Several years later in Tokyo, Japan

Seulgi leaned against his car outside of the Sport Faculty building after working out at the gym. He played mobile games while waiting for someone. Out of the blue, he heard a familiar voice greet him.

“Kang Seulgi?” Seulgi lifted up his head and pulled off his shades to see who greeted him. He’s really shocked when he see the familiar figure

“Park Chaeyoung?”

“Yes hyung, I’m Chaeyoung” Chaeyoung comes closer to him and hugs him tightly, Seulgi hugs him back.

“Chaeng, what are you doing here?”

“I came for a basketball match against this university team next week. I landed here yesterday hyung” Chaeyoung said. His eyes b in tears, he missed Seulgi so much and he didn’t expect to meet him there.

“Oh I see, I heard about that tournament” Seulgi nodded

“Hyung, do you study here? You live here all this while?” Chaeyoung asked

“Yes Chaeng, I start my new life here. This morning I came here for workouts. I study at Architect Faculty”

Chaeyoung nods his head “Hyung, you never go back after you left three years ago?”

“Yup, I am not yet thinking about going back to our country. I’m comfortable here and now my life is here” Seulgi smile at Chaeyoung

“We missed you badly, hyung” Chaeyoung said sadly

“I miss you all too, Chaeng but we must sacrifice what we had for what we need. Maybe everything I need is here so I stay here” Seulgi patted Chaeyoung shoulder

“Kang Seulgi!” Seulgi and Chaeyoung turned their heads to the voice direction. A beautiful girl with jet black hair tied in a bun jogged to their direction “Sorry, I take too long” the girl grinned widely at Seulgi. She doesn't seem to notice Chaeyoung’s presence.

“It’s okay, bae. I’m good. Hey, I have a friend here” Seulgi pointed at Chaeyoung.

“Your new friend, Seul?” she asked excitedly

“He’s my friend from Seoul. He came for a basketball match next week against our university” Seulgi said then he turned to Chaeyoung’s direction “Chaeng, this is Bae Joohyun, just call her Irene noona. Bae, he’s Park Chaeyoung. We usually call him Chaeng”

“Hi, I’m Bae Joohyun. You can call me Irene” Irene bow politely at Chaeyoung

“I’m Park Chaeyoung, just call me Chaeng. I’m Seulgi hyung childhood friend” Chaeyoung bow back politely

“Nice to meet you, Chaeyoung” Irene smile

“Baby, did you have anywhere else to go after this?” Seulgi asked Irene

“No, I don’t have any schedule. If you didn’t have anything else to do, we should go home now” Irene wiped sweat on Seulgi forehead

“Chaeng, did you have any schedule later?” Seulgi looking at Chaeyoung

“No hyung, I just finished training. I’ll go back to hotel after this” Chaeyoung answered

“Do you want to hangout with us? I’ll drive you to hotel later”

“Sure” Chaeyoung flashed his famous alligator smile

“Bae, we’ll hang out with Chaeyoung for a while. I want to talk with him. You don’t mind right?”

“Of course, I don’t mind”

“Alright, let’s go Chaeng” Seulgi opens the door for Irene while Chaeyoung takes his place at the back seat. They go to the nearby coffee shop.

“Hyung, are you still angry at us?” Chaeyoung fidgeting his finger

“Angry for what?” Seulgi raised his brows. He know where their chat heading to but he pretend to clueless

“You know, about what happen that lead you to leave us” Chaeyoung said

“I’m not angry, Chaeng, I just hurt because of what happened. I’m shocked when no one takes my side when I need a hand to hold on. It’s getting hurt when she doesn't trust me in the first place. She also chose to break up with me without listening to my explanation” Seulgi sighed. He really don’t want to touch the old scar but he sure Chaeyoung already heard the story from others side and Chaeyoung should hear from his side

“Seungwan hyung, Eunbi noona, Yerim, Solar noona and Jennie are on your side. They can’t do anything because they don’t want Moonbyul hyung to hurt you more. Now Moonbyul hyung regrets what he has done to you. Seungwan hyung and I already gave him a lesson. He hopes to see you again and beg for your forgiveness. He’s changed now, hyung. He’s not bad-tempered anymore”

“It’s good that he changed. I’ll make it up with Moonbyul when I see him again in future but I do not promise when I’ll see him.”

“Glad to hear that hyung but why did you choose to go far away after that incident? Why you not wait for me to come back to settle the problem? You don’t know how hurt I am that time. I’m hurt because you leave without goodbye” Chaeyoung sadly said to Seulgi

“I’m sorry for that, Chaeng. I’m really sorry. I don’t know how to face you guys after what happened. All of them seem like they don't want me anymore. They don’t even contact or visit me even though they know how bad Moonbyul thrashed me. Jisoo also didn’t answer my calls and didn't reply to my text. I tell myself that not everyone will love me like I love them so I choose to back off. At first, my parents were against my decision but after they see how hard I continue my days, they let me leave. I don’t want them to tell anyone about my departure. Thankfully I came here, Joohyun found me and she took me in, treated me and she helped me to get myself back. I start new life with her by my side and I’m still with her until now as you can see” Seulgi smile and Irene nodded

“I’m happy that I found you here, hyung. I really want to see you after you leave us even just once. It’s good to hear that you’re happy with Irene noona. You deserved to be loved. I hope we can meet again after this”

“Yes Chaeng, I’m happy with my life now. I want you promise one thing, Chaeng” Seulgi stared at Chaeyoung

“What is it, hyung?”

“Please don’t tell anyone that you meet with me here. I don’t want them to know about me. When the time is right, I’ll go back”

“Yes hyung. I promise I’ll keep it a secret. What if Jennie asked me? You know, I can’t keep any secret from her”

Seulgi sighed “Okay, if you want to tell her, just her only. Make sure she doesn’t tell anyone. If others know from you or Jennie, I’ll move to another country and make sure you can’t find me anymore”

“Okay hyung, your secret is safe. I will bring her here one day” Chaeyoung grin

“Aigoo Chaeyoung, married already?” Seulgi teasing Chaeyoung

“No hyung, none of us are married. We want you to settle down before us”

“Aishh, are you guys still using that rule?” Seulgi laugh

“Of course hyung, we still obey our ‘Sibling Rule’. Seungwan hyung will punish us if we disobey. He said he’ll make sure everyone obey to the rule so that you will be happy if you come back one day”

“Wan is so funny but strict” Seulgi and Chaeyoung laugh

Meanwhile Irene secretly stared at Seulgi. It’s rare that she sees Seulgi really happy since she met him two years ago. He’s happy all this while but today it was different. She’s happy that Seulgi can smile, laugh and carry on with his life.

“Hyung, can you drive me to the hotel now? It’s getting late. I worry that my teammates will look for me” Chaeyoung said. It wasn’t enough for him to have a conversation with Seulgi but time doesn’t allow him to do so. He promised to meet Seulgi again next time

“If you have time, I want to invite you to our house to have dinner or maybe sleepover” Seulgi offer

“Sure hyung, we can meet after the basketball match. I hope you and Irene noona come to watch my game” Chaeyoung flashed his wide smile

“Of course, we’ll watch your match”

“Yes Chaeyoung, me and Seulgi often watch basketball and soccer match whenever we have time” Irene smile
