“When the skies and the grounds were one, legends through there, twelve forces nurtured the tree of life.”

“Taeyeon.”

A woman with golden brown hair turned around at the voice of a longtime friend. She smiled.

“Victoria.”

A woman with long brown hair with bangs walked into the vast courtyard held within the huge palace. She smiled seeing her friend standing next to a gorgeous, large tree that towered above the lower buildings of the castle. She strode to stand next to Taeyeon and looked up at the tree and smiled.

“It’s still growing so powerfully.”

Taeyeon looked from her friend back up to the tree, noting the details on it. The wood looked like a shade of light, golden brown. There was a huge white rope tied around the lower half of the trunk of the tree with bells on it, chiming with every little movement. Looking further up, there were flakes of gold embedded in the bark that seemed to shed during this season. The leaves were of a golden shade and swayed with the winds that were blowing in through the courtyard.

“Indeed, it is.”

They stood next to the tree, admiring the entire beauty of it. This was the day before things started to change. The two women eventually turned around and went back into the palace into their respective corridors and chambers. The next day, they both returned to admire the beautiful tree the twelve of them have been keeping an eye on for the past hundred years. Being the goddess of nature, Victoria instantly sensed a different energy being emitted from the tree before her.

“Victoria, Taeyeon. There you are.”

Another voice echoed throughout the courtyard before another woman set foot into the area. The respective women turned around at the voice before Victoria turned back to the tree, now with a sad smile adorning her face.

“I know, Boa.” Victoria said softly, looking back to her friend who was known for her wisdom.

Boa calmly walked over to her other two friends and looked up at the tree they’ve been keeping a watch on for years. “So, you feel it.”

“Yes, of course.” Victoria replied, looking to her friend for advice. “We need to stop this force before it completely destroys this tree.”

Boa nodded, “Once it’s destroyed, life will slowly dry out.”

“An eye of red forces created the evil which covered the heart of the tree of life and the heart slowly grew dry.”

“Leeteuk.”

A man with light brown hair turned to the newcomer entering his chambers. He had a hidden look of distress etched into his face.

“Onew.”

The man with brunette hair walked up to his friend sitting on a throne in the middle of the room. He looked up at the ultimate ruler of them all, clearly worried about something.

“Have you felt it? We need to do something to stop this force from destroying the tree. I’m afraid I cannot heal it. The prophecy I have seen years ago is coming true.”

Leeteuk smiled sadly. “I have, Onew. Boa is currently talking to Victoria and Taeyeon about it. What have you decided to do?” He looked to the other for advice since he is the most temperate and just of them all.

Onew stared straight into his friend’s eyes. His answer will save the tree until the twelve who receives its power is trained and ready to destroy the unknown force.

“We have decided to split the tree in half.”

“To intent an embrace for heart of tree of life, the legends hereby divide the tree in half and hide each side, hence time is overturned and space turns askew.”

“Qian.” The said woman adorned a crown on her head as she turned to her side at her brother. She noticed how he was using their birth names.

“Jungsu. We need to do this in order to save the tree.” Her brother nodded at her words. He looked to the rest of the gods and goddesses next to him who gathered to help him divide the great tree of life; even his brother from the underworld came to help.

“Taeyeon.” The ultimate ruler looked to his wife to the left of him.

“Yunho.” He nodded to his brother standing beside his wife, god of the underworld.

“Boa.” He looked to his right to the goddess of wisdom standing beside the goddess of nature beside him.

“Jinki.” He turned back to his left to see the god of healing and prophecies standing next to the god of death. Complete opposites standing next to each other to save the tree that each gave them life.

“Minsoo.” He looked to his brother standing next to Boa, the god of water.

“Chaerin.” He nodded to the goddess of the moon standing next to her twin brother.

“Jiho.” He looked to one of the shorter gods, god of wine, standing next to the god of water.

“Jaebeom.” He nodded to the man next to the god of wine, the god of fire.

“Seungho.” He stared at the last man standing to his right, the messenger god.

“Eun Young.” He turned back to his left to nod at the goddess of love.

“Young Duk.” He nodded to the god of war, the last one standing to his left.

Leeteuk looked back up to the tree, signaling the others to do the same. Left to right, the gods and goddesses stood: Young Duk, Eun Young, Chaerin, Jinki, Yunho, Taeyeon, Jungsu, Qian, Boa, Minsoo, Jiho, Jaebeom, Seungho. They each put out their right hand and touched the sacred tree, focusing each of their hidden powers to divide the tree, creating two entities.

“The twelve forces divide into two and create two suns that look alike, into two worlds that seem alike.”

Each of the gods and goddesses looked up into the sky where they had separated the large, sacred tree into two beings, similar in what was held within. The ultimate ruler with the god of healing and prophecy, the goddess of nature, the goddess of wisdom, and his queen looked up at the two forces they were creating to save. Each of the gods and goddesses focused more power into their hands and separated the two forces all over their world, hoping the prophecy will ultimately come true, bringing forth new legends to help save their world and the new lives to come.

“The legends travel apart. The legends shall now see the same sky but shall stand on different grounds, shall stand on the same ground but shall see different skies.”

Each of the two forces separated to opposite sides of their world, stopping to each break up into six smaller pieces. Each smaller force found their way and landed into twelve separate women, waiting for their chance, their abilities to awaken.

“The day the grounds beget a single fault before one sky in two worlds that seem alike, the legends will greet each other.”

Years in the future, a war will come where the twelve will meet under one threat. The thirteen gods and goddesses will have to search the world for the twelve forces they created years ago to combat the foreign force that threatens to harm the balance that they all live in once again.

“The day the red forces purify and twelve forces reunite into one perfect root – a new world shall open up.”
