This Sweetness
Description
Friendship is sweet, but love is bitter. It’s better to live in friendship, though when one day you find out your true feelings, there’s no turning back to the innocent and pure friendship anymore.
Foreword
Daehyun was so excited to see you again.
As you pull your luggage into the new yet familiar house you once live in, Daehyun pops in front of you and smiles. He helps you carry your black leather suitcase into your old room. Also rushing back to help your father and older brother bring in the larger furniture.
“Welcome back.” He says.
“Thanks for managing and arranging everything in this house while my family and I were gone.” You reply.
“No problem at all.” Daehyun simply grins. He follows you to your room, which now is accompanied by his laptop and various books. “You don’t mind me putting some stuff in here do you? I like spending time in your room.” He quickly adds. “Memoires.” You shake your head to show that you don’t mind. You trace your finger along the wall. He must have painted your room before you came back. The walls are flawless.
Later, as your family settles back into the house, Daehyun stays with you in your room. The night sky in the country side is so ever dreamy; the stars shine bright through your large window.
Your room is quite big; it’s a traditional Japanese tatami style room. You sleep on the wooden floor with a mattress and some warm, large blankets. There’s also a bed that you seldom use. Beside the bed, there are two computers, yours and Daehyun’s. He’s helping you clean your suitcase, but now he sits in front of a wall, minding something else.
The hot tray of food sit still on the desk table, the steam stays ablaze in the night air, swaying to the beat of the song coming from the music player. Right now, Daehyun’s busy sticking stuff on a side of the creamy white wall.
“What are you doing Dae?” You pull the thick feather blanket around you tighter. It’s still pretty chilly during spring here.
“Pictures.” He continues to paste little square photos on your wall. Then, he sneezes. You glance at the clothes he has on: Shorts and a short sleeve T-shirt. Automatically, you take a step down from the mattress to sit beside Daehyun in front of the wall, and you wrap the blanket around the two of you.
Struggling to pull the blanket around both of you evenly, he circles his arm around your back and urges you to get closer. With that, you hug his waist and lean on his shoulder. He evens out the blanket to cover the two of you and retrieves his arm from under the warmth of the blanket and continues pasting the photos—of you and his childhood.
You were excited to see Daehyun again, too.
A/n: Since I'm about to finish a story, I'm going to start a new one that I've had in mind for quite some time already. I also completed a story today! Yay! ^^ I really want this story to be a good one, to be one of the best ones I've written, because Daehyun's awesome. Only because of that! Haha. I've always had a problem with contiuning or updating a story, but I'm trying to pass that barrier and finish stories! Complete all the ones I have on hand.
