CHAPTER 6 - SULLI SAYS GOODBYE
DERPY LOVE
SULLI’S POV:
Today is my last day here in Eastville. I’ll be moving to the west tonight. I called D.O, Miyoung and Chin yesterday and asked them if we could meet today at 3pm at school. I need to see them. I would really miss them. I guess this is the saddest part of my life, so far.
I’m already here at 2:30. Just want to take a walk around East High, taking one last looks in every single place there. Well, I’ll be coming back here after 4 years anyway, so I don’t need to be so lonely, right? :(
I got a text message. They are already there. I forgot that I’ve been wandering the school grounds for 30 mins already. So I went back now to the quadrangle.
Just upon seeing them makes my heart twist. And when they saw me, Miyoung and Chin ran towards me and hugged me. We cried like when we we’re still in gradeschool.
“Hey, don’t forget to email me everyday, arasso?” Chin said.
“And to say goodnight to me. We always say that to each other everynight right? If you forgot to I’ll be dragging you back here.” Miyoung said while crying.
“And you said you’ll visit once a week. I’ll count on that.” We all looked at…
D.O. Now he is walking towards me. I don’t know how to say goodbye to him. It gives me heartaches. I can’t bear this.
I just walked toward him too and hugged him without saying anything. I hate this. I hate this feeling. As he hugged me back I cried even more. If I could only pause this moment.
“I’ll miss you guys. Super.” I said as I let go of D.O
“We will too” says Miyoung and Chin.
D.O walks away with hands on his pockets and head looking down.
“Miyoung,” I said .
“Ne?” she said.
“Please look after D.O for me. I mean, if he chased other girls, tell me. Promise?” I said while wiping my tears and smiling a bit.
“I promise.” She said while smiling with a tear on her face.
“You know how to comfort him. Please tell him that I care for him so much. I just can’t talk to him; it would be hard for us.” I said.
“I will. I will.” She nodded.
“I’m leaving now…” I said and the three of us had a group hug.
I looked at D.O’s direction and he’s still looking away with a very sad expression.
“Go to him. He just can’t bear to see you go.” Chin said.
I walked towards D.O..
“D.O, I’m leaving now…” my heart is twisting again. I hugged him from the back. Now my tears are falling again.
“You’re going to come back for me. Okay.” He said. I nodded and kissed him in the cheek. Then I ran away. I can’t take it anymore. I just need to be home.
D.O’S POV:
“D.O, I’m leaving now.” She said and suddenly hugged me from the back. CRAP. Can this be really hard?
“You’re going to come back for me. Okay.” I said. She nodded and kissed me in the cheek. Then she just ran away.
I stood there for minute…
Then I heard Miyoung and Chin walking towards me.
“It’s okay D.O,” Chin said and tapped me in the back.
“By the way, I need to go now too. I need to do some house chores.” Chin said while facing Miyoung.
“It’s alright. I’ll..walk D.O home.” Miyoung said. Chin waved goodbye and left.
Miyoung and I stood there silently. She sighed and placed her arm on my shoulders, like what best buddies do.
“It’s going to be alright D.O.” she said while cheering me up. “She’ll miss you too everyday. She cares for you very much.” Miyoung added.
Without a word, I just hugged Miyoung and cried. Oh I’m so stupid. I think she will laugh… But, No. She did not.
After a minute, I don’t know what went to me but I suddenly laughed. Then she laughed too! Haha.
I let go of her and said “I’m sorry if I was like a kid.” “Hahaahahaha. I thought you’ll just cry there the whole day.” She said and placed her arm again on my shoulders. “C’mon. bro. Let’s go home.” She said and we started to walk home. I guess I felt better after that.
