Shin Hye’s face goes red in an instant

She turns her face away for a moment then turns to look at Yong Hwa’s face then immediately turns again and looks at the other way

Shin Hye then shyly responds

June 22, 2006

3 years after the suppose death of Yong Hwa

Yong Hwa’s 17^th Birthday

Park Residence for Su Young and Shin Hye

Parents live on the restaurant

……

Su Young: hey eonni wake up or we’ll be late

Shin Hye wakes up, takes her towel and immediately went to the bathroom

Fast forward to 30 minutes later

Shin Hye went down already dressed in her school uniform

Su Young: eonni I’m going ahead and since your lover is going to with you it won’t be necessary for me to in

Shin Hye glares at Su Young for calling Geun Suk her lover well in fact he is indeed her boyfriend but he just doesn’t like Su Young calling Geun Suk her lover all the time especially at school

But Su Young decided to eonni more

Shin Hye: arasseo, your food with you? You got money? How about your phone, pen, Extra pen? And last of all, your notebook. In short do you have all of your daily necessities?

Su Young: ne omma

Su Young immediately went out, took her bike, sits on the saddle, pedals but stops apparently after a few steps away, and waited for Shin Hye to get out then she sticks out her tongue

Shin Hye: aish! Jinjja, this kid really annoys the hell out of me

Shin Hye didn’t notice that Geun Suk had arrived

Geun Suk waves his hand while looking at Shin Hye then walks towards Shin Hye

Geun Suk: Shin Hye noona annyeong

Shin Hye: noona? Are we still playing this game?

Shin Hye: you see there’s this game made by Su Young and Geun Suk several days ago,  the game is that they need to do some adding of something to my name everyday and it’s a 2 rule system

Shin Hye: The 1^st rule is that they’ve got to attach something to my name every time they try to converse or they do have a conversation with me therefore it can be anything, but never nothing and the 2^nd rule is that their attachments got to be different each conversation

Shin Hye: The way to win is to not have 11 mistakes by the end of the week and why 11 not 10 it’s because they wanted it to be a little bit different

Shin Hye: the punishment of the loser is to treat the winner to 2 reasonable items and I’m the referee if no one reaches 11 then the one with the least mistakes wins and if they get a tie then they’ve got to treat each other to an item each

Su Young: pedaled back as she hears the question

Su Young: Shin Hye ahjumma, do you really need to ask?

Shin Hye: MWO??!!

Su Young: ne, lady killer Shin Hye and at the same time winks at her eonni

And Shin Hye’s face was full of rage

Shin Hye: you

Su Young decided to pedal to escape her eonni

Geun Suk halted himself from bursting out in laughter he kept it inside but he just couldn’t hold it anymore

Geun Suk: HAHAHAHA …..

Shin Hye: yah!

Shin Hye begins to hit him but stops for it reminds her of Yong Hwa

Geun Suk immediately catches this and executed his line to change the atmosphere

Geun Suk: Shin Hye daetongnyeongnim(President) you ready to head out

Shin Hye: so where’s my limousine?

Geun Suk: there it is Shin Hye Chonglinim(Prime Minister)

Geun Suk points at his bike

Shin Hye then bursts out laughing

Shin Hye just went inside to get her things and slightly clean up the place and lock the front door

She went out and ran towards Geun Suk’s bike and then immediately sat at the free space behind the saddle

Shin Hye: Kaja!

Geun Suk smiles and replies in a very thick voice

Geun Suk: arasseo, Park Shin Hye senpai (upperclassman in Japanese)

Back to the Present

Yong Hwa: yah! Are you purposely making me jealous, can we skip the GeunHye parts?

Shin Hye did tell him this on purpose

Shin Hye pinches his cheeks

Shin Hye: aigoo, Jung Yong Hwa, jealousy, jealousy, jealousy

Yong Hwa: Aish! Jinjja, skip those parts!

Yong Hwa glares at Shin Hye

Shin Hye returns the glare

Shin Hye: do you want me to tell you the story or not?

Yong Hwa then decided to back down

Yong Hwa: arasseo, arasseo

Shin Hye thinking* knew it

Shin Hye: so then….

Shin Hye: We arrived at our school barely making it and had our morning classes until our lunch break

During Lunch Break

Eun Mi: Shin Hye ah

Park Eun Mi is one of my girl best friends, I only have 3 best friends, Park Eun Mi and Park Su Young and the supposed to be deceased Jung Yong Hwa. Jang Geun Suk is another matter and at that time he was Shin Hye’s all time crush and soon to be boyfriend

 2 years after Yong Hwa’s supposed to be death Eun Mi’s parents moved in a nearby home, at first they were strangers then neighbors but when she went back to school they were classmates and they became seatmates they too became friends but not yet that close to each other until they saw her at the cemetery when Shin Hye and Su Young decided to visit Yong Hwa that day

That day she was crying as she was looking at that cold block of stone where an inscription can be read

This made Eun Mi smile too

Shin Hye went towards Yong Hwa’s supposed to be grave

And Su Young was there

Su Young: Eun Mi eonni

Shin Hye: annyeong Yong we decided to visit you me and Su Young plus someone else a friend of mine Park Eun Mi

Park Eun Mi: annyeong Jung Yong Hwa-ssi

You can imagine what happened after that but one thing’s for sure Eun Mi became close to me as if she was also a sibling of mine

Eun Mi: can we go out lat- wait isn’t today Yong Hwa’s Birthday?

Shin Hye: you remembered?

Eun Mi: of course, so you 3 will be going right?

Shin Hye: ne but you can come if you want to there’ll be a celebration after we visit him and while we do you can visit your mom and I can visit her too

Eun Mi: sure I’ll go

Geun Suk overheard the conversation and decided to interrupt them

Geun Suk: Shin Hye maenijeonim (manager) you talking about our best friend, right?

Eun Mi: still playing that game?

Geun Suk: obviously

Eun Mi: you picking up a fight?

Geun Suk: so lame

Eun Mi: I should be the one to say that to you

Geun Suk: well I said it first

Shin Hye: both of you stop it right now

Shin Hye: why does the 2 of you fight whenever you see each other?

Geun Suk: well I don’t want to but she always wants to

Eun Mi: yeah right blame it on me

Su Young: seeing you 2 like this it looks like you 2 are the 1 in a relationship

Eun Mi: huh? Me and him, Hahaha

Geun Suk: totally impossible

Su Young thinking*: we’ll see I know what your hiding Eun Mi eonni

Eun Mi thinking*: does she know? My unrequited love and how it’ll always be unrequited

Su Young: so then Janggunim (general) what time shall we go?

Shin Hye dismisses the calling for the sake of the game

Shin Hye: well omma and appa are also going to visit Yong so they’re coming now to fetch us and then later we’ll be eating out to celebrate his birthday

Geun Suk: Shin Hye daewinim (captain) should we buy a cake and then all of us can blow the candles later

Su Young: good idea lover boy

Once again Shin Hye dismisses the calling even though she was a bit annoyed

Shin Hye: arasseo, I’ll tell omma and appa

They all ate their lunch then sometime later Shin Hye’s and Su Young’s parents arrived and their parents personally asked their teacher for them to be excused that day and so they went to visit Yong Hwa and then after that they went home and had the celebration it was a celebration for friends and family was invited some of Yong Hwa’s old friends as they were classmates came so did his teacher, then some friends of Su Young who knew Yong Hwa through her stories

The food was great and everyone had a great time recollecting the time they spent with Yong Hwa no matter how little it was then later the cake came and even without the birthday guy they sang happy birthday for Yong Hwa

Geun Suk: alright now, everyone gather and blow the candles on the cake

Shin Hye: come on let’s send him our happy thoughts

Su Young: in 3, 2, and 1

Everyone: Happy Birthday Yong Hwa

Shin Hye: I’m happy once again Yong Hwa, they are here to make me happy and so many things are gone for you’re gone too but in my heart you are there, always there

Return to the present

Tears were falling from Yong Hwa’s eyes

Yong Hwa: it may not be connected to what I’m asking you but thank you for telling me that

Shin Hye: aw, my handsome Yong, tears makes you a very very very handsome man

Shin Hye then wipes the tears falling from his eyes to his cheeks

Shin Hye: but Yong you’re wrong it’s connected to how I fell for you, that night I realized just how important you were really to me when you were gone I felt loss and incomplete but that night I felt complete once again when I found out that you never left that you were there, in here, in my heart, always…

Yong Hwa then took Shin Hye’s hand and pulled her to him erasing whatever distance was in between them he was looking at her as if he was inspecting every part of her face and she couldn’t look at him but when she did she can’t look anywhere else but at him

Shin Hye: Yong wh-

Yong Hwa: ssh, do you know how beautiful you look?

Shin Hye: eh?

Yong Hwa: do you-

Shin Hye: let’s continue the story

Yong Hwa: ssh, you know, If I could I would-

Shin Hye: what?

Yong Hwa: this

No other word came from his mouth as his mouth met hers for the second time but this second kiss feels like it should have been their first kiss, their first kiss was good and she even thought that it was the best kiss of her life but compared to their second kiss it was definite that this was better for the gentleness, hesitation, calmness, they’re all gone, only passion and hunger were left behind

It felt like time stood still and no one wanted it to stop but still no one could keep on going forever and when they finally did stopped both were panting heavily, it was all huff and puffs but the smile in their faces is as visible as the glowing moon

Yong Hwa: want to go another round?

Shin Hye blushes and nodded shyly

And Yong Hwa couldn’t help but smile and no one, as in no one can stop them from ever doing this thing that gives them the feeling as if they were heading to their seventh heaven

But then Shin Hye suddenly remembered the story

Shin Hye: Yong

Yong Hwa: ne Shishin?

Shin Hye: uhm, can we continue this later?

Yong Hwa: wae, you don’t like it?

Shin Hye: it’s not like that, its just that we still have a story to finish

Yong Hwa: ah, ne, you’re right

Shin Hye: ne, uhm, where were we?

Yong Hwa: we just stopped kissing, wae? Want some more?

Shin Hye: ani, the story, where did we pause

Yong Hwa: oh, we stopped by… the celebration

Shin Hye: oh, ne, so…

 

Meanwhile

Jae Hwa was brought to an abandoned hospital

And then brought in an empty emergency room

Then he was immediately tied but this time he’s standing

“You there ready the camera and give me a mask”

Several minutes later the cameras were set up

“Good, now it’s time for the horror film to start”

“Start the countdown”

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and action

A man steps in front of the camera

And then a curtain is dropped off

“Hello there, ladies and gentlemen, and who do we have here”

“Well, well, isn’t this the famous JUNG JAE HWA”

“Why in the world, is he here and why is he tied standing up?”

“The answer ladies and gentlemen is that Mr. Jung Jae Hwa is ought to be punished for the crimes he committed and his punishment shall be pass unto him at this very same moment”

“Don’t worry you can still save him as long as you can find us, and we’ll also give you a hint it’ll be a present for you it shall arrive with you along with this videotape and you can’t open it for the combination lock for the present shall only be revealed at the end of the video”

“Well then good luck I hope to see you soon and oh I almost forgot there’s one other thing left”

“You see we’ll be giving you a peek a consequence at will happen if you can’t find us”

“I know that you know this one but have never experience it, I myself have never experience it but now we shall see how long he can hold on”

They moved the camera closer to Jae Hwa as men tied him to a chair

“This is a towel, good quality, and we shall put it over his face and that, bring it here, is a jug full of water and as for Jung-ssi’s first punishment he shall have his first try at waterboarding”

“Do It”

Jae Hwa: Don’t, Please Don’t

Silence, its silent all around but then suddenly you hear a voice, it’s the voice of man who is being drowned and strangled at the same time

Then laughter, the laughter, of pure inhumanity…

How is it? I hope you think its good but personally I’m not good at writing especially at kissing scenes my cousin said that I should burn the entire chapter because of the kissing part  my best friend told me that the story indeed went down at the kissing scene well then I changed it and they said that it was fair not good just fair hahahaha well then I hope I can improve my writing so that it won’t just be passable next time but to say well hopefully good for them and I want to thank them for telling me the complete truth as it will make me better
