Description
The Galaxy Car Rally was a first of its kind in South Korea. Stopping at three towns, the rally witnessed an army of adrenaline hungry college boys racing against each other to reach the finish line. MyungSoo was racing for the second time and after the previous year's brush against the grand prize, he was even more determined to win. But what if MyungSoo chances upon a prize of infinite value? What if he finds something no race would ever help him achieve? Some people wait a year, some a decade. But MyungSoo has only two days and during those 48 hours, his life meets the turn no rally could ever surprise him with.
Foreword
Ever since I was a kid, I was always entertained by stories about my family. They often bordered on crazy and the entertainment factor was spiced up with each new story. But out of all those stories, it was this particular love story that caught my attention. Whenever I long for it, my mother tells me the story for the nth time, like it was my very own bedtime fairytale. Whenever I feel down-and-out, feel hopeless about the possibilities of meeting the other side of my red string of fate or just experience a sinking feeling humans define as loneliness, I narrate this little story to myself and smile. Prince Charming and White Horses still exist.... In new avatars, of course. This is a contest fic, an entry for KPossible21 and Mary517's 'Sounds of Melodies 2012' writing contest.
