Here Comes Goodbye

Characters: Jin Akanishi, Yui Hoshimoto(Fictional), Tomohisa Yamaa, Kazuya Kamenashi, and others...

I was sitting on my car seat on this rainy day. the thunder and lightning was just getting my mood to be more sad. It was encouraging me to be sad, I know I'm already sad. the cell phone that is right in my hand was just sitting there, why was waiting for the phone to ring? What am i waiting for?

...her to call.

I was waiting for her to call me once again. I know in reality.

..she won't call.

I pick my phone up and just stare at my wallpaper. It was her and I looking so happy together. That took place at my high school trip, when i first confess to her. those were one of memorable moments of my high school days. today is my high school reunion, I'll be seeing the others who i haven't seen for 2 years. I got out from the car and walked to the inside of the building. There were people talking, letting the whole room echo.

"Hey Jin!" One of my friends called me. I smile as i walk towards them. They have been doing well since i have last saw them but i haven't been doing okay. I just have to enjoy every moment i have since i have nothing else to do. After talking to some old friends i sat at a table and drank.

"You seem busy with your life Jin," Yamapi smirked as he sat right beside me.

"Thanks Yamapi, "I sighed. "It sure is different this time Yamapi. I can't seem to think that something is missing from this reunion."

"Maybe it's because today is her death anniversary. Have you paid your respects to her?"

I scoffed, "I pay my respects everyday. I just feel like..."

Someone barged into the conversation, "it's her that is missing in this reunion." A boy named Kazuya; a guy who has been my friend for 10 years sat at my other side. "Since her death, everyone is trying to forget about the fact that a fellow classmate has passed away. It looks like you can't ignore that."

"Of course I can't! She was my friend---"

"She was also your lover. I've got an interesting fact about you Jin." I can't wait to hear this.

Kazuya stated, "after her death, you seem fake. you've been happy for the past year, it seems weird for a guy to be happy when his lover is gone. I'm guessing that maybe... you're just hiding the fact that you are sad. you want her to come back to your life once again, but it won't happen cause she is dead."

... the truth hurts.

I said, "you know Kazuya you could've just kept that to yourself."

"Don't tell me that Jin. You've been lying to yourself even to us! You're sad in the inside and its hiding inside you. you don't want to let it out because you think you're so manly. One day I'm sure... you'll feel regret." He was right, I wasn't myself at all. After she died i started pretending nothing had happen. I always thought it was a dream but as usual I lied again to myself.

I sure have the courage to lie to myself.

I wish she was here....
