The day could not spiral downwards any less for the defeated child. Her sisters cheerily comforted her with promises to do the things she favored---but she didn't respond as she could not bare this shame. Bom handed a sweet cone of creamy ice out to Mia who just stared at the delicacy and looked away

"No thanks," she mumbled. Bom looked at her sadly

"We thought you did wonderful,"

"I'll get him one day," Mia said determined. 

   At home the girls all gave Mia her space as she went straight to the training room

"I HATE YOU!" she yelled at the punching bag, with every once of her being she made the bag shoot away from her and when it came back towards her she rolled sideways and side kicked. She imagined it was the undefeated bastard. She hated his guts. She took a breather and the punching bag pushed her into the wall. She felt tears tremble on her eyelids and she slumped down the wall restlessly. All that flashed in her mind was the devastating sight of TOP's chair being empty. He was supposed to see her win---she would've won if he was there but he wasn't---because ….

"What right now?" TOP had spit into the phone angrily after he was told he was needed in a sudden fight that broke out that evening. Hyomi hollered into the phone as she knocked someone off his feet and forked him with her knives. TOP winced at the sound at pierced flesh and got up with one last look at his daughter. She had toppled the boy and sent her fists flying into him. Both GD and Bom stared up at him with stern looks that warned him not to leave. He ignored both, but Bom caught his arm

"Where are you going? She needs you!" TOP snapped his arm back

"I have work to do," he explained. She looked into his eyes begrudgingly but nonetheless turned around in disappointment. By the time the door of the elevator pulsed close, Mia had looked up and saw he was gone.

    Worry touched Bom's spirit as she stayed up in their bed, she felt her eye leads becoming drawn with lead as she was exhausted. Her eyes finally closed but her heart still drooped in her anxiousness to see TOP walk in. That was just it. He never came that day. When he did come in from work, he'd have a few or hardly any bruises on him. 

"Bom?" asked Youngchan sitting primly at the diner table. Bom looked down on the twelve year old from her place at the stove.

"Yes?" she questioned.

"Where's TOP?" she asked. And Bom looked thoughtfully to the side

"I think he left out this morning," she fibbed, but she didn't want the child to worry. 

Youngchan looked at her for a moment then turned to her chatting younger sisters. They all were rushed off to school, but they had a instep of horrid feeling bubbling in their stomachs. They knew something was wrong.

  "Hyomi!" yelled a distressed Bom as she watched the recruits drag in a worn out woman, with blood streaked against her face, her eyes were low and sullen.

"Hyomi, are you alright? Where's TOP?'" Bom asked, getting up from TOP's office chair. Hyomi merely took a deep breath

"He went ahead," she told Bom. Bom's mouth painfully whisked into an 'o' shape

"You mean you don't know where he is either?" Hyomi nodded slightly

"He went after the boss, while I stayed behind to fight off the rest,"

Bom's heart was shattering underneath her mold of ribs. She rested back into TOP's chair

"Who were you up against?"

"Some uprising gang. We had to put them down, since they were threatening our reign," Hyomi was shoved large amounts of water. Bom looked out the window uneasily

      "So he could be captured…"

"Is he dead or alive is the better question," said Hyomi crisply as she swallowed painkiller pills. Bom looked rather forlorn about the possibility

"Please do everything in your power to find him," her voice cracked as she could barely get her head straight. She was hardly calm, and dying of uneasiness.

Hyomi closed her eyes

"What do you think I've been doing this whole time?" she and Bom weren't positive and hopeful for what would happen. And if TOP would appear in his office ever again.

  Blood dripped from a merely lifeless body, blue hair crested the crown of TOP's head and he swallowed back a metallic red that touched the back of his tongue

"You bastard…how could you plot against me like this," the figure's face was hardly visible in his eyes as he was circled by this male.

         "That's where you're wrong. I'm not the one who plotted this," he kicked TOP's crumpled body sideways, with a satanic grin. His eyes were shielded by an opaque shading for sunglasses; bordered in a soft…familiar neon green. TOP gained his voice again and spat his balled up fury and pain in the form of blood; unto the cement

"That's a relief," he smiled vaguely. The male lowered himself to look over TOP, though the gun in his hand swung carelessly while he the trigger

"You've even got the balls to joke at your death! I'll always admired you TOP," he whistled ever so exuberantly and absolutely cynical. 

"If it's not you bastard, then who is it?" asked TOP with a hardly scared glare into the gleaming barrel of the gun. Before the male could answer, someone appeared 

                                 "Me."
