I begged Byulyi to let me cook that night, I couldn't handle anymore of her cooking, I didn't tell her that though, she agreed only if I let her do all the preparations, which wasn't an issue so I said okay,

As I stirred the soup, she came and tried to smell it, she clapped her hands looking at me with glistening eyes, "This smells so nice, unnie, oh I can't wait!!"

I didn't think it was possible to blush just because someone liked the smell of your food but my face burned as I looked at her smile, it was so pretty.

After we were done eating, she laid the mattresses on the floor and we sat side by side, she pulled out a board game, but it went above both our heads,

"A relative gifted it."

"I can see that."

I put the game aside before laying down, my back hurt from so much walking that day, Byulyi too laid on her mattress,

"Will you come?" She asked suddenly, her cheek was gently squished from the soft pillow beneath and her eyes looked at me with so much sweetness,

"Where?"

"If I invite you to my wedding, will you come?" I didn't give myself the time to have second thoughts and replied,

"Of course, I mean if you could justify inviting someone you only knew for two days to your mate then yes." She laughed, 

"I think I will be able to justify that, yes." When she looked at me again I felt my face flush, she wasn't laughing, not even a smile, it made me want to ask What's wrong? But then I didn't know if I was ready for any answer, instead I looked away and at the ceiling. I heard a sigh,

When I looked back, she'd turned away, "Good night Byulyi." I murmured, she hummed before pulling the quilt over herself, I wish I was more confrontational, I wanted to ask her things, I wanted to know her more.

The next morning, somehow I was up before her, after last nights musings of course I didn't expect to have a good night's sleep, I washed up soon and waited for Byulyi to wake up before making us both coffee, 

I watched what I thought was our last sunrise together with a tinge of emptiness, it didn't feel as good as it had the day before, Byulyi was silent, I wondered what was going in her mind, but knowing her I knew I wouldn't have to wonder for long as she would end up telling me anyway
