Smiling Face

Face In the Crowd

And I saw her again in the coffee shop a few blocks away from my pad. She was talking with a girl I presumed was her sister, or maybe a friend. I was across the street when I saw her again. To help myself, I decided it was high time I meet her. Looking at the traffic signs in front of me, it seems I had to wait. For the cars were racing on the streets like there was no tomorrow, and the sign in front of me said STOP. Looking at the traffic lights, I smiled as I saw the light turn orange, then red. The cars would stop. In front of me, the sign said GO. I crossed the street hurriedly together with the other pedestrians. Her smile was the guide for me not to lose her. And suddenly, as I was about to enter the coffee shop, she was gone. How could she be so elusive? She's as quick as a hawk! Ms. Beautiful, when will I see you again?
