Chapter 3 | Comfort.

 

 

          "So what else do you wanna do? We can do anything as long as we remember where the airport is." Seunghyun said to Bom as they walked out the restaurant.

 

          "How much time do we have left?" She responded.

 

          "Well it's only 6:36pm, so i'd say we still have some time."

 

          "Perfect! I know exactly what to do!" Bom exclaimed blissfully.

 

          "What do you want to do?" Seunghyun asked curiously.

 

          "I want to go to an amusement park! I've never been to one before." Bom said, really embarrassed.

 

          "What? You've never been to an amusement park? Do you live under a rock or something? Everyone's been to one!" He continued teasing her, practically laughing in her face.

 

          "Well I haven't!" Bom was now infuriated. "Fine, don't come with me, I'll go by myself!" and after saying that Bom starting sprinting away, leaving Seunghyun to follow her.

 

          "Where are you going?! Do you even know where your going?" He screamed at Bom, who was speed walking to nowhere. "Leave me alone!" She screamed back.

 

          "I'm sorry Bom!" He apologized as he continued chasing her. She was stubborn and didn't listen, walking away from him. 

 

         "Bom do you even know where you are now?" Seunghyun said, still walking behind her.

 

          "I think we're lost." Bom said as she stopped walking and faced Seunghyun who sarcastically remarked,

 

          "No really?" Bom didn't respond and he continued, "This would have never happened if you hadn't walked off to nowhere!"

 

          "This would have never happened if hadn't been such a disrespectful jerk and made fun of me!" She yelled at him, and people were starting to stare. She continued walking and yelled, "Don't follow me anymore!" and much to her dismay, he was still following her.

 

          "Why are you so sensitive about this?!" He said, making her walk faster. "Stop walking Bom please!" He continued to plead but his efforts we're wasted and she kept walking.

 

          She finally came to a stop and yelled "This is all your fault Choi Seung Hyun! You shouldn't have made fun of me, your such a-"

 

          Seunghyun cut her off and said "Bom, look at where we are." She was angry that he cut her off, but when she looked up, it all went away. It was the Eiffel Tower, and they were in a park that gave a perfect view of the picturesque tower. It was grand and the way it glowed in the darkness of the sky, enhanced it's beauty even more. She stood there in awe. They found a bench in the park and sat down, especially since they were tired from all the walking around. "So can I ask you a question?" Seunghyun asked, trying to make conversation.

 

          "What is it?" Bom said, still a little angry from before.

 

          "What kind of ice cream do you like?" He asked, confusing Bom, but it made her laugh.

 

          She answered, "What? Where do you come out of nowhere with ice cream?"

 

          He laughed as well and told her, "I really like ice cream, don't you? There's a man selling some over there, want me to get us some?"

 

          "Sure, and I like chocolate." Bom said as Seunghyun got up to buy the ice cream. He returned with a chocolate ice cream for Bom and a blueberry one for himself.

 

          "Ta-da! This is my apology ice cream to you, you can only have it if you forgive me!" He handed her the chocolate one and asked, "So, am I forgiven now?"

 

          "Definitely!" She said, smiling at the ice cream.

 

         "So can I ask you another question?" Seunghyun asked in a more serious tone.

 

          "Go ahead." She replied and added "This better not be about a flavor or something again."

 

          "Why haven't you ever gone to an amusement park?"

 

          This startled Bom, but she answered honestly, "I never had anyone to go with."

 

          "No friends or family?" he asked but immediately apologized "Sorry am I pushing too far?"

 

          "No, it's okay. The thing is, I have a little sister, but ... we don't exactly get along and she really doesn't tell people I'm her sister, and the only other family member I have is my Dad but he's busy working all the time. I would go with friends, but I don't have any, since I put my career ahead of my friends." She confessed and then added "Sorry if I'm pouring all my life drama on you."

 

          Seunghyun responded, "No it's alright, we all have scars, I've got my share of drama too." He understood Bom's loneliness, he's been lonely practically his whole life. "and Bom?"

 

          "Yeah?" 

 

          Seunghyun smiled as he looked at her and said,"I'll be your friend."
