Park Min Hee’s POV

“Thanks for taking me out to tonight,” I replied.

“Yeah, whatever,” he said back.

I went inside my apartment to sit on the couch with no one to comfort me in the darkness of the night. I looked out the cloudy window to see the sky was crying with the sadness falling on to the people below. 

Why was I chosen to go through this terrible love,I thought to myself.

Suddenly something wet slid down my cheek and ran to my chin. Then more and more of it started to follow the leader.

I’ve been like this in so many situations, but why does it feel more painful this time,I thought as I made my way to my comforting bed.

The voice in my head told me:

You don’t need to cry anymore, Park Min Hee. Just go to sleep and think about this in the morning.

The Next Day . . .

I woke up this morning with a horrible headache and very dry eyes. I just put anything on today; didn’t feel like dressing really awesome.

I needed some advice from my best friend in this world, so I decided to text her.

To: My BFF

From: Park Min Hee

I need help deciding on what I should do about Kim Hyung Joon.

Please meet at the Cho Co Late Café around 1O:OO.

As I made my way to the door, I grabbed my bag and keys.

“Hello Min Hee-ah,” a person with a deep voice said to me as I closed my door.

“Oh !”

“Yah! Don’t scare me like that!” Park Min Hee yelled.

“You need to yell; I’m right here,” I replied back.

I wrapped my hands around her waist and placed my chin on her right shoulder. I could tell she was starting to blush.

“Stop giving me mix feelings, Kim Hyung Joon,” she mumbled.

“What?” I asked.

“Let go of me, Hyung Joon!” she said as she took off to the elevator.

“Wait! Min Hee! Come back!” I said as I ran after her. She ran pretty fast. She got into the empty elevator and was furiously trying to press the button to go to the lobby below. Luckily, I was fast enough to get in before the doors closed on us.

“What the hell was that for?” I asked her with anger.

Then I notice she was on her knees; crying her eyes out.

She stood back up with her back now facing me as her shoulders droop down.

 I didn’t know why she was like this; not even a clue.

“What’s wrong Min Hee?”

Park Min Hee’s POV

“You; you are what is wrong with me,” I replied as I turned to face him. Is he that stupid? He doesn’t have a damn clue what is wrong with right now? Jerk.

The elevator came to sudden jolt and the lights were flickering on and off.

“Please don’t tell the elevator just died,” I mumbled.

The lights turned off completely and I just sit back down calmly.

Oh wait; I’m stuck in the elevator with Hyung Joon!

Damn it! Why does this have to happen to me?
