Getting Back

This isn't a story update.

I'm sorry for losing out on so many of my stories halfway but life caught up with me. I also lost some of my passion for writing halfway through but I suddenly feel like getting back in touch with all of you.

I'm just curious about everyone. I made some good memories here and I wanted to let everyone know that I'm currenly working on my thesis for my Masters in Literature and Philosophy. After this I'll be heading to another university for a second M.A. in Creative Writing, which means I'll finally be able to devote my time to writing. I'm nervous but I'm also looking forward to it.

From time to time I think about how so many of you encouraged me with each update and how many of you contacted me when I started updating less until I didn't update at all, asking me why I wasn't following up or where I was. I've always been here! I've been lurking around, going through stories some of the currently popular writers have been posting. The overall quality of writing here has gone to the dumps though, if I have to be brutally honest.

I contacted a few of my favourite writers here to ask how they were doing, but I'm not sure if they have actually logged back in to AFF for over a year now. Here's to hoping they see my messages any time soon.

But yes! I would love to know what everyone is up to! Please fill the comments or send me messages! I'm guessing most of you would be the older members of AFF.

Hi!

I haven't been on AFF for years, today being the first time I've logged back on since I left! I just had to check your page again because you were my favourite author (still are). I hope to be able to read more of ANYTHING you write in the future, whether it be here or anywhere else. Take care :)

As a side note, who are some of your favourite authors here?

omg you came back!!! i feel like throwing confetti everywhere, for real! congratulations for your study and cheers for the good work. seems like my wish to get a hardcopy of your book will come true sooner or later?! i still remember reading Searching for Avalon back in my final year of ba. degree (thanks to this one friend who recommended) and now i just submitted my masters thesis and are waiting for convocation in October. how time flies and i'm glad that i didn't go anywhere because see, you came back (i hope all my favourite authors will do the same too)! and i do occasionally visit your account to read Infinite's ff because they are indeed considered as gems here, but i have to say your writings never get old over time. and i definitely couldn't wait for more to come!
