Prologue

Las Vegas - the most populous city in Nevada, famous for its casino resorts and deemed as “The Entertainment Capital of the World” where gamblers from all walks of life meet and deal with their lives at stake.

Choi Hye Yoon, an heiress in one of Korea’s booming industries, the Choi Corporation, is also known as the “Poker Queen” and no one can bluff her when it comes to the world of Poker. It’s as if she lives to play it and will die playing it. She couldn’t spend a day without her dosage of poker chips and cards which often would enrage his younger brother, Choi Seung Hyun as to how her gambling addiction has increased at such a rapid rate. Though she never lost to a poker tournament before, he worries if luck may not come to her side one day and would bring their future to turmoil. 

A good thing about Poker is that it's a game that you can consistently win if you are normally playing with less skilled players but Hye Yoon would rather choose to play with the experts and would risk even her life for the thrill of a sweet victory. She never is afraid to challenge herself to her limits because she believes luck is always on her side until that fateful night.

She was playing her favorite Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament and was getting bored as half of the players were wiped out in the first round. Then two of the players were out in the second round which had only left two opponents to be kicked in their asses. 

‘This ain’t fun..and I thought they were PhD’s in this?’ she thought. ‘That guy keeps on folding..aish what a sore loser’ She was pertaining to a man in a black tuxedo with a red tie who wears rounded sunglasses and a mini Mohawk haircut, in other words mysterious and surprisingly hot. She could say, he’s five inches shorter than her but she is even wearing a 2-inch heeled sandal with gold studs. He is way far being lean despite being short as she can tell by the muscle contours in his arms. ‘An asian eh?’ she confirms as she looks deeper behind the sunglasses that almost hogged his face. He’s got a good set of white teeth as she eyed him more observing his features upon looking at the cards in his hand. He must have noticed her checking on him that he simply made a smirk she found rather y. ‘He seems good’ she further scrutinizes. ‘Raise’ he simply stated as he placed chips while not moving his gaze away from her. ‘Fold’ she says as she slowly closes her pinkish lips to a seductive pout teasing him. The 3rd player made a "Call" and lost the round which lead to the both of them aiming for the jackpot of 2.4 Million US dollars. She can’t wait to get the money as well as get to see his defeat. 

The dealer dealt again and just as she predicted, two high cards were at her hand, the ace and king of hearts. The three cards have been placed which are a king of hearts and two 9 of hearts. ‘a Flush!!’ she inwardly pleased but she only gave a stoic expression as seen by her opponent. 

‘How about we make this more interesting. They say you’re the lady luck and I wanted to prove it.’ came his sudden challenge. ‘Shoot’ she proudly replies ending the word with her seductive pout. ‘I bet my house, my car and myself as your personal servant for a lifetime’ He genuinely smiles.

She finds it amusing. A lifetime slave would be good not to say a good-looking one too. ‘Hmmm.. how about my family’s villa and my car’ She counters. ‘Are you afraid to be my lovely servant, heiress?’ he taunts her. ‘Fine, I’ll be your slave too... IF i will lose’. He smirks while she grins, leaning forward as to emphasize the word “slave” to him which had slightly disturbed him as her cleavage is exposed. ‘Should we make a contract on this sir and madam?’ they both agreed as they signed the contract bound by the rules. 

‘All in’. They betted their all and as the dealer heard their unison gestured them to show their cards. She was bold to let her cards be seen. ‘Flush… I won’ her smile disappeared as he gently shows his card and she finally realized her mistake as there can never be two 9 of hearts and king of hearts in a deck. How come all the red she sees are hearts that she forgot diamond cards are also red? She was only able to form a pair of kings. how was she able to make such a foolish mistake? she flushed in embarrassment and humiliation.
‘I think you only happen to form a pair madam’ the dealer said.
‘Well what do you know, i got a FULL HOUSE!’ he chuckles as he placed his cards which consisted of a king of spades and a king of diamonds while removing his sunglasses allowing her to see his attractive chinky eyes. 

‘I won my princess...’ She wished it all to be a dream as she tried to bit her lip so hard it bleed just to convince herself that its the reality.

‘Sh.it… Seung hyunnie will kill me for this…’ were her last thoughts as all of Las Vegas’ lights went out. 

He couldn't resist to play when he found out that "The Poker Queen" is playing tonight. Just as the rumors say, her title matched that of her beauty as her red tube dress accentuated her natural charm and he is quite caught in her spell as their eyes met. He was remorseful of what he did but he never thought she would give in to his challenge… and he doubted himself that he may fall from is own trap. 
‘Young Bae- ah what have you done?I guess you went overboard...’ He will get a scolding from her younger sister later on for not attending her birthday party but he just got the perfect present for her, her dream villa…
