I leaned against the plastic tree trunk on the large, polished black stage, gazing off into nothing as I hugged my backpack close.

An hour ago we finished rehersing.

My math teacher assigned three pages of problems, to 'help' us practice for our test tomorrow.

Ha, no way.

I'll fail anyways. I'll just go to sleep.
