Surviving Paradise

A/N: I really have nothing to say here so… onto the story. Holy crap this was a late chapter. O.o Sorry guys for the wait.

The groups of singers and family members of the happy engaged couple had been on the island for a good two days now, the wedding was suppose to take place on Friday and at this very moment it was only Wednesday but in a way it did not feel like a normal Wednesday. Chaerin was wearing a pair of black shorts and a white string bikini top with her hair tied up in a bun. Her signature black shades were balanced on her head as she knocked repeatedly on the door of Ji-Yong at the resort. “Ooooppa! Are you done yet?” She asked through the door but all she could hear was muffled speech from the other side. “Ugh! You’re taking too long. I am coming in!” She yelled and opened the door which was not locked. She had only knocked because it was polite. What she saw was the leader of Big Bang pulling down his pants with a pair of swimming trunks in his hand. “I-I uhh…” The poor girl was stunned and unable to speak and the leader himself was blushing red as he looked at her.

“C-Chaerin… Close the door!” he yelled but it was falling upon deaf ears as she looked at the leader with what was in a sense star struck nature but lucky for Ji-Yong the person in the room next door had heard the commotion and came to his rescue.

“What’s going on over here, hyu-… Come on Chaerin, nothing to see here.” Seungri laughed and tried to pull the blonde girl away but when she still would not budge he tossed her over his bare shoulder. The three people were suppose to go swimming together and go exploring today but with the fact that Ji-Yong had woken up late today and then Chaerin had lost her sunglasses somewhere and now they were all running a bit late. Seungri works out quite a bit and though his body doesn’t get showcased a lot like Youngbae and Daesung it really was toned since he worked out a lot and he was not afraid to show it off. Tossing the petite girl over his shoulder was also not a problem since she only weighed about ninety-nine pounds and was only about five foot two. After she was tossed over Seungri’s shoulder Chaerin finally broke out of her trance and had to be quick to save her sunglasses from a high fall and she held onto them close to her head.

“Seungri! Lemme go!” She yelled and squirmed but Seungri continued to hold her until they were out the door of the resort and their feet were touching the warm sand. Seungri was digging his toes into the light colored sand as if he was warming his toes through his sandals.

“Let’s go in the water. Hyung will catch up.” He smiled and Chaerin couldn’t help but nod, there was something about the way his face lit up when talking to that always made her wonder what he thought about her. But none the less the two raced to the water’s edge and kicked away their slippers onto a nearby dry patch of sand. The two laughed merrily as they went into the tide but Chaerin yelled out from the shock of the feeling of the colder water and shivered but Seungri went over to her quickly. “Chae?” he asked but was immediately splashed by Chaerin who had purposely lured him closer.

“I got you back!” She yelled and danced around in the shallow water before Seungri retaliated and splashed her too with the water which made her squeal and try to run away from him. Her sunglasses had slipped over the front of her face and rested comfortable over her eyes and nose. Looking over her shoulder at the chasing maknae she stuck her tongue out him before she had to stop running to catch her breath. The water had reached below her short shorts and she could feel the water growing deeper the father she ran down the shore. I guess this beach is elevated. She thought to herself as she looked far beyond the horizon through her darkened shades. But she was easy target for the new comer.

Ji-Yong had recovered quickly from the incident at the resort and was quick to change so he could catch up with Chaerin and Seungri. No way was he about to miss his day with them like they had planned. Over the five days in the plane and hanging out so much the three of them really did become closer than before. When he stepped through the resort doors to the outside he could see Chaerin and Seungri playing around in the water splashing around. He couldn’t help but feel a tad bit of jealousy over Seungri but then again why was he jealous for? Chaerin was a pretty girl and all but was she his type? For the longest time he didn’t think so but the more time he spent with her the more he began to play with the idea. Shaking his head he began to descend the stairs that elevated the resort door from the sand and put his shoes into the pile of shoes that the two goofballs had left behind. In his arms were three towels for them to use later and a gym bag was slung over his shoulders full of a change of clothes. As he was setting up their little camp space on the beach he heard the splashing from Chaerin and Seungri’s legs hitting the water as they ran and instantly Ji-Yong stopped what he was doing and gave chase.

Running in the sand barefoot was not the easiest thing in the world to do but it was a lot easier than running through the water so he was able to catch up remotely quickly. When Chaerin stopped running he took that opportunity to sneak up to her… the sounds of the water hitting the shore and the tides pulling and pushing masked his splashes into the water before finally he reached her and picked her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style as he carried her farther into the ocean till the water had risen so that only their heads were above sea level. “Idol-napped!” He teased and dropped her into the water.

“Eeep! Oppa!” Chaerin yelled as she finally came up to the surface after his sudden drop, she was also trying to float without touching the floor so she could properly yell at Ji-Yong. “What happened to my attentive leader?!” She yelled with a dark glare across her face and Ji-Yong flashed her a princely grin and kissed her forehead to .

“That was me being an attentive leader. You looked like you needed to enjoy the water more and to be saved.” He laughed as Seungri who had made it over to them rolled his eyes and kicked the back of Ji-Yong’s knees under the water so he would buck and lose his footing. Ji-Yong’s head went under and Seungri gave Chaerin a thumbs up which she delightfully returned before they exchanged a high five… and the two spent the next hour in the water splashing and swimming with Ji-Yong.

When all the fun was over with the three were lying about in the sun, drying off and enjoying mild conversations as they tanned. Chaerin was on her stomach as she lay between the boys on the towels and her eyes were covered by her sunglasses so that they could not tell who she was looking at. “What are we going to do after this?” She asked and switched positions now so that she was lying on her back and looking to the bright blue sky, a smile curled on her lips as she watched the clouds move by in a slow but soothing manner. She wished that she could just reach up and touch the cotton candy looking clouds and take a large bite out of it.

“We should go explore the jungle. I mean the others went yesterday and got to see the waterfall way back and they said that the view from the cliff is to die for so we might as well enjoy it too. It would be a good adventure, don’t you think?” Ji-Yong answered and the other two made acknowledging sounds as they thought about it, the two were getting as much sun and a tan as they could before they would have to take pictures on Friday for the wedding. They were sure that everyone was tanning up to look amazing in those pictures.

“I wouldn’t mind, but there better be some jeans in that gym bag of yours, Jingyo. I have to wear a short dress for the wedding and I will kill someone if my legs get scratched up while we go into that brush.” Chaerin responded and lifted up her legs to motion to her shorts and her clean shaven legs. Seungri went and touched her legs since they were in his line of view and rubbed her leg to make sure they were as perfect as she was making it sound and he gave an approving nod to his hyung.

“There is. I can just walk through with swim trunks then. I don’t mind. But I also brought a shirt of mine for you to wear while we go in.” he answered and moved from his lying position with a groan and stretch, reaching for the bag he pulled out a white tank top and pulled it on over his chest before handing another but black tank top to Chaerin who was still lying on her back. “Come on, get up. We need to get back to the resort before dark so we should go now.” He ordered and shook her body slightly which translated to her reaching over to Seungri and shaking him too.

“Alright hyung, we’re getting up.” Seungri groaned and sat up slowly and his arms reached up into the sky as he took a deep breath, Ji-Yong also tossed him a t-shirt which he slipped over his head and threw his arms through the sleeves. Standing up he looked over at Ji-Yong as he slipped on his slippers. “So we should just leave our stuff here and go, so we don’t have to carry all our stuff with us.” Seungri suggested and the two others nodded with a smile.

Chaerin had put on the tank top that Ji-Yong had handed her before standing up fully and slipped out of her now dry shorts and showed the matching bikini bottoms just before Ji-Yong had handed her the one pair of jeans he had brought in the bag for her to put on. “Alrighty, let’s go!” She laughed when she finished dressing and the three of them grabbed the water bottles from the gym bag and promptly left to go exploring. They walked right into the side of the jungle without much of a care. Seungri was behind Chaerin and Ji-Yong was leading everyone forward. He was pushing branches aside and telling the others where to step so that the vines and branches won’t snap up and hit their legs. Ji-Yong was also paying close attention to the things around since he was very much the caring and attentive leader. He turned his head to look at Chaerin who was looking down at her feet trying to watch where she stepped and Seungri who was pushing low hanging branches out of their way. Ji-Yong couldn’t help but smile at Chaerin, the way her cheeks puffed out and the way her face turned red from frustration was truly adorable and he never realized until now on how cute she really was. Maybe it was because he was used to seeing the fierce and leader side of her that she always has to exude since two of her members were older than her.

After what felt like hours walking through the jungle the three of them were able to reach a lake connected to a waterfall, the sky above it was open unlike while they were in the jungle. “Everyone fill up your water bottles. We should try to get to the top of the waterfall.” Seungri ordered as he knelt down at the water’s edge with his opened water bottle but as he was filling he heard commotion behind him from the two leaders.

Chaerin was slipping out her loaned jeans and took off her tank top so that she could jump into the cool feeling lake but Ji-Yong had swept her off her feet and was about to toss her in. She was squirming trying to get free of her oppa’s grip but he wasn’t having any of that. “Ji opppa! Don’t! Please!” She yelled over and over but Ji-Yong had tossed her into the water but not without the girl grabbing a hold of him and pulling him in with her. The two were laughing hysterically but when they looked up at Seungri they saw that he was soaked from their large splash. “Teehee, sorry.” The girl smiled innocently but he continued to have a stern and serious expression.

“I’ll get you back. But seriously guys we don’t have time to be messing around if we want to reach the peak. I don’t know how much longer it will take us to get up there and if we don’t keep a steady pace we will have to walk through the jungle again in the dark.” He warned and the two leaders looked to one another with a saddened expression at the thought. They knew he was right but they just wanted to play around like children and a new toy.

“But it’s so humid! Let’s just get cooled off for a little. Come on, I know you want too!” Ji-Yong cooed cutely with a large smile and the more the maknae looked at his hyung the more he wanted to jump in too… but he had to be the responsible one if his friends weren’t going to be.

“No, come on you two! We got to keep moving. If there is time on our way back down we can dip in again and we will come back here tomorrow.” Seungri explained and sighing the two leaders nodded and stopped their playing, they got out of the water and shook it off. Chaerin slipped back into her pants and got redressed and the three of them continued on their search for the peak. It was a long journey to the top but with conversation it didn’t seem as long of a trip. It was a good two more hours before they reached the long winding passage that would take them to the top of the cliff that they had seen when they arrived. Grinning the three friends raced to get to the top before the sun began to set but it was Ji-Yong who noticed something off about the amazing landscape when they reached the very top.

The three sat on the edge with their feet hanging off the ledge as Chaerin and Seungri admired the view but Ji-Yong was growing more and more uneasy as he stared out into the water and the clouds. It was too early to be this dark… Maybe it was the time change he wasn’t used to yet but the clouds were not easing his mind. “Guys, I think we should hurry back to the resort… the sky looks too dark to be sunset.” He muttered but the two looked over at him with a raised brow.

“Oppa, stop being such a worry wart. We will be okay. Let’s just enjoy this. It might be the last time we get to come here until another person gets married.” Chaerin laughed and laid her head on his shoulder since she was sitting between the two boys as she always does.

“For all we know, it could be one of us who gets married next.” Seungri teased and looked at Chaerin and inside he hoped it was him and her, but if it was just her to someone all he could ask for would be her happiness. But what she had said about it being their last time together up there really rattled his brain. He didn’t want things to change and neither did Ji-Yong so the three of them stayed up there longer than they should have. They should have left before they saw the lightening.

I don't really like seungricl no slash that i don't like seungricl but with the way jiyong is thinking here ugh i might just go with seungri for the mean time. Jiyong's way of thinking is waayyyy too immature, with the way he thinks he's still just a boy (playboy, bad boy, and the like) and not what he's supposed to be at his age, a man (manly man, real man, mature man, and so on).
