• What?? – said the quintet at the same time

• Yes, as you heard, you will go to U.S to do a deep market research – said an executive

• Excuse me, but isn’t that a job for staff? – asked the beautiful leader of the quintet

• Sorry, Gyuri. I’m just telling you what the CEO said

• What about our already made schedule? – asked the 2^nd oldest girl

• The schedule will be completely cleared, Seungyeon, so don’t worry about it. Here’s a document explaining everything, so, we’ll take you to the airport tomorrow to begin this task – he gave the document to Gyuri and the girls left to their dorm.

• What does the document say unnie? – asked a skinny and doll-faced girl

• Well, Hara, let’s see – Gyuri took the document closer to her and read it – so, here says that we will go to the States and will join the McKinley High School’s Glee club.

• A Glee club? What’s that unnie? – asked the youngest girl

• It’s a choir, Jiyoung-ah – said a violet haired girl

• Thanks, Nicole unnie  - replied Jiyoung, then Gyuri continued

• We will make them win all the competitions: Sectionals, Regionals and Nationals, and after that, we will return to Korea, to discuss about our debut in the States and the rest of world.

• Our debut in the States and the rest of the world? – asked Hara

• Yes. The rest says that this will help people outside Asia to know our music style.

• So, basically, it’s like promoting our music into their country, without them knowing that we are performers or something like that, right? – said Seungyeon

• That’s right – replied Gyuri.

•  It’s a secret mission! – said Jiyoung, excited.

• Haha, yes, something like that – said Gyuri patting Jiyoung’s head

• Why do I think this is familiar? – said Nicole thinking

• URAKARA? –said Hara, referring to their drama series where they went through several missions to win men’s hearts

• No, girls, there are documents and involves our debut, so I don’t think this is a show or some sort of joke – said Gyuri

• Well, then… to States! – said a happy Jiyoung aloud

The next morning they woke up very early and were taken to the airport to go to United States. After a day, they got there, and took another plane which took them to Ohio State; they went outside the airport covering their faces trying to hide from possible fans. The girls got into a van which took them to the house where they were living for the rest of the year.

• Where are we? – asked Seungyeon sleepy

• Don’t look at me, I’ve never been in this State before, my family is from L.A – said Nicole when the girls looked at her

• Lima Heights! – said somebody at their backs

• Lima Heights? – asked Gyuri

• Yes, are you new here? – said a blonde boy to them

• Yes, we just moved here, and we don’t know anybody – said Nicole

• I was at a friend’s house near here; she made a party, oh! I’m Sam, Sam Evans, nice to meet you  - the boy approached to each one of them to shake their hands

• I’m Gyuri, nice to meet you Sam – said Gyuri while shaking her hands with Sam

• Nicole, nice to meet you – said the violet-haired girl while doing the same

• I’m Hara – said the girl while shaking her hands with Sam and smiling widely

• Seungyeon

• What? – asked Sam

• Se-ung-ye-on, don’t call me Seunghyun or Seungyun, most people make mistakes with my name.

• Then don’t worry, Se-ung-ye-on, I’ll do my best to not do that – said Sam smiling at her and shaking hands.

• I’m Jiyoung! – said happily the youngest girl

• Wow, you remind me of my little sister, I bet you two could get along, nice to meet you – said Sam and did the same like with the rest of the girls.

• And where you moved from? – asked the boy with curiosity

• We’re from Korea – said Gyuri

• Whoa, no wonder that you don’t know anybody or anything here – said Sam

• Actually, Nicole is from L.A and Seungyeon has been here before, but even so, we just… you know aren’t familiar with this place – explained Gyuri  

• Oh, I see. Anyway, do you need help with something? I can help – said Sam politely

• Could you help us with moving these boxes? some of these girls like carrying too much things with them – said Hara while looking at Nicole and Gyuri

• Sure, no problem

The house was quite beautiful and big, it had a big kitchen and living room, Nicole got so excited when she saw the kitchen, she just loves cooking and having that big place with so many cookwares. Upstairs were five big rooms, Gyuri’s and Seungyeon’s had their own bathrooms, on the aisle was a big bathroom for the rest to use. After Sam helped the girls with their boxes, he went downstairs where Nicole and Hara were, the first one was planning the dinner while the other was just thinking what to write on her cellphone, when Hara noticed Sam close to the stairs, she smiled at him and both went towards the door when suddenly Nicole spoke up.

• Hey, Sam! Is too far your home from here?

• Well, I’m living with a friend and his brother like 8 blocks from here

• Oh! I see, you seem really tired, please stay for dinner.

• That’s very kind of you but…

• Hey, no buts, we need to thank you somehow, Nicole is amazing at cooking, you really don’t want to miss this dinner, and you can sleep in the couch. Where do you study? – said Hara all of sudden.

• At McKinley High

• McKinley? We have a… - Hara was about to say “task” when she remembered that no one should know what they were doing there – I mean, we’re gonna study there starting tomorrow.

• Really?

• Yeah… we are… uhm...

• Exchange students! – said Nicole when she noticed that Hara couldn’t find the words.

• Oh! That’s cool, well, tomorrow we can go together and I can give you a tour.

• Excuse me, Sam, do you know how we can get into the Glee club? – asked Gyuri who suddenly got into the kitchen.

• The Glee club? I’m there! They’re always looking for new people, I can take you tomorrow to make an audition, I’m sure that Mr. Schuester won’t oppose to that, even if you’re just new to McKinley or exchange students. – said Sam smiling at Gyuri.

• Then, we’re auditioning tomorrow! – said Hara very happy.

After a delicious dinner that Nicole cooked for all of them, they went into a long talk, got to know each other better, Sam even learned some Korean words so he could mix better with them, so they won’t feel so out of place, he told them about life in McKinley High School and the people on the Glee club. After some minutes everyone got tired and Hara got a pillow and a sheet for Sam, and all went to sleep.
