WE'RE ONE FAMILY
THE WARMTHWatching your sister crying in your hug is bad. Hearing her sobs, it broke your hearts into pieces. And that was what Hyosung facing. It was a hard time for all of SECRET members, but the hardest thing was when one by one they cried. Hyosung couldn’t do the same though. It wasn’t right for her to cry with them.
What would make the girls cry hardly in the leader’s arm? Right, they were losing their CEO. Their father had passed away that night, shocking the entire company and of course the artists. They didn’t need to tell that it was possible for the son of the CEO to be the next CEO.
But hey, it wasn’t the point. It was their father who died. Not also their father and their boss, he was also their friend. No matter how old fashion and harsh he was, he was the one who took them to be famous like now. Hyosung knew where the rest of their company’s staffs and the boys were. The boys had gone first to the CEO’s house together with their manager.
However, SECRET had decided to go after them. They didn’t want to show up with swollen face, they would show up like that anyway, but not now. “Ssshh.. Don’t cry like that. Singjanim wouldn’t like to see us crying like this.” Hyosung tried to calm the others while she was trying to keep the tears from falling. “Unnie.. Why so fast?” JiEun sobbed again, Hyosung felt sorry for her, without their CEO, JiEun wouldn’t go out with Yongguk like what they had done for the entire years.
“JiEun-ah, it’s a fate. We will never know our fate. It’s only God who knows it.” Hyosung said wisely, she ruffled JiEun’s hair. Hyosung looked back to the living room, Sunhwa and Zinger were both bowing, hiding their faces. “Girls, we gotta go now. The funeral will begin in 3 hours, we have to meet with Singjanim’s family first.” Hyosung said softly.
It was even harder for them to get up from the couch and try to wear something match for the funeral. Hyosung sighed, out from all of her members, she was the only one who didn’t have boyfriends. The others had one and of course, public had never known it.
“Zinger, you have to get up.” Hyosung patted Zinger’s shoulder. She sighed again as she heard Zinger’s sob. She really understood how they felt right now, she felt the same with them. She felt pain and sorrow too but it wasn’t the right time to sit and not doing anything.
“Unnie, could you please help me?” It was Sunhwa’s turn to ask her, so she said nothing and went to her room. Sunhwa looked messy right now, with her powder and mascara was ruined by her tears. Hyosung held back her tears again before hugging Sunhwa from back, looking at their reflections in the mirror. “Sunhwa, stop crying, okay? We have to get rid of this, we need to go to the funeral.” Hyosung said calmly, pointing to the door to clear out what she was talking about. Sunhwa bowed, Hyosung took it as the sign to leave her again.
Unbelievably, JiEun had managed to do the whole make up by herself and she even hadn’t ruined it like the other two. “Unnie, we have to hurry. Manager Kang is waiting for us.” She informed Hyosung who was trying to help Zinger to wear her shoes. “Alright, let me call Sunhwa first.” She replied.
“Unnie.. I can’t do this.” Sunhwa’s cry was s
