfill his end of the bargain

Geun Suk: oh don’t worry, he did give me a lesson

Shin Hye: did you really give him a lesson

Yong Hwa: I really did and I explained it to him but he was just too stubborn

Little Flashback from Yong Hwa

Yong Hwa: Geun-ah?

Geun Suk: ne, Yong

Yong Hwa: please refrain, no stop yourself from calling me Yong, it seems that I can’t let you do that for I have made a pact with Shin Hye

Geun Suk: ah, so that’s why she’s mad every time I call you Yong

Yong Hwa: ne and I have to give you a lesson if you don’t stop

Geun Suk: really, aren’t you giving me one now?

Yong Hwa: in fact I am, but I’m also your friend, you can call me however you like just tell Shin that I gave you a lesson, arachi?

Shin Hye was smiling because of Yong Hwa told her that he taught him a lesson but without explaining the full details

Fast Forward to College Years

Geun Suk, Eun Mi and I went to the same university while Su Young was just graduating that day

With Geun Suk was having his class Shin Hye was being hit by several guys

But Eun Mi saw this and she went to pissed off these stupid guys

Eun Mi: yah, you

Guy: me?

Eun Mi:  yes, you, stupid, she’s taken. Arachi!!!

The guys went away

Shin Hye: arachi???

Eun Mi: wae? I was just telling them to…

Shin Hye: arachi was something Yong says most of the times when we were still together

Eun Mi: ah, wae, do you miss him?

Shin Hye: ne, so much

Eun Mi giggles

Shin Hye: what’s that giggling for?

Eun Mi: nothing

Shin Hye: yah! Tell me!

Eun Mi: arasseo, in some way, this is just a maybe, maybe you liked Yong more than a friend

Shin Hye blushes and it costs her to have a late reaction

Shin Hye: MWO???

Eun Mi bursts out laughing

Eun Mi: your late reaction explains everything

Eun Mi: anyway what’s with Su Young?

Shin Hye: I actually don’t know all she keeps on doing is asking me

Su Young: what if Yong Hwa hyung didn’t die?

Shin Hye: what are you talking about Su Young, we have to accept it

Su Young: have you accepted it?

Shin Hye: I can’t answer that

Su Young: Answer me eonni, answer me please

Shin Hye: of course not

But Shin Hye stops it

Shin Hye: stop it you 2

Geun Suk: but I haven’t gotten my revenge

Shin Hye: no need for revenge and she’s a girl

Geun Suk: really? It doesn’t seem like it, I mean he looks like a guy rather than a girl

Eun Mi: look who’s talking, you look like a girl more than I look like a guy

Geun Suk: mwo? I dare you to say that again

Eun Mi: you look like a…

The 2 of them got hit with the large notebook once again

Shin Hye: yah you 2 stop it

Geun Suk: arasseo

Eun Mi: He started it

Geun Suk: me? You called me annoying

Eun Mi: that’s because you are

Eun Mi: so stop being annoying, arachi!

Geun Suk: arachi?

Geun Suk: that’s so much like…

Shin Hye: Yong, right?

Geun Suk: so where are we going?

Shin Hye: I want to go to that ddukbokki place

Eun Mi: I love ddukbokki

A few minutes later we arrived at the place, it was a simple shop yet you feel at home there

Shin Hye went in and the ahjumma instantly greeted her

Ahjumma: oh Shin Hye ah, you’re here again, come on sit down

Geun Suk: ah annyeong ahjumma

Shin Hye:  and this is my friend

Eun Mi: annyeonghaseyo Park Eun Mi imnida

Ahjumma: come and have a sit

Ahjumma: uhm Shin Hye ah, Su Young came here several days ago, asking for a picture of Yong Hwa, do you know why?

Shin Hye:  ah ne, I believe that she still can’t accept that Yong Hwa is gone after all this years and yet truthfully I also can’t

Ahjumma serves them a plate full of ddukbokki

 Ahjumma: I know that feeling, Yong Hwa ah, that kid, was always good, every time he has some free time he’d come here not only to eat but also to help

Geun Suk: well he thinks the world of you, he told me once that you were like a mother to him

Ahjumma then started to cry

Shin Hye: ahjumma, gwaenchanha?

Ahjumma hugged Shin Hye

Shin Hye: its okay ahjumma, let it all out, everything is gonna be alright

Ahjumma: gomawo Shin Hye ah

Geun Suk: ahjumma, come here eat with us

Ahjumma: it’s alright, but thank you, wait here I have to give you something

Ahjumma went inside a took a picture

It was a picture of Yong Hwa, Geun Suk, Shin Hye and Su Young eating their plate of ddukbokki happily

Ahjumma: I want you to have this, my last picture of him, I already gave Su Young a picture of him but this is the one I always liked

Eun Mi: uhm, ahjumma, can I have another plate of ddukbokki?

Geun Suk: look at this, she already ate all of it while we just barely started with ours

Shin Hye: Geun, just eat don’t disturb her

Geun Suk: yah, you are my girlfriend, you’re supposed to support me

Eun Mi: hahaha, loser

Eun Mi was eating off Geun Suk’s plate

Geun Suk: yah!

Geun Suk moved his plate and some of it fell on Eun Mi’s shirt

Eun Mi: yah!

Shin Hye then hit them in their heads with her thick notebook

Shin Hye: stop it

Geun Suk and Eun Mi: and stop that

And the argument continued

Ahjumma was smiling when she saw the 3 of them arguing

 

Later at Shin Hye’s home

She took her notebook and put the picture inside

She looked at the photo and the smiling Yong Hwa

Shin Hye: oh how I miss you

“What if he is still alive?”

Shin Hye: oh how I wish so

“In some way, this is just a maybe, maybe you liked Yong more than a friend”

Shin Hye: Do I?

“Maybe you liked Yong more than a friend”

Shin Hye looks at Yong Hwa in the picture

Shin Hye: I do…

Back to Present

Yong Hwa: do you?

Shin Hye: I do

Yong Hwa: you do?

Shin Hye: I do

Yong Hwa: do you like me?

Yong Hwa moves in closer then stops

Shin Hye: I do

He moves closer again and asks

Yong Hwa: do you love me

Shin Hye moves in closer and answers

Shin Hye: yes I do

Yong Hwa: you know, I do too

Shin Hye: do what?

She moves in closer

Yong Hwa: I love you, ShiShin, so much

Shin Hye: you know what

Yong Hwa: what

Shin Hye: I could kiss you right now

Yong Hwa: kiss me

Shin Hye: yes kiss you

Yong Hwa: no, kiss me

So I kissed him, I, Kissed, him

And His lips touches mine as mine touches his

And as always it tasted amazingly addictive

Then his phone rings and still we can’t stop

For when he my lips and I feel his tongue moving around my mouth fighting for domination

I can’t fight it, I just can’t, I just can’t

And then his phone rings again

So I stop for a moment and told him to get it

I was breathing heaving as he was but his answer surprised me

Yong Hwa: No

Shin Hye: mwo?

Yong Hwa: No

Shin Hye: take it

Yong Hwa: aish arasseo, you do know, this is the second time you interrupted our kissing time

Shin Hye: yes, take it

Yong Hwa: don’t do that next time, arachi!

Shin Hye: ne, ne, just take it

He took the phone and answered it

Yong Hwa: who in the world is calling?

Michael: sorry master, it’s me

Yong Hwa: ah Michael, what is it?

Michael: it’s your father

Yong Hwa: what’s with my father?

Michael: he’s missing

In the abandoned hospital

The laughter was stopped due to the buzzing sound of his phone

“Yoboseyo”

At the other side of the conversation was the female voice

“Have you sent it to them?”

“I sent it in a few minutes ago, several hours later they’ll receive it”

“Good, was there a hint at end of the video?”

“Everything is going the way we planned it omma”

“He shall pay for his sins”

“And he will, he will”
