I've always been a fan of Simon. My goodness, that boy.

It was hard for Simon to connect with anyone who was a half-breed like he was.

Simply because not many of them existed.  

The closest he ever got was to someone who at least tried to understand him, understand the discrimination, understand the judgmental behaviors of others once they found out exactly what he was. No body, no pure-breed at least, understood quite how he felt except her. She was his own little miracle sent to him by some godly force. He was beyond grateful for her, for her existence, for her understanding of the way he thought, the way he felt, the way he wanted to be understood. 

Sure, the boys of Dalmatian, the record companies all accepted him, all understood him. But it never made him completely content. It was rare, but he had seen a number of hateful messages posted about him, discriminatory and judgmental alike, all because he wasn't a pure-bred Korean. He didn't look like a pure-bred Korean, that was for a fact. He had the face of his other heritage, and all it took was one little judgmental comment for it to become a topic sparsely talked about, but mentioned none the less.... 

Lee Jin fell in love with Simon.  Her first meeting with him occured back when he was scouted. He was supposed to be one of the debuting members of Dalmatian until leaving to persue a solo career. But even then, she never forgot him.  She tried to keep in contact with him, but wasn't able to, to the fullest potential. 

When Lee Jin heard of Simon's arrival to train and comeback with Dalmatian...

She was ecstatic. 

That was when it all started. When Lee Jin became Simon's confident. 

When Simon began to tell her everything.

When she became his everything.
