Darani’s POV

“Beautiful Miss, where would you like to go today?” Sa Eun Ahjusshi, the chauffer asked.

“Ahjusshi, how many times have I told you to not direct me as Miss? Just call me Darani.” I informed.

“Neh… but you never said ‘Beautiful Miss’” Sa Eun Ahjusshi sarcastically said. “Ah,

since you are going to visit your parents today, would you like to stop by anywhere

 before we head out to the countryside?”

“Neh… would Ahjusshi please go to the Bakery and Floral shop? I want to get some flowers…” with little said, the Ahjusshi understood.

Narrator’s POV

He’s been working for Harebulji long before Darani’s lived with them. He’s a very

lively person, full of warmth and smiles. He’s been Grandfather’s confidant, and is

the only other individual whom Darani has really talked to other than her

Grandparents, ajumma Chua and Jouakih.

Myungsoo POV

Halemoni and I have just settled in the car, heading home from the Cha

residence. Those eyes… so beautiful and pure…. Her innocent look…

“What was her name again Myungsoo? Dalami?” Halemoni asked.

“Aniyo.. it’s Darani-ssi…” I answered …

“Ah.. yeh.. it was Darani-ssi…. So.. what does my grandson think about Darani-ssi then?” Halemoni asked.

“Neh?? Ah… She’s polite….” Myungsoo stated around the bush…. But Halemoni knew what was going through my mind…..

“Myungsoo-ah… I’m your Halemoni.. I KNOW what you really think about Darani-ssi..

We’ve been in the car for almost 20 mins, and you’ve been smiling to yourself… and

looking out the window… don’t you also think that this old Halemoni of yours was

also once in love as well?” Halemoni teased.

CAUGHT REDHANDED…

“Neh Halemoni.. Darani-ssi is PRETTY!!” I admitted.

“Aigoo.. Myungsoo my grandson…. You can NEVER hide anything from this INTELLIGENT Halemoni of yours” she joked.

What did I do? BLUSHED….

“You do remember why we were at the Cha residence… right?” Halemoni asked me.

“Ah… Deh… the party for Darani-ssi.. I remember.” Myungsoo answered.

“Of course, why wouldn’t you… you should remember it CLEARLY” Halemoni joked.

“Wae Halemoni…” I embarrassingly pouted.

“Yes. As of now, Mrs. Cha already made previous flower arrangements, all ready for you to help

pick up for DARANI-ssi” Halemoni made sure I heard DARANI loud and clear while getting off the car.

“Aish… Halemoni. Of course I remember well. Why wouldn’t I?”

“Of course… I, your INTELLIGENT HALEMONI understand that you remember helping out with

the flowers… and DARANI-ssi..” Halemoni smirked and headed first inside… Leaving me

dumbfounded… and somewhat in a state called LOVE <3

Author POV

Darani quietly sits in the back of the car… remembering her parents again. Forcing herself to

keep the tears in… she smiled and looked at the picture… Reminded herself once again… “Ani…”

Darani POV

I made my trip to the bakery…. And once again settled in the car… I could feel myself shaking

once again…. “Ani...” I told myself… “Aniyo… Cha Darani will NOT cry today… right Appa and Umma?”

“Darani-ssi, we’re here at the floral shop. Would you like me to pick up the flowers?” Sa Eun

Ahjusshi asked.

Wait… what flowers? I’m pretty sure I have not made an order…

“Omo.. mian… I meant would you like me to go in or wait in the car” Sa Eun Ahjusshi stuttered…

Okay… something seems a little off… but oh well.

“Aniyo. I’ll only take a minute.”

“Neh” Sa Eun Ahjusshi answered. [omo… I ALMOST BLEW IT]

I walked into the floral shop, and noticed the different shades of pinks scattered among the

flowers. but… they were boxed in a fashion ready for delivery…

“Omo, Darani-ssi, you’re here” the ajumma surprisingly looked at me.

Something is really going on… should I phone Halemoni?

“Oh… ne. I wanted to stop by to…” but before I could finish, the ajumma cut me off, asking “Your

Halemoni couldn’t have sent you to pick up the flowers she ordered from earlier this week for…”

Before I could answer, the door swung open and there was a very familiar voice…

“Mianhae. Those are mine I believe.”

Omo… that voice sounds so familiar… I turned to look at who it was…

“Omo.. Darani-ssi?” the guy asked me.

“Deh.. I’m Cha Darani, and you are?” I asked. When have I ever met him? I don’t

know him... But he does look very, very familiar…

Myungsoo POV

I walked in just in time to find another person in the shop… wait, I just passed the

very familiar car… wait, what? It was from the Cha residence.. could it be that..

aish… I’m so gonna get it…

“Mianhae. Those are mine I believe.” I said just in time before the floral shop

ajumma went on explaining any further.

The lady turned around and those beautiful eyes gazed into mine once again…

“Omo.. Darani-ssi?” I asked.

“Deh.. I’m Cha Darani, and you are?” she questioned.

“Kim Myungsoo. I just met you not too long ago…” I told her.

Darani POV

But I’m not a social person… when and where did I meet this handsome Kim Myungsoo?

“Ah.. I must have forgotten.” I admitted.

Myungsoo POV

Wait… so she doesn’t remember me? Well… guess we can start this from FIRST

SIGHT again…

“Well Darani-ssi… if you’ve forgotten… do you mind calling this our FIRST time

MEETING?”
