Fanfiction Peeves

Description

Welcome, young, old and the immortal to a ranting session. Come, take a seat, make yourself comfy and relax. You like that tea, don't you? It's green tea - I like it too. Could use with some chocolate though.

Not a fanfic, but a place where my friend and I put all our complaints on fanfics. This is just our opinions so don't take every thing too seriously. We're not bashing anyone and sometimes we  I may be a hypocrites, but my fanfics aren't perfect either. (LOL Mel's kidding she's a fantastic author.)

This is written by both of us, which usually means Mel (kpopheart) will state things logically and I (eseech) will start and end her complaints with little mindless comments and constantly sarcastic and unneeded referencing. So all those weird flowering moments of 'children' and 'darling' are more often than not written by me. TL;DR - Mel writes all the good stuff, I ruin it by peppering awkward phrases.

Foreword

Now that we've caught your attention, please do sit down. Make yourself comfortable. You might be here for awhile.

Or maybe you're already thinking about leaving - don't go yet. You haven't got past the foreword.

You might spend a few minutes, or a few hours. Stay here, criticise, comment and subscribe. Have some more tea and lie down while you flicker through the constant ramblings and beautifully scuplted thoughts of me and my friend respectively. Careful - don't slip. The floor hurts. We don't have a lot of money. It's not very clean either.

Maybe you should bring a chair the next time you come. I hope you do. Maybe a table too. We need a table. Come to think of it - we need a lot of things. Like a lamp. I hope you can read in the dark.

Hey i think your advice is good :D this rant was interesting to read:) the interactive part is pretty fun as well:) & erm, forgive me for being slow and all, but what is TL;DR? O.o

Oh my goodness.. dudes.. I have fallen in love with you both. Wae, wae are you both thinking the same things as me? This has not only made me smile big time, but also gave me some advice! I space a little too much, and what you said, "Quality, not quantity!", has helped me so much. Keep going with your rants! I've agreed with everything you've said so far, and I'm pretty sure I'll agree with you on basically everything. Also, when people spell wrong.. I just wanna faint. Seriously? If you aren't sure how to spell something, Google it. That always helps for me. Anywho.. keep on ranting! I shall support you endlessly.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think I love you :D
One thing I think you should point out is stories where Grammar and Spelling have been killed and their cousin txtspeak is dancing on their graves. Seriously, is it that hard to write 'you' instead of 'u'?

I don't think I've found any stories with too much spacing . But if I run into one, I'm going to be pissed.

erm, i've gt smt to say.. i love ur stories and read most of them ady. but wad i want to say is dat, everybody have their own ways and methods of writing. and since dis is fanfiction, everybody cn make up stories with their own imaginations. even if their stories are abit weird, thr will still b ppl supporting their stories. i srsly dn tink thr's any need for u to comment abt the ways of their writing. so wad if their writngs are cute and so unrealostic? it's fanfiction isn't it? in the first place, it's nt even suppose to be realistic. if u dn like any stories den u cn juz ignore it. y muz u even start dis ranting thing? the way u're criticising on other's stories, do u den tink u're a veh professional writer?

And if ~~sigh~~ is meant to make it look cute, it really doesn't. It sounds immature and childish. If someone is sighing right in front of my face, I don't go 'Aww how cute!', I go 'What's your problem now?' Reminds me of Vicky XD

And did Jen write all of this? =]

And for the last chapter about their English, you can suggest them to ask for co-authors who have English as their first language and are able to edit the fanfic for them ^.^
