Tuesday morning,

The loud sound of the alarm from the phone echoed through the whole room playing History. Baekhyun lazily made his way to the bathroom and took a bath.

"Let's see.. what's on my to do list today?" He browsed through his notebook were he listed places that he would visit on his stay in Tokyo. "Shibuya maybe? Shopping? Tokyo tower? or maybe I should go climb mount Fuji for some physical excercise." He chuckled at his last thought which was completely interrupted by the sound of his phone ringing.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Bacon oppa!"

Baekhyun flinched from the loud voice coming from the phone, he glanced at the id number 'unknown number' then he finally remembered. So it really wasn't a nightmare huh.

"Ji Ae?"

"Ah yes! You remembered me!"

"Ofcourse I would. You're that pretty model I met yesterday." 

 "Oh, you're not calling me a highschool girl anymore. That's good."

 "Sorry, I know you'll miss the petty nickname I gave you but I won't call you that anymore." Baekhyun said. Ji Ae heard soft chuckles through the phone, "After all, you're my girlfriend now."

 "Ah—" Jiae's heart skipped a beat. She breathed deeply as she gripped her phone tightly into her ears. Shouldn't he be getting mad at me for forcing him into this?

"Are you still there?"

Jiae nodded but then she forgot that she was talking on the phone, "Yeah."

"Oh right, what made you call?"

 "About that, I was wondering if you could fetch me later in school." You'd say no right? After all I'm being demanding and all.. this should be annoying enough.

 "Sure."

"Wha—"

"In exchange, will you go with me somewhere later?"

"What?" Jiae repeated"

 "I was planning to go to Mount Fuji for some adventure." Baekhyun laughed.

"WHAT?!" 

"Stop saying what so dramatically, I was just kidding. Actually I wanted to go to Tokyo tower.. how about it? Will you go with me?"

"I'll go." Jiae lowered her head while trying to stop her smile from getting wider than it already is.

"Great, what time and where should I fetch you?"

 "3 in the afternoon infront of T-University."

 "Got it. I'll see you later, yeo-chin!"

Jiae almost chocked on her own spit after hearing some cheesy remarks from Baekhyun, "Don't call me that! Too cheesy!"

"Why not? aren't you my yeo-chin?" Baekhyun teased with his irresistably charming voice. "I figure I'd call you that since I can't call you highschooler anymore."

Ji Ae couldn't help but feel timid inside all of a sudden. Baekhyun's words was just too much for her to handle. She did dated a lot of boys before and even now but Baekhyun really is different. Everything is different. From the way he handles and blends in with my personality to the words he says to me. This guy sure is used to girls, that's one thing for sure.

"Yah, i'm hanging up. Classes are about to start."

"I'll see you later, study well!"

"Nn."

He hanged up. Ugh I said I was the one who was gonna hung up!

The frown on Jiae's face slowly disappeared as she stared at her phone. Mrs. Kim, their homeroom teacher came in and told everyone to get back to their proper seats and keep all their gadgets and phones away. Usually Jiae would just simply toss it to her side or inside her bag but for some reasons, today she couldn't. She placed it under her desk incase someone would contact her.

Classes had ended. Jiae hurried off to pack her things so she could go meet up with the person who managed to stay in her mind for the whole day. She was about to head out of the room but someone blocked her way.

"Jiae, you're not answering my calls anymore."

She simply brushed him off but he yanked her arms causing for her to fall into his arms.

"Stop ignoring me!"

"Are you that dense? Can't you see I don't want to talk to you anymore?" She yelled at him.

"You—you don't even trust me enough huh."

"I gave you one last chance and you wasted it. It's over Daehyun."

"So that's how it is, deciding to break up all on your own and even ignoring me." Daehyun tightened his grip on her wrists but he let's go after seeing the pained expression on Jiae's face. 

"Fine! I didn't even took you seriously!" He spat at her. Daehyun was too frustrated to even bother filtering his words even if he didn't mean to say half of them. "You don't have any heart at all do you? Are you finally happy that you're getting rid of me just like what you did with the others?" 

It kept on echoing. I wanted to answer him back but I knew myself that arguing with him wouldn't do me nor him any good so I just remained silent and ignored him like it didn't matter at all.

As soon as Jiae stepped out of the school building her whole composure was shattered. JiAe almost burst into tears but she stopped when she saw a familiar looking person standing by the gate.

"Bacon.." she muttered. He approached her with smiles beaming while waving his hands.

Jiae walked towards him lifelessly.

"What's the matter? Are'nt you excited for our first date?" Baekhyun teased.

Jiae rolled her eyes as she waved her hand back and forth, "Date? Oh right, you're my boyfriend. I forgot I had one." 

Baekhyun looked at her in disbelief. "Yah, aren't you extra mean today." He pouted.

"I know, I'm heartless after all."

"What?"

'What is she suddenly saying? She's acting weird.'

Just then, JiAe's ex-boyfriend came out of the school gate and saw them together. Baekhyun pointed at him but he saw the bitter reaction of Jiae that made him stop, she probably saw him too. Baekhyun watched as Daehyun walked past them but Daehyun's eyes were completely glued to Jiae, I know it so. He just couldn't look away with that sad expression of his.

"Are you alright? Did something happen between you and you're—"

"Don't even say it!"

Jiae and Baekhyun stood there awkwardly, he didn't have any idea how to approach her now. When she saw that Daehyun had left, she tugged on the sleeves of Baekhyun's shirt and leaned on his back. She was trying to hide it but Baekhyun could already tell she was crying.

"Are you sad that you broke up with him? Do you want to get back together?" He asked without moving an inch.

"N-no, it's not that."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure." She nodded then backed away as she wiped her eyes. 

"Then tell me, why are you crying?" Baekhyun's gentle approach made Jiae even more timid, he was about to reach for her but Jiae stopped him.

"Please, don't get involve with me too much, otherwise we'll be violating the contract."

"Who cares about that damn contract? You should see yourself right now. You're far from being in good shape, you're emotionally damaged. I just want to help.."

All those words were like a big slap to Jiae, everything he said was right but she couldn't risk it. Not with him, not with a mere stranger.

"I'm very sorry for making you worried." She wiped the tears with the back of her hand, took out a pack of tissue and blew her nose and after that her smiling face came back.

"Jiae will you—" 

"Let's go, we wasted enough time here already."

'I know she doesn't want to talk about it since I'm just a stranger to her but seeing her like this hurts me too even if it's just a little'

"Yah, Bacon! Let's go!"

'Ahh that's right, she doesn't even know my real name. Were just mere strangers with a fake relationship.'

With that, Baekhyun nodded and followed her lead.

Jiae was finally back to her normal self, being childish and all but Baekhyun still can't get over the fact that they're together yet she still doesn't want to talk about any of it. 

'The only thing I could do now.. is to make her smile and forget..'

"Jiae shii." Baekhyun called out.

Jiae looked back and furrowed her eyebrows. "What's with the sudden honorifics?"

"Nothing." He shook his head and finally smiled again,"Where do you wanna go?"

"Mount Fuji?"

"What?!" Baekhyun asked in shock.

"I thought you said you wanted to go there?"

"That was a joke, did you take that seriously?" Baekhyun chuckled. Jiae showed no emotion at all and just looked at him.

'Is it really wrong for me to take things seriously? Is this what I've been lacking all this time?'

Jiae was back in a state of daze that made Baekhyun worry even more, "Let's go to Shibuya, I wann do some shopping." He grabbed Jiae's hands swiftly and dragged her away, 'Her hands..are shaking.'

"Hey." Baekhyun squeezed her hand lightly that made her flinch.

"Geez don't surprise me like that, what's wrong?"

"Why do I feel like everyone's looking at us?"

'Eh could it be that i'm popular already even before debuting? hahaha! Or am I just too handsome to look at?'

"Look! Isn't that Jung JiAe?!"

"Aigooo! She looks so young! So different from her pictures!"

"She's a real beauty! Should we ask for authographs?"

A group of guys murmured, obviously Jiae didn't show any interests in them. She gripped my hand tightly as she walked faster dragging me to a less crowded place. I even caught sight of some people taking photos of us.

'Uh oh, this is definitely bad news.'

"Is that her new boyfriend? Oh he look's good doesn't he!"

"Eh, what happened to the last one?"

"Who cares! This guy is totally handsome!"

"Did they broke up already? Wow seems to be the last guy was the one who lasted the longest!"

"Don't mind them, Bacon. They're just rumors." was what Jiae said. But isn't half of it true? When we finally found a quiet place were there was less people we decided to settle down.

"Let's seat here for awhile, im kinda tired of running away.." she breathed.

"Wow, your quite popular. Almost all the people we passed by knows you and your billboards, just—wow."

"I got so popular because of the company i'm working at. They're known all over Tokyo too."

"I think your popular because of your efforts and not the company's doing." Baekhyun tapped her head gently and smiled. "Do me a favor and stop looking down on yourself okay?"

'Perhaps, did he notice?'

"What are you talking about?" JiAe brushed his hand away and faced the other direction.

"Why don't you try telling me some of your problems, it is better than bottling it all up to yourself you know."

"You won't understand."

"Try me." Baekhyun showed her an assuring smile. The seriousness on his face made her want to give in.

"If i didn't lent you money and we'd still meet.. would you still think i'm a nice person?"

"What kind of question is that?" Baekhyun broke in laughter which made Jiae flustered.

"You said you'd listen! Just answer already!"

"I know, I did say i'd listen, but I did'nt say that I would answer a nonsense question like that now did I ?"

"Whatever. You really won't understand anyway."

'That's right. He doesn't understand. He's a clueless bacon who only talks to me because he owes me money..'

"Hey, does all this talk have something to do about you crying earlier?"

"Huh?"

"That guy earlier— you were crying because of him right? No matter how much you deny it, it's obvious. Ji Ae, tell me the reason why you cried.. so I could understand you more."

'He saw right through me..'

"I could trust you, right?" JiAe gripped her hands together tightly while facing down.

"Trust me." He held out his hand and she took it.

"The matter about my break up with Daehyun is one of the reaons why I was crying but just to make things clear, I don't have any feelings left for him." Baekhyun looked at her sternly as if asking if she was saying the truth.

"It's just that, I felt really guilty, mad, frustrated about everything. He said some mean things to me and I— I don't know, it just hit me so I cried. I don't blame him entirely though, it was my stubborness that this happened. I provoked him that's why he said those mean things."

"Well, well, aren't you a masochist."

Jiae hit Baekhyun's shoulder so hard that made him shut up.

"I'm kidding." Baekhyun cleared his throat, "So his word's matter right? If it didn't then it wouldn't have affected you like this."

"It did. Afterall, he was my boyfriend. He's rich, popular, and people said we were the perfect match but I couldn't see it. You can say that I lacked effort in our relationship but that's how I was. He confessed to me, and I just said yes without even confirming my feelings so— yes it's partly my fault." Jiae did a looooong sigh as she sat with her head leaning backwards.

"I'm a heartless jerk. I didn't even think about his feelings, he was serious—"

"Feeling better now?" Baekhyun asked.

"Why are you smiling?" Jiae pinched Baekhyun's cheeks, :Ow ow! I take it back! You're a sadist!"

"You're girlfriend is having a terrible dilemma and you're just sitting there smiling."

"But you have to admit, letting it all out is much better right?"

Jiae nodded in defeat, "Thank you."

"You should atleast end it with him properly, Jiae. It's the proper thing to do."

"Yeah, thank you."

"You said thank you twice." Baekhyun chuckled. "Good work yeochin!"

"I told you to stop calling me that!"

"I will if you'd show me that pretty smile of yours." Baekhyun stood up and offered her his hand, "Shall we go?" Jiae who was as flustered as ever took Baekhyun's hands while covering her face with the handbag she was holding.

'Damnit Bacon, you're so sly!'

"Hey.." she tugged onto his hands, Jiae pulled him gently towards him. "This is the last time I will probably say this so listen," Baekhyun couldn't help but laugh, he decided to go with the flow and held both of Jiae's hands while facing her.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you, for listening to me and everything else." She gave him one earnest smile that made him smile back in awe. 

"Jiae, don't you dare fall for me you hear?"

"Ha! Is that a joke?" Jiae raised her eyebrows in a cunning manner. "I would never—"

"By the way, you can call me Baekhyun from now on."

"Huh? B-baekhyun... is that your real name?"

He nodded and smiled.

'It feels much more comfortable now that we've opened up to eachother. She trusted me so maybe I should try trusting her too.. right?'

"But why tell me this now?"

Baekhyun shrugged, "Maybe it's because I trust you." he chuckled as he continued walking with their hands swaying together.

'Byun Baekhyun really is one sly Bacon! How dare you warn me not to fall in love with you! You're a big idiot!

Feeling's can't be stopped.'
