Human in the world of Assiah, Beast (Vampire and Werewolf) in Gehenna. The two dimensions are not meant to interfere with each other.But one day the two dimensions had clashed together. The humans who can fight these Beast are known as exorcists. Zero Nakagawa is a boy who bears the curse of being the ChessPiece (a person who holds the spirit of a werewolf , Vampire , God and Human). His foster father sacrificed himself to save him from the Beast. To avenge his foster father's death as well as to prove himself, Zero decides to follow the path of an exorcist. Later it leads to a War between the 7 kings or queens that are specially choosen from both dimensions by the Grail ( a God ). The winner of the war shall get one wish from the Grail and the Grail will make it come true.
