“Hyung!!!” Sungjong’s protest was left unheard when an icing made its way to his face

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNGJONG AH!!!” cheered the rest of Infinite as they shower their maknae with love and icing

“Fine, I’ll be nice just this once” said Sungjong haughtily as he wiped some of the icing on his eyes but it got stuck on his hair instead

“Hold still Jongie!” Woohyun tried to hold the maknae down so he could get a good shot

“Wait! I want to be in it too” Sunggyu stood beside Sungjong as they posed for the camera

Everyone was having a good time and despite the spat that happened a few weeks ago, Sungyeol and Myungsoo seemed to be back to normal

As Sungjong excused himself, he didn’t notice a certain choding following him.

Sungjong was cleaning his face when Sungyeol interrupted him

“So, Jongie,  what’s your answer?” Sungjong almost bumped his head on the faucet when he heard Sungyeol’s voice

“Hyung! Don’t do that!!” Sungjong’s face was dripping which made Sungyeol laugh

“I didn’t mean to scare you Jongie.. but I have to admit you really look cute when you’re angry” Sungjong felt his cheeks heat up because of Sungyeol’s comment

“So?”

FLASHBACK

Yesterday, the guys were planning a surprise birthday party for their beloved maknae

“Hoya, Dongwoo, and Sungyeol, keep Sungjong busy for today until we plan something out on where we can celebrate his birthday” Sunggyu told the rest of them his plans

“Aigoo, I can’t believe our maknae is already 20” cooed Woohyun as he wrapped an arm around Sunggyu’s shoulder

“I still remember how he told me that his face is one of a kind” replied Sunggyu who was busy trying to get Woohyun’s arm off of his shoulder

“Sungjong is just pretty, you can’t help but feel attracted to him” Sunggyu sent a menacing glare towards Woohyun before stomping off towards the kitchen

“What’s his problem?” asked a dumfounded Woohyun who was puzzled because of Sunggyu’s actions

The rest of them just shrugged their shoulders in response

“Sungjong ah! We’re going to practice, want to come?” asked Hoya who was fixing his shirt in front of the mirror

“Sure!” Sungjong came out fully dressed

“Let’s go!!”yelled an excited Dongwoo as they piled in front of the door

They decided to take a 5 minute break before resuming their practice. Everyone was drenched from head to toe. So to lighten the mood, Dongwoo and Sungyeol decided to joke around

“Aigoo, Sungjong, are you sure you’re a boy? You really have good skin?” asked Dongwoo as he pinched Sungjong’s cheeks

“Of course I’m a boy! Can’t you see my muscles?” Sungjong flexed his arms which caused Hoya and Sungyeol to laugh out loud

“Nice try Sungjong but I don’t see anything” chuckled Hoya as he playfully ruffled Sungjong’s hair

Sungyeol then flexed his arm muscles in front of Sungjong “ Now, this is what you call a muscle”

Hoya and Dongwoo couldn’t help but laugh at how muscular Sungyeol’s arm is compared to Sungjong

“Yah! mark my words, you guys will regret the day you ever made fun of me and my muscles” replied an annoyed Sungjong

“I’d take back what I said when that day comes, but for now I have to go" said Hoya as he walked past Sungjong and went straight to get his bag

“We’ll tease you a bit longer, our pretty Sungjong ah” Dongwoo pinched Sungjong’s cheeks once more, he then followed Hoya in bidding the maknae line good bye. They told them that they'd head first since they have to do something else, a.k.a find Sungjong a cake for tomorrow

Sungjong was pouting all throughout which made Sungyeol laugh

“You know, having too much muscle doesn’t really suit you”

“So? I’d do anything just to make you guys stop teasing me and calling me pretty all the time” Sungjong replied with a huff

“But you are pretty, that doesn’t change the fact that even if you have muscles you would still be pretty in my eyes” Sungjong was feeling butterflies inside his stomach

‘What in the world is up with Sungyeol hyung? I thought he was in love with Myungsoo hyung, what the…’ Sungjong suddenly felt Sungyeol embrace him

“Yah! Hyung, what are you up to?” Sungjong was trying to break free from Sungyeol’s bear crushing hug

“Wait, let me hug you, please… even just for a minute” Sungjong couldn’t believe his ears, was Sungyeol begging him for a hug

“Uh… sure?”

Sungjong felt uneasy, especially with how close Sungyeol was. Sure they did this during their fan meets but, this one was different. He could’ve swore he felt Sungyeol’s heart beat thumping.

“Sungjong ah, I know this might seem sudden, but will you go out with me?” Sungjong was rooted to the spot. This was something he would have never imagine Sungyeol would say. He was used to all the insults but, this was something that made Sungjong stop and stare at the ceiling.

“Y-you what? Hyung, are you drunk?” Sungyeol let Sungjong go and turned him around so that they were now face to face

“I’m not joking, my feelings are true. I just want to know if you could give me chance? I know you liked Myungsoo but, I promise you I’ll do much better than him” Sungyeol replied with a cheeky grin before placing a kiss on Sungjong’s cheeks

“You don’t have to answer me now. I’ll wait for your answer tomorrow”  Sungyeol flashed his gummy smile before leaving a blushing Sungjong behind

Back at the dorm, Woohyun was coaxing Sunggyu who seemed pissed off

“Don’t tell me you like Sungjong too?” said Sunggyu accusingly

“What do you mean? Of course I like Sungjong” said a bewildered Woohyun who was still pondering on

why his hamster was fuming

“See! You admit it! You do LIKE Sungjong, if that’s the case then I suggest we break up”

“Now hold it right there! Just because I like Sungjong we have to break up? Gyu, look at me” Woohyun held Sunggyu’s wrist to prevent him from leaving

“You t-told me t-the other d-day, that S-Sungjong m-made you feel warm inside” Sunggyu was trying to hold back his tears which amused Woohyun endlessly. He finally understood why SUnggyu was acting that way since that morning

“Aigoo, don’t tell me you’re jealous?”Woohyun was trying his best not to laugh out loud but,seeing Sunggyu’s angry face made him realize that if he wanted to sleep in a comfy bed that night, he wouldn’t dare piss Sunggyu further.

“He does make me feel warm but, not as much as you do. Sungjong’s like a little brother to me and an annoying one for that matter. Don’t you ever doubt my love for you, alright?” asked Woohyun as held Sunggyu’s face between his hands

Sunggyu couldn’t help but smile at how greasy his boyfriend can be. But who cares, he loves him too much, even though some of his cheesy lines make him want to punch him right in the face.

“Come here” Woohyun placed a kiss on Sunggyu’s lips. Sunggyu gladly encircled his arms around his boyfriend’s neck before giving in. They got so caught up in their own world that they didn’t notice that the members were already done with their practice.

“If you guys don’t get a room, I’m going to lock you both outside” threatened Sungjong which startled the intimate couple in front of them

“Seriously hyung, you could do that inside your bedroom, we don’t need a free show” teased Dongwoo who was leaning on to Hoya

Sunggyu was too embarrassed that he just buried his head on the crook of Woohyun’s neck

“Yah, stop teasing Sunngyu! Can’t you see my hamster is embarrassed enough… I couldn’t even see his eyes”

“What did you say?” Sunggyu regained his senses and kept on whacking Woohyun which earned a fit of giggles from Hoya, Dongwoo, Sungyeol and Sunjong.

END OF FLASHBACK

“So?” asked Sungyeol hopefully

“Sure, Sungyeol hyung. I’d go out with you” Sungjong happily embraced Sungyeol who was lost for words.

“R-really?” Sungyeol couldn’t contain his emotions that he instantly placed a kiss on Sungjong’s lips

“Hyung! Stop stealing kisses, that’s not nice” Sungjong playfully punched him on the shoulder while wearing a smile on his face

“Sorry Jongie, I promise I’ll do my best to keep that beautiful smile on your face” Sungyeol placed on kiss on the maknae’s lips just to make sure that this was real and not his imaginations running wild

“Yeollie hyung, stop hanging out with Woohyun hyung, you’re starting to sound greasy too!”

The new found couple went back to the room with their hands interlaced.

“Woah, what’s this I see?” asked a surprised Hoya

“Don’t tell me you guys are going out?” Sungyeol couldn’t help but flash a cheeky grin while Sungjong nodded his head timidly

“Aiyoo, our maknae is all grown up!” Woohyun instantly went to Sungjong and began squishing his face which earned him a slap from Sungyeol, telling him to stop harassing his hubby.

Amidst of it all, Myungsoo was quiet. He was observing them from the sides. He could tell how happy Sungjong is.

“I hope he keeps you happy Jongie” he turned around so that no one will see that a tear was threatening to fall from his eyes.

He was planning on apologizing and confessing later that day. He wanted to take Sungjong somewhere else. Far from every one so that no one could interrupt them.

Sunggyu realized that Myungsoo didn’t come and congratulate the new couple.

“Myunsoo, are you okay?” he asked in a worried tone

“I’m fine. I’m happy for the both of them. Hyung, could you givethis to Jongie, I have to go somewhere after this. Bye” he handed the gift to Sunggyu before heading outside.

He stopped in front of the couple and gave Sungyeol a pat on the back while he hugged Sungjong tightly.

“Happy Birthday, Jongie” he whispered to Sungjong

He let him go but, before that he let out a smile. a forced and bitter smile.

Soo.. Woohyun is just a troll =P

I couldn't bear to break  up WooGyu... haha.
