Love's Signs
To clear things up, Min Jee decided to talk to Xander.
-AT THE EUSEBIO'S ROOFTOP-
*Your POV*
"Listen Xander, I -"
"What, don't you love me?"
"No! It's just that -"
"That you what?"
"Let me finish okay! Look, I love you, but only as a brother. As a friend. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't want our friendship to be ruined just because of this. So let's stay friends, okay?"
"But friends can turn into lovers, right?"
"Yeah but... No. Please Xander."
"Whatever you say, I won't give up. Just please, give me a chance and I'll prove myself."
"I... I can't do this. I value our friendship too much. Can't we just be together without anything going on between us?"
"I've been keeping my feelings for long. I can't give up now. Please Min Jee, let me love you."
"*sigh* I don't want to hurt you. Stop. You can't expect anything from me."
"I don't care. I know you'd change your mind when you have learn to love me."
"Fine."
And with that, I left the rooftop to change into my PJs and went to sleep.

*beep beep*
I picked up my phone and stared at my clock. 4:30 AM. Who could be calling at this hour?!
"Yeoboseyo?" I said in a groggy voice.
"Yah."
Familiar voice.
"Who's this?"
"Cut the crap Min Jee-ah." . Dongho.
"What the hell Dongho?! Ugh."
"Just checking if you're okay."
"What? You called to see if I'm okay?! Well I'm fine until you disturbed my sleep, thank you very much!" I said in a soft but angry tone.
"Nah just kidding. I called to tell you that I'm picking you up now."
"What? Where are we -"
"Be ready. I hate waiting. Bye."
"But -" I wanted to protest but it's too late. What is up with that guy?!?! Ahhh really.
I went down to wash my face and change into my typical clothes. Skinny jeans and a shirt. I decided to grab my hoodie since it's too cold to go outside at this hour.
*HONK HONK*
Well that was fast.
"Yah, keep it down will you? You might wake everyone up!"
"Hop in already, will you?"
"Fine." I pouted. I went inside his car and we went going.
"Where are we going anyways?" I asked him.
"Anywhere I want. I can't sleep so I decided to bug you." He smirked.
"Mwoh? Why you little piece of crap." I mumbled.
"Say what?"
"I said -"
"Lalala I hear nothing." He shook his head playfully.
"Ughhhh Shin Dongho!!!"
"What? I'm too cute to handle, right?" He grinned.
"Whatever you say, loser."
After that, there was silence. I hummed the lullaby my mother used to sing to me when I can't sleep.
"That sounds beautiful." Dongho whispered.
"Say what?"
"Nothing."
"Oh." We continued driving until we arrived at a coffee-ice cream shop.
"Hey this looks familiar..."
"That's because you had your date with your guy here." I could've sworn he frowned but he quickly erased it. Wait. My guy?
"Ugh. He is not my "guy". He's my bestfriend." I said after realizing he meant Xander when he said "my guy".
"Really? Then why did he kissed you?" He said with an angry tone. Wait. Was he angry? Or hurt?
"What kiss? He didn't kissed me!!!"
"I saw it with my own eyes. Don't deny it Min Jee-ah."
"Oh come on. You've misunterstood it. ANd why the hell are you mad, huh?" I was now angry.
"Because..."
"Because what? Huh?"

"Wait a sec, I need to get this." Oh good. I need this to keep me from saying that I like you.
"Yeoboseyo? Eh????? Really? Ahhh!!!! I'm excited!!! Okay! Bye!" I put down the phone.
"Who was that?"
"An old friend of mine."
She replied with an "oh" forming . Awww she's so cute.
Oh god, here I go again. No Dongho, no.
"Sooo why were you angry a wh-"
"No sorry gotta prepare for something. Let's go home!" I hurriedly grabbed the keys to stop her from asking.
"Ugh stop cutting me out Dongho!"
"Yah. Do you want to go home or not?!"
"Oh fine!!!!! I'll just walk my way home! Sheeesh!"
"Hey I'm just kidding! Come on." I held her hand and lead her to my car.
"Why the hell are you holding my hand?!"
"Oh no. Don't get me wrong. I don't like you." Or do I?

"Oh no. Don't get me wrong. I don't like you." He said in a tone I can't understand. I just rolled my eyes at his words. I feel... I don't know. Was I hurt at what he said? No, I can't be. I mean, I don't like him, do I? I feel confused.
