Next Day ..... 

 

Thal's POV

Like yesterday, I decided to go to the library again. 

Not because I'm expecting Kai, but because I have to read and think.

This time, I ate breakfast and brought my own jacket. 

On my way, I saw someone I was the least expecting to meet... Kai. 

"To the library again?" he asked as he walked beside me. 

I nodded. 

Why's he waking up early? 

We were just silent until we reached the gates. 

"Have you thought about it already?" he asks. 

"Not yet, I need the library to think." I said. 

"You don't really want to do this, do you?" 

I stayed quiet. 

"I don't.... know" was all I replied. 

We reached the library and now I know why he wakes up so early. 

He sleeps here. 

It's always so comfortable to sleep in the library. 

I sat on my corner and opened the book I got yesterday.

If I don't agree to this whole acting thing, then I'm gonna be dead. Especially now that I'm alone. I have no one with me. 

How can I even defend myself knowing that I'm a twig. 

Aishm why didn;t I think about my actions anyways?

I should have threw or left that jacket. Why did I think it was a blessing? Curses. 

Girls here are so crazed about him, even I think I do too. 

And because of my responses to her yesterday, who knows what she'll do. 

And, if I do, Kai, he can protect me. And that's worth more than a million reasons why I should agree to it. 

He can protect me.. 

.....

Finally, I'm finish with the book. 

And I feel drowsy again. 

"So have you thought about it already?" 

Oh, he's awake. 

"Yeah I did." and yawned. 

I rubbed my chin. 

Before I knew it, he has already sat beside me. 

"I'm gonna do it." I said. 

"Seriously?" 

I nodded. 

He rubbed the back of his head. 

"So, the rules?" 

"Since it will just be an act we're still allowed to mingle with others." 

I made that rule for him since I know he doesn't really like me like I do. 

"Got it," 

"Protect me," 

That's for me. 

He nodded. 

"Anything else?" he asked. 

"Yeah, the last one." 

I looked at him. 

"We can't fall inlove with each other." 

He looked at me. Maybe thinking that I'm nuts. 

"Ofcourse." he said.

"So, I'm gonna sleep now. My eyes are drooping." I leaned my head and closed my eyes and eventually, I slept. 

 

Kai's POV 

And so she agreed. 

I'm kinda confused with rule number 3. 

"We can't fall inlove with each other" 

But, she has already fallen inlove with me. I somewhat found it funny.

The whole Protect Me thing is for her sake. 

I can see it in her tone that she desperately need it. 

The first rule, I;m sure it was for me. 

I think she knows I don't fine her as a girlfriend. 

At least, I'm still somewhat free.. to explore. 

It's getting boring. I'm still sleepy though. 

I yawned. 

I gently placed her head on my lap. 

I sighed. 

Luhan would really love her. 

 

.... 

"Kai." someone whispered. 

I groaned. 

"Kai." someone shooked me. 

"Leave me, I'm sleeping." I replied. 

"Come on, we're gonna be late." 

Then I bumped somene's forehead. 

"Hey are you alright?" I asked as I rubbed her forehead. 

"Yaaaah." she said. 

"Are we really late?" I asked. 

"Nope, I don't know any things to wake you up so I just sort of thought of that and.. it worked." 

"So, since it's our first day, let's go together?" I asked her. 

"Yeah sure." 

And we both got up. 

"You know, there's something missing here." I said just as we were walking in the hallway. 

"What's.. missing?" she asked.

"Your name." 

She smiled. 

"It's Thal."

"Okay, everything's complete. Wanna meet my friends?" I suggested. 

"\Before she can answer, I got her hand and headed to the benches. 

And, they were there. 

"Wait here." I told her and headed to my boys. 

"Guys, she's here." I told them. 

"Who's here?" Chanyeol asked. 

"Her." I said as I pointed to where Thal was and she was siitting cross legged on one of the benches staring into the sky. 

"Wow,"  Luhan said. 

I looked at him and he was starring at her. 

"Uhm... Luhan, is there something you want to tell me?" I asked him. 

Maybe some few warnings. 

"What? Why?" he said. 

"Nothing, it's just that, the way you stare at her.." 

"Naah, I'm not thinking that. I'm thinking of something else." he said. 

I don't really get it, but who cares, Luhan can have her. But I was expecting of Luhan seeing her as a sister. 

"Call her hyung,!" Luhan said with excitement. 

"What's with all the excitement?" Sehun asked him. 

"Nothing." Luhan said continuing to stare at her. 

She isn't doing anything much, just the same thing she did awhile ago. 

Then, our eyes met. 

She just smiled at me. 

I smiled back and looked at Luhan. 

Well, my boy's inlove. 

I headed to Thal and urged her to go to my boys. 

"HI!!" Luhan greeted with excitement. 

Thal smiled. 

She seems shy. 

"Aww, don't be shy. We're.. friends" Baekhyun said. 

Cheese is in the aiiir. 

"I'm Baekhyun, he's Chanyeol, Then Luhan and Sehun" Baekhyun said while pointing to each of them. 

"I'm Thal." she said smiling and I noticed her fingers were playing. 

"How old are you?" Luhan asked. 

Before she can answer, He immediately changed the question. 

"When's your birthday?" 

"January 14." she answered. 

We're the same. That surprised me. 

"Omo, you have the same birthdate with Kai!" Luhan exclaimed. 

"Really?" Thal asked. 

He nodded. 

I smiled. 

 

Thal's POV 

His friends seems so nice and harmless. 

I like Luhan the most. Childish  and cute. 

Like a brother. 

"Ugh, Hey Luhan." I asked him as I tugged his jacket, 

"What is it?" he asked. 

"Do you have a sister?" 

I don't really like my plan. 

"Nope." 

"Do you.... want one?" I asked him and our eyes met. 

"Yes" 

"Can I be her?" I hopefully asked. 

"Ofcourse." he answered. 

I'm the happiest girl in the world. 

He then hugged me. 

"I'm sooo happpy." I whispered. 

"So am I." he whispered back. 

"Ya, Luhan. That's Kai's." Baekhyun said which broke the hug. 

"What? We're just hugging." Luhan said. 

"Hugging, Just hugging?" Sehun said. 

"Aish, you're the one with the green minds. It was just a friendly hug." Luhan defended. 

"You guys, it's just alright. We agreed that we're still allowed to see other people. It's part of the rules." Kai said from behind. 

"Rules? There are rules?"  Chanyeol asked. 

You know, 

Chanyeol is pretty weird. 

I mean, he's goodlooking and all. Really goodlooking. 

He's so cute. He looks like a puppy. 

But when you hear him, My god. 

His voice is so deep. Too deep. Way deeper than the Mariana Trench. 

Okay, I'm in hyperbole mode but really, his voice is just deep. It doesn't at all resemble his face.

And Sehun, 

Well, he doesn't smile a lot. 

But  he still looks good even without smiling. 

Baekhyun has that umma in him. 

`He's soo bubbly. 

I smiled as I tucked my bangs behind my ear. 

"Right Thal?" Kai asks me. 

What? What's right? Was I gone for too long?

"Ofcourse" I absently answered. 

What the friggin hell were they talking about??? 

AND, 

Why didn't I ask??? 

"You both agreed with the rules?" Baekhyun aks. 

Oh, the rules. I thought what. 

"Yup. Just awhile ago." I answered while nodding. 

"Noona, are you sure?" Luhan asks me, his eyes straight to mine. 

And I felt it again. 

The tingly feeling and also the feeling that I have known him a long ago. 

Like, I've been attached to those eyes for so long. 

But how? I'm so sure I haven'tmet him before. 

I smiled as I shooed away the thought. 

"Ofcourse" I replied. 

I pinched his nose playfully, 

"Ahhhhh, nooona." he complains as he rubs his nose. 

I chuckled. 

If only I had a brother like him.

"You two really seem to be fond with each other" Kai said as he got near to where we were staying with Luhan. 

I smiled. 

Yeah, we really are fond of each other. 

"That;s good you know. I wasn't really expecting it, but you'll come great in pair" 

"Pair? Hyung, what do you mean, 'pair'?" Luhan asks as he made those air gestures. 

"Pair, like lovers." Kai said using the 'DUH' tone. 

"Ahhh, no wonder your looks were accusing. We aren't like that Kai. Infact, we call each other siblings." I told him. 

"Ahhh, so... Aish.. Now I get it. Well, I think I'm of no use anymore. You finally found a noona. Hyung isso happy for you." Kai said as he diverted his eyes to Luhan. 

"Aish, you're still my...." Luhan paused for awhile and.....

Did the bbuingbbuing aegyo whil saying "Oppa" 

OHMYGOSH. That was soo cute. 

I think all of us saw that and they all laughed while I bit my lip. 

"Kyaaaaaaaaa. My baby's soo cute." I told Luhan as I pinched his cheek while continuing to bite my lip.
