Chapter .3

[taemin's pov]

I turned around with my mouth wide open, “You have got be kidding me”

She looked at me with a blank face, “No why would I?”

We just stood with blank faces staring at each other, but our staring completion soon came to a halt when someone opened the door of the house we were staring in front of. Minji immediately turned around and blocked me; I took this as a sign to hide and quickly spotted a tree on the front lawn.

I ran behind it and took small glances at her to see if she was done talking to her friend, I then suddenly her voice, it boomed through out the entire front lawn

“a garage you say?” she shouts, “ohh it has good reception you think”.

I chuckled at her way of letting me know and deicide to take a peak again, I notice no one is on the front porch and quickly begin to panic.

“Looking for me” I hear a voice behind me, I jump and turn around my back hitting the trunk of the tree.

“Don’t ever do that again” I say hearing her chuckle, “You think its funny giving Lee Taemin a heart attack” I add clenching my heart.

“my mistake your royal highness” she says and bows pretending to hold her skirt.

I frown at her childish remarks.

“Do you want me to take you to the garage or not” she says already leaving me at the tree

“right behind you”, we walk for less then a minute and reach a rather shabby looking building. She led the way and we walked around the inside of the building examining the area.

I took out my phone and began wavering it in the air trying to find reception; I kept walking and making weird poses.

I glanced over at Minji and let out a sign of relief when I noticed she wasn’t paying attention to me.

beep beep

“oooo” I almost shouted when my phone showed bars of service, I quickly stayed in that position and tired calling my manger

“Taemin where in the hell are you, do you know how many time I called and left messages” he said all in one breathe once he picked up my call.

“Sorry hyung, I just found reception, but I don’t think I’ll be back until later”

“Why is that, where are you?”

“Not really sure” I said putting my left foot down because it was starting to ache.

“Taemin you have got to be kidding me”

“It’s fine hyung, I’m with Minji, and I’ll just come back with her when we leave, I’m in this garage”

The other line was slient for a moment,

“You’re with who?” he asked again

“Gong Minji”

“And why are you two together in a garage?”

“I can only find reception here, I told you hyung its hard to find reception here, freaking forest”

“Who are you talking to?” I hear Minji walking towards me.

“So your telling me, you and Ms. Gong Minji are in a remote place with no reception and that you already tell me before hand you’ll be late??” he says snickering in the last words.

“Well ya-, wait a minute, hyung! I and she aren’t going out!!!” I basically shout and losing balance

“Tae-e-e-mii-n” I hear his voice distorting and I quickly start jumping up and down and sticking my feet in the air trying to get reception again

“Hyung, hyung” but the phone dials out and all I hear is the beep sound.

“Oh great”

“Were not going out” Minji says blinking

“I know that”

“Is that what your hyung thinks?”

I nod, I check the time and realize it’s already 6pm.

I gasp and turn to face Minji, “When are you even planning to leave?” I ask

“I plan to sleep over” she says

My face freezes in shock.

“No no no no, that can’t happen, I can’t be gone from the dorm overnight, especially now that the manager thinks you and I- are- “ I point to her and back at me

“dating?” she finishes off

I nod, she frowns and walks back and forth in the dusty garage.

“The only you’d get home before midnight is if I deicide to go home and call someone to pick me up” she says still pacing back and froth.

I nod, agreeing to her plan

“But I can’t, I haven’t seen my friend in 8 months and this is the only day I get to sleep over and hang out with her” she adds.

I hold my head in place and look directly in the eye,

“please minji-ah, this is the first favor I ever asked of you” I hold my hands in a praying format and pout my lips

“this is the first time we met” she says her posture not shaken by my actions.
