“Nice work today guys,” EXO-M’s manager told each and one of them as they entered the van. Tao entered the van before Kris and sat down beside Xiumin. Kris walked up to the door and frowned at the last spot for him which was beside their manager. He let out a breath of annoyance and hopped into the van beside their manager.

All members were too tired to have a conversation with each other throughout the whole ride back home. Once the van pulled to a stop, Kris hurriedly opened the door and walked off stuffing his hands into his pant. The rest of the crew followed suit.

Kris made his way into his shared room with Luhan and pulled out his pajamas from the closet. He slammed the door and stomped his way out of the room into the hall to use the restroom first.

“I got first dibs for shower!” Chen called as he ran into the hallway but bumped into Kris on the way, “ow...hyung,” Chen said while rubbing his . Kris frowned at Chen, grunted something under his breath, and walked off. Chen watched as EXO-M’s leader walked into the restroom and slammed the door.

Tao walked up to Chen and helped him up onto his feet, “Are you okay hyung?” Tao asked Chen and he nodded but pointed to the restroom door,” something is wrong with Kris, he looked mad,” Chen told the taller man.

“Mad?” Tao asked and Chen nodded his head.

“Take care of your man dude,” Chen jokingly told Tao and patted him on the shoulder before retreating to his shared bedroom with Xiumin. Tao watched as Chen disappeared before slowly making his way to the bathroom door. He placed his ear against the door and waits before knocking.

“Gege,” Tao called from the other side. Kris stopped massaging his head but continues as he ignored Tao’s call.

“Gege,” Tao said one more time but Kris doesn’t reply. Giving up, Tao made his way to Kris’s room and sat on Kris’s bed deciding to wait until Kris came out of the restroom.

After waiting for another good 20 minutes, the bedroom door opened and Kris walked with a white tank top and a pair of gray sweats on. He had his towel hung around his shoulders while he used it to dry his hair.

Seeing Tao sitting on his bed took Kris by surprise.

“What are you doing here?” he asked the younger man before closing the door. He made his way to his laundry basket and threw his dirty clothes in it.

“Chen said that there’s something weird going on,” Tao told him, “so I came to check up on you,” he added.

Kris sighed and spun around to face Tao, “There’s nothing wrong with me,” he said in angry tone of voice, “Can you please leave? I want to sleep since we have an early schedule for tomorrow,” he spoke.

“But…,” Tao began.

“Just leave damn it, I told you that there’s nothing wrong with me,” Kris had cut Tao off before Tao was able to finish.

Tao sat there staring at the now fuming Kris. He looked down at his fingers and fiddled with them, “If it was my fault for your weird acts, I’m sorry,” he apologized and sniffed, “I don’t know what I did wrong to begin with, but…if you don’t want to tell me then that’s fine,” Tao added and got up to leave the room.

Kris quickly hugged Tao and rested his head against Tao’s smaller frame, “I’m sorry,” he breathed out, “It’s just that…”

Tao spun around to face Kris, he cradled Kris’s face into his hands, “You can tell me,” he reassured the taller man.

Kris took in a deep breath and nodded, “It’s just that…I’m mad that you called Xiumin oppa but you never once called me oppa,” he admitted.

Then and there was an eerie silence that filled the room. Tao immediately let go of Kris’s face and spun back around to escape, “Um…yeah I think I’ll be leaving now,” he said.

Kris grabbed Tao’s wrist and forced the shorter man to spin around, “I thought you wanted to help me?” he asked.

“I did…but now I don’t,” Tao stated, “and I think its best I don’t,” he added.

“What?!” Kris shouted.

Tao covered his ears and shrank back, “I mean…what can I do? I mean…,” Tao didn’t know what else to say.

Kris smirked, “What you can do is call me oppa,” he said and crouch down to face Tao, “so?”

Tao looked from side to side, “Oh c’mon gege, you know that the only reason why I called Xiumin oppa is because I thought that oppa was meant for both men and women,” he reminded Kris.

Kris shrugged, “I know nothing of that,” he stated, “If you don’t call me oppa, I’ll stay mad at you forever.”

“What? That’s no fair!” Tao reasoned and Kris shrugged.

“You’re choice Zitao,” he said and stood up, “oh and your buing buing won’t work on me either,” he added and faced his back to Tao.

Tao sat there for a good minute before deciding on what to do.

“Oppa,” Tao called. Kris stopped walking and spun around to face the still squatted man.

“What?” he asked. Tao fiddled with the hem of his shirt and looked up at Kris, “Sorry if I got you all mad and worked up for nothing…um…oppa,” he said again.

Kris smiled his winning smile, walked up to Tao, squat down and kissed Tao harshly on the lips. He pulled back and caresses Tao’s face before saying, “That’s all that you needed to do, it wasn’t that hard,” he said.

Tao pouted and punched Kris on the shoulder and stood up, “I’m leaving,” he stated and walked out dodging Luhan at the last minute. Luhan walked into the room, “What’s with him?” he asked Kris.

Kris simply shrugged and lie down on his bed placing both of his hands behind his head, “Not sure,” he said and shut his eyes.

“Success,” he told himself in his head.
