Part 2 :
 

“Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning.”

tiffany decided to check the attendance first of course as she called their name alphabetically she can’t deny her excitement to know the name of the girl at the back…

as for taeyeon, she’s sweating heavily. She can’t stop thinking what might happen. And now that her new professor will know her name, she gulped

hell will start soon.. I’m sure taeyeon thought as tiffany continued to call her name

”kim taeyeon.. uhmm is kim taeyeon here?” tiffany called for almost 3 times

if it weren’t yuri to nudge taeyeon who’s staring at nowhere. Taeyeon might not be able to answered ‘present’

”a-ah.. I’m present mam” taeyeon immediately responded
then she turned her gaze to yuri and mouthed ‘thanks’
and yuri just gave her an okay sign

but taeyeon’s nervousness seemed to be increasing as tiffany’s gaze never leave her

in tiffany’s mind ‘oh so you’re kim taeyeon.. taeyeon? That’s cute.. well, I think I’m not going to have a hard time since I like your name..’ a not so evil smirk appeared again

taeyeon’s brain seems to be malfunctioning every time she saw her smirk her sweat were uncontrollably rushing down her face. It was like she’s having trauma in every gaze tiffany’s summoning to her.

tiffany suddenly stood up with a grin lingering on her face
”okay then since this is my first day.. I want you to say something about yourself and plus my subject is literature you need to write your autobiography” she spoke out

and the class groaned

”uhmm ok where should we start?” tiffany her forefinger on her chin like she was thinking
”uhmm I want to start at the back” tiffany said

taeyeon groaned quietly. She’s not that good in English plus she knows that her teacher was planning something definitely.

as the other students at the back introduce themselves. Tiffany wasn’t really paying attention. Until it taeyeon’s turn she looked up and stare intensely at taeyeon. Making the latter uncomfortable under her gaze.
taeyeon doesn’t know how to start, she was panicking .
  
’arghh!! Kim taeyeon come on!! This was just an introduction it’s not like you didn’t do this before!’

tiffany then acted like she’s bored and looking at her wristwatch. But deep inside she’s enjoying watching taeyeon panicking this might be really strange but she found it cute and weird at the same time ‘cute, really cute’

tiffany started to act impatient, she even turn her back at taeyeon…
that made taeyeon’s uneasiness to rise
her other classmates were quietly stomping their feet
but this time taeyeon cleared and started to speak

”i-I’m kim taeyeon, 19 years old. My birth day is M-March 9, 1993. my favorite 
subject is science and math.--”

“how about values education? I mean there’s still in college right?” tiffany asked

”huh? Uhh yes we still have that subject” taeyeon answered flatly

”subject? Well, I think you’re not attending that class” tiffany said as she mumbled the last part
”excuse me, mam? What’re you trying to say?”
”if I’m not wrong, values education helps the student to developed good character right?”
”yes, mam”
”then politeness is included.. basically like apologizing whenever you hurt someone accidentally or purposely?” tiffany said as she looks straight to taeyeon’s eyes

oh boy!! So this is what she wants..  taeyeon thought as she knows what’s her new teacher trying to say

taeyeon quickly answered
”of course it is” as she prepared herself for embarrassment
”good. I thought you didn’t kno it or maybe you need some tutoring from your teacher in values ed. Maybe she could help you improve your attitude starting from saying sorry if you bumped to someone accidentally or not.” Tiffany ended their not so called argument with that statement. Not wanting the other students suspect of something

the rest of the students continued to introduce themselves and taeyeon just remained calm. But deep inside she’s still angry
aishh.. stupid!! Just because of that!! She even hit me using her shoes and still it’s not enough and here she is making me look bad in front of others.. okay I’m going to apologize after class1! Let’s just end this!
taeyeon resumed on writing her autobiography. All the students do their work quietly as for tiffany she’s silently celebrating inside her head even though she really wanted to squeal happily not in the reason that she said what she wanted but because seeing on how taeyon reacts

well, I think being a teacher for a while seems to be a good idea. I must thank daddy later because of this. She silently chuckled

although tiffany’s quite bored, she still remain her composure being a loud cheerful person she’s not comfortable with silence but this time is an exemption sheneeds to be quiet.

she silently studied each one of her student’s face while they’re writing their autobiography tiffany was memorizing their names but she’s really having a hard time. She’s not that good in those things such memorizing, calculating or experimenting that’s why she loves to write she can’t express herself fully she doesn’t need to calculate anything and more importantly there’s no numbers.
simply she hate math and science. She then remembered something when she’s still in high school well she’s not that old she’s just 20 she’s already gifted in writing which makes her life easier. But here she was trying to be an English literature teacher for his dad’s request.

---flashback---

when she was in high school up to her life right now :

tiffany doesn’t like holding scalpel or any laboratory equipment but because it’s required she needs to do it for the sake of her grades whether she’s not going to be scientist or not.

today they will going to dissect a frog. Tiffany wasn’t able to sleep peacefully yesterday she can’t stop thinking what might the frog do to her. Even though the teacher explained to them on how and what they will do. She’s complete in tools she have her laboratory suit (lol, I don’t know what’s the right term.. just randomness maybe), scalpel or dissecting scissors, Dissecting Tray and Paper towels, forceps, dissecting probe and dissecting pins. But the most important tool is braveness which tiffany can’t have this time she keeps on saying it’s just a frog but when the actual frog was already in front of her and she needs to catch it. Tiffany prevent herself from screaming her teacher might kick her out of the laboratory and not able to perform their experiment.
 

           ”oh gosh.. can you just be good to me? let me get you! Please I’m begging youmr. Frog” tiffany silently prayed and mumbled

she was blindly capturing the frog from the container. She’s sweating heavily, tiffany might be a friendly person but with these kind of creatures she doesn’t know how to make them friendly and lovable not just because of their appearance and also to the things they can do

15 minutes have passed and tiffany still can’t get the frog while her other classmates were moving on in the dissection process.
but it didn’t stopped her from trying to be strong a few minutes passed again tiffany was already celebrating inside her head because she managed to capture the frog but to her dismay it’s so small.

Tiffany gulped “it’s better to have this small frog than nothing” she whispered through the air as she positioned the frog and use the dissecting pin their teacher have thought them that you need to something in the frog’s spine to make it paralyzed tiffany tried it but always failed.

She’s been preventing herself from throwing up she just can’t stand living in a room with this mr. frog. Tiffany gave up on using that paralyzing technique so she tried the other tactic make the frog turn to sleeping beauty using chloroform. Tiffany was really curious on how this chloroform works instead of putting it near to the frog, she smelled it. After a few seconds tiffany’s head was spinning

oh no what’s happening! and what’s even worse tiffany left the chloroform opened and accidentally drop it on the ground causing a really big trouble the substance spread inside the room. Resulting all the students to put into sleep. And the mr. frogs came out of their room. It was a big shamed on what happened. Her laboratory professor scolded her like there’s no tomorrow after that incident they forbid tiffany from going inside the laboratory, with that tiffany’s father take her to America for her studies.

They were rich and powerful that tiffany can be accelerated to another year. But being tiffany hwang, she can’t do that she’s considerate and a hardworking one. She tried not to cause trouble and now she over come all the challenges. She graduated successfully and thanks to those mistakes she had made that help her to become strong despite of her weaknesses

and after her graduation her father begged her to try teaching. Being a good daughter she gave in ‘well, just try anyway’ she said to herself. So that’s why she chose this subject of course it’s her major in college, English literature.

-------flashback ended--------

tiffany chuckled silently

well, I guess fate agreed with me. being a writer is the right choice  but then she immediately frowned she remembered that right now she’s a teacher for a while
she sighed heavily but then she jerked up suddenly

she saw taeyeon standing in front of her
”aa.. m-m-miss hwang here’s all the paper. And the bell r-rang a while ago s-so our class was finished now” taeyeon said hesitantly she doesn’t know how to start. She said to herself she’s going to apologize but she doesn’t know how and actually she can’t stop herself from staring at her. She even watched tiffany shook her head, chuckled and sighed silently

’aish taeyeon! What are you? A creep?geez’

tiffany took the papers in taeyeon’s hand but you know taeyeon was still lost in her thoughts making her grip on the papers even tighter that make it hard for tiffany to get it from her.

”t-tae-taeyeon-ssi you can put it down” this snaps taeyeon back to reality
she immediately let go of the papers

tiffany just shrugged it off even she thinks taeyeon is cute when the latter is daydreaming if it’s not she’s a professor she might have took a picture of taeyeon’s priceless expression .

taeyeon doesn’t know if she’s going to say goodbye and apologize or just leave without a word

’kim taeyeon just do it, will ya? Do you want her to think of you as a jerk or something for not saying sorry’

 ‘of course not.. so yeah I must!’

taeyeon was still standing in front of tiffany not making any movement.
she tried her best just to apologize

”uhmm ma-mam”
this caught tiffany’s attention so she turned at her
taeyeon looked away suddenly ‘I didn’t expect that this angel I mean my new  professor can hit someone’s head.. oh come on taeyeon just do it’

taeyeon closed her eyes and took a deep breath. As tiffany stared at her quietly waiting for her response.

”miss hwang I’m really sorry for yesterday. I didn’t mean to be rude or anything. It’s just.. uhmm I’m really sorry” taeyeon still had her eyes closed as she wait for an impact to land straight on her cheeks she waited but nothing happen so she opened her eyes and welcomed by a smiling tiffany

”so that’s why.. uhmm okay then actually I’m sorry too for throwing a shoe on you” tiffany said as she extended her hand and beam an eyesmile to taeyeon  

gosh that’s so cute she’s killing me omo! Taeyeon frozed and she suddenly felt something in her stomach ‘man what’s that feeling?’

taeyeon was still in dazed but she manage to lift her hand to shake hands with tiffany but then when their hands came in contact there’s a sudden flow of electricity between their hands causing both of them to pull away and jumped a little.

”miss hwang I’m really sorry and i-I have to go now t-thanks” taeyeon said as she bowed politely actually she’s still not recovering from the sudden electric shock
she was too lost from her thoughts causing her to bump on the wall near to the door she stumbled a little but tried to keep her composure

she looked back at her new professor and she saw ‘oh thanks she didn’t see it.. aishh.. but ouch it hurts’ she unconsciously punched the wall lightly
 she winced “ouch” she whispered so no one will hear she glance back at tiffany and saw the latter was busy reading their papers.

But little did taeyeon knows tiffany saw everything “dork but still cute” the new professor silently mumbled and chuckled “aish.. I bet you’re not really bad taeyeon it’s just that we met in such a bad timing maybe just maybe we could make it up with one another if there’s a chance.. sigh.. tiffany hwang just focused on your work” with that she take one last look on her cell phone containing taeyeon’s dorky picture a while ago (she took it while taeyeon’s closing her eyes and standing in front of her.. haha)  and put it inside her bag and resumed on reading her students' autobiography.

  (A/N : about the dissection of frog.. ooppss… haha actually it’s forbidden now.. just sharing my experience . our class was really excited about the dissection not because we’re going to kill an innocent frog but because we’re going to explore another creature, a very friendly creature –my teacher said it’s friendly that’s why it’s the one we uses in dissection. But when the dissection day comes our teacher announced that we’re not going to do it!! A part of me was sad and the other one is relieved. Well, I’m going to be honest I’m quite scared and afraid.. sorry for saying too much.)

oh I thinks it’s a bit long I might not update tomorrow since it’s late ..
