Amber's POV:

"Soo," Heechul asked," How'd it go?" "It went better than expected, " I said reclining on the couch in my living room, "She wants to have icecream after school tomorrow." I heard him laugh over the line. "Well it's good that you were a gentlewoman and let her choose." "Man, don't call me that," I whined. "Muahaha," he cackled over the phone, " That's right! You are definitely a gentlewoman." "Whatever." I kicked my sneakers off and put my feet on the coffee table. "So, are you man enough to go without backup?" "Bwoh?" I said confused. "You know..backup," Heechul tried to explain," As in, do you want me to go with you." "Naw, I'll be fine, " I said, " Besides I can't afford to be embarrassed by you." Heechul scoffed, " Come on, I wouldn't screw you over." "Mhm" "Whatever Amber," he said, " I have homework. I'll catch you later." "Alright." I pressed the end button on my cell. "Amber?"my mother said walking into the room," who was that you were on the phone with?" "Just Heechul Mom, it's fine." "Okay.  .  .  . just don't be running around causing trouble." I rolled my eyes. "I can't believe this woman." She dissapeared into another room  and I was alone again. I sighed. I stood up from the couch and rushed up to my computer. Sitting down I opened up the web browser. 

  "It's totally dead today," I thought to myself looking at the number of people who were offline. Not knowing what to do next, I wandered around the news feed. I usually got a bagillion different friend reccomendations, but they were alway people I didn't know. Curious I looked through the list. By suprise, I came across JinRi's profile. "She has a Facebook?" I thought to myself. Trying my luck I sent a friend request to see what's she'd do. I left it alone for a while and proceededto play some games. Several minutes later, I was shocked to see a notification that JinRI had accepted the request. Not only that, she had also sent me a message that instant :

Hey Amber . . . 

"Am I going crazy, or is JinRi actually talking to me?" I thought to myself as I typed a reply:

Oh, Hi

Sorry for asking this, but why are you talking to me?

You never say a word to me at school ..

I waited, and an indication of her typing showed up. 

Haha, don't you know by now?

"Damnit," I whisper," She sounds shady."

Noticing my day old can of soda, I reached to take a sip. I was unhappy to find it was extremely bitter, for the fizz was almost gone.
