CHAPTER ONE

Akio Evereira Asakura, a 16 years old girl wearing spectacles with an incognito Sakura. Her beauty is infinite, that is her number one weapon towards boys. Moreover, her killer smile and smirk is clearly their weakness. Sometimes she is inconceivable, lazy, gets bored easily and she even choke her own words. But she has a good fortitude and is credible in handling secrets. She felt so eager when people talk about her enthusiasm and how they adore her determination. She is fluent in hundred languages and has good pronunciation.

She had a monochrome-blue eyes and a white pale dermis skin. She is the only daughter of Mythia, an enchantress and as well as the daughter to a very powerful sorceress, Argytha and a thaumaturge, Wrythe. Despite that destiny seems finally reach within her she never knew her grandmother is a sorceress nor her mother is a enchantress, or even a daughter to a sorceress. She is some kind of fanatic when it comes to food. She is very beautiful, friendly, cheerful, shy, adorable, sarcastic and trustworthy. Her best friend is Saiko Rin, she feels lucky like a four-leaf clover to have him as her best friend since they were born.

At Akio's home, Akio had just finished eating her kimchi with her mother Mythia and also Saiko. She is so fanatic when she finished eating, she even burped in front of her mother and Saiko with no feeling of ashamed. But it brought her mother and Saiko laughter because they think that her burp is hilarious. She just put a smirk and rushed towards the hallway to her bedroom. "AH! My lovely bed! I love you! I love you! Muah muah." She jumped on her bed as if it is her first time ever to sleep on a bed, Saiko knocks the door and put a hand sign of "Can I come in?" Akio replies with a " Yes! You may,” She chuckles when Saiko said "My princess, *bows*". "Why do you always do that Saiko? I feel so shy." "Because you're very beautiful and you look like a princess to me, Akio." He smiled, Akio smiled too. Akio felt weird when Saiko is eyeing her. Saiko frowned reminding that someday Akio will fall in love with others instead of him, the one that is loyal waiting for Akio all this time. He frowned seeing Akio’s aura light up like on 4^th of July, glowing brighter as she lay on the bed.

As silence filled Akio’s bedroom, Saiko finally speak "I think I should go home now Akio, annyeonghi kishipsiyo." As Saiko went out of the house, Akio starts to put on her headphone and turn the volume to max and just ignore the world, while laying on her comfy bed and magically fell asleep as hours went by. As Saiko went out of the house, his throat tightening, heart clenching, imagining how it is to face his nemesis one day, which will be Akio future lover. He felt rather emotionless. He thought to himself, “I need a place where I can relax”, so he decided to go to the beach, where he and Akio used to play the water together. When he reached the beach, he sat and thought for a moment, “Time flies so fast. Akio grew up so fast. I’m scared I wouldn’t be able to be that guy for her. Even so, I wouldn’t be, I would love to see her happy too.” Without his knowing, there is this girl sitting inches away from him. He felt awkward when that girl is eyeing him, so he decided to walk and accompany that lonely girl. His heart races a beat as he walks through the sand. As he arrived there, it is actually his cousin, but he never get used to talking to her, moreover, his family was separated since he was five, so the only cousin he remembers is just Vella Evanescence. “Hello Vella, may I sit with you?” said Saiko politely. Vella nodded as a sign that is saying yes. "So Vella, you live around here?” “Yeah, I live not far from my best friend house.” Saiko paused for a moment and started to talk again. “Well, I live not far from my best friend house too” with a smile. “Really? Wow. That’s awesome.” “Yeah, so what you’re doing here at night Vella?” Vella put a fake smile and swallowed her saliva hard. Saiko looked at her with curiosity, “You seem upset” “Yes, that’s true Saiko. Instead of being just upset, I also feared something.” “What is it? I’m sorry if its private. Its okay if you don’t want to tell me.” “Well, if you’re insisting so, I will tell you. You seem so nice, I wanted to go to my best friend’s house, but seem like time don’t let me, I think she might be sleeping now. Here is it, I have a problem towards my family member. I fought with my sister, Keira Evanescence. She never understand me. She never understand my needs and my wants. I mean she is, mortal.” “What do you mean by mortal?” said Saiko squinting. Vella paused- she took a deep breath before continuing. “Well, my sister is a Lunar X” – “A lunar X?” “Yeah, you might not know what it means. I’m also a Lunar X but I’m immortal unlike my sister. She is strong headed and very stubborn. It is very hard to control her. I suffered from bittersweet memories - I saw her killing my parents while they were sleeping. She convinced people that both my parents commit suicide, but she asked me to not tell anyone about this but I have to. I can’t and I’m not strong enough to hold this burden myself.” Saiko felt surprised listening to her story and started to give her encouragement, “What done is done. We still have to move forward in life too! No looking back.” said Saiko with a smile just to make her feel better. Vella smiled too, “Thank you, Saiko. I appreciate it. I feel relief that I finally found someone to talk to about my problems”. “Anytime, Vella.” She sighs, “Saiko, maybe this will be weird for you because we are not that close, you know what I mean about how we aren't close. But I have no place to live for the night. Can I live with you just for this night?” “Oh! Sure why not. I live alone though. My mom is out of the town for a while, you know, business.” Saiko stood up and lend his hands to Vella, Vella holds his hand to get up. Saiko walks her back to his house through a shortcut road. “Here we go, home sweet home.” Vella looks up to see Saiko’s four-storey house and reply with amazement. Saiko laughs and said, “This house? I bet your house must be bigger than this!” Vella chuckles, “Not really, mind is a bungalow.” Vella sigh, her house isn’t a bungalow, or can be say as a house. It is a place where people call it Black Desire. All this time, she is living with her sister Keira in the dark side world of demons. It must be hard for her but she have to lie to Saiko, instead of telling the truth because it sounds like she fantasize her own life. Saiko welcomed her to his house and showed her the guest bedroom. “This is your room. Don’t worry about shampoo or soap, it is already in the toilet.” Vella feel secure being in a HOUSE for a night. She jumps on the bed and releasing a sigh. As she lay on the bed, she fell to a deep sleep.
