Today they leave the house early because they want to go to the beach for a picnic. They brought the food that they bought yesterday. After setting their place under a shady tree, they sit down on the mat and prepare their food. All of them are enjoying the beautiful scene of the beach and sea. Suddenly, Seulgi comes out of nowhere with Jimin clinging to him like a koala. They giggle while walking towards the others.

“Aigoo, where do these two come from?” Chaeyoung said while eat an apple

“We enjoying the refreshing scene”

“Papa said we see the y tourist” Jimin innocently bragging

“Ayy, don’t teach your son flirt like you” Moonbyul face palmed himself

“He already has that habit since born, right Ji?” Jimin nodded in agreement

“I want to borrow Jimin’s mom for a while” Seulgi wriggles his eyebrows playfully

“Want to go on a beach date dude?” Seungwan teasing him

“Yes, but this buddy not give us a chance so we go for family date” Seulgi hold out his hand to help Irene stand up “Come baby, let’s go”

“Come baby, let go~” Jimin followed what Seulgi said and he laughed

“See you all later” Seulgi said and they walk away

“Have fun!”

“What a nice little family” Solar compliments while looking at Kang’s family

“We also will have a little family like that” Moonbyul poke Solar nose playfully

“You all should training from Seulgi before become a father” Solar said and winked at Moonbyul

“Solar is right, you all should learn from him” Eunbi added and chuckled

“Hyung is our role model” Chaeyoung said while Moonbyul and Seungwan nodded agree

“Guys, Yerim, Sooyoung and I want to visit Ashley’s family later. Do you all want to go along?” Seulgi initiates conversation

“We’ll join. Besides, Ashley unnie invite us too” Eunbi answered on behalf of everyone

“Alright” Seulgi turned to Chaeyoung “Chaeng, you’ll go with us?”

“I don’t know, hyung” Chaeyoung sighed

“If you don’t want to join, it’s fine. Don’t force yourself” Seulgi said

“Wait Seul” Moonbyul said then he stared at Chaeyoung “Chaeng, tell me honestly, is your past still bothering you? I mean, it has been almost 10 years since the separation so I guess it is not a problem anymore. Besides, you have Jennie already”

“Tell us, Chaeng. Jennie will not scold you” Seungwan added

“That’s right, hubby. Tell them what you feel right now” Jennie caressed Chaeyoung arm

However Chaeyoung is stubborn, he stood up and stomped his feet leaving the room. Everyone shocked seeing his reaction

“Park Chaeyoung! STOP RIGHT THERE” Seungwan shouted. Chaeyoung stopped immediately. “What is wrong with you? We just asked you if your past relationship is still bothering your mind. Do you feel guilty? Do you want to properly apologize to Ashley and her family? Since we’re here now, you should use this chance to apologize for what you have done. Remember that you made Choi’s family disappointed. We want to help you but you showing childish reaction”

“Sorry Seul if I move too far” Seungwan bowed

“It’s okay. Carry on” Seulgi signaled Seungwan to continue

“Chaeng, we want to make everything clear for you and her. If you think Jennie will be angry at you, don’t worry about her. She understands your situation. Don’t you feel that you’re stubborn this time? Chaeng, I say this once. Don’t think I don’t know what you have done to her. I also know things that you never expect. However, I shut my mouth all this while because I need a solid proof and I have it now. If I spill everything right now, you’ll die immediately” Seungwan said sternly. Chaeyoung looking at him with pale face, he looked so scare

“Be mature, make closure with her and apologize to her family. I’m sure Jennie wouldn’t if you talk to Ashley noona” Seungwan said softly

“Okay hyung, I’ll go with you all” Chaeyoung and Seungwan hugging each other

“Wan, is there anything that we don’t know?” Seulgi asked curiously

“Yes but let Chaeyoung explain to us. I can’t go too far in his life matter” Seungwan said “Jen, I hope you understand if Chaeyoung is going to open up about his past. Please, don't be angry at him. You know he loves you more than anything. He already moved on from Ashley noona, I can guarantee that but they need proper closure because Ashley noona leaves without goodbye. They might have many things to talk about”

“Okay oppa, I understand” Jennie said

They go to Choi’s residence in the evening. Chaeyoung stays silent all the way to Choi’s house and Jennie comforts him. After a 10 minute ride, they arrive at Ashley’s house. Ashley and her mom welcomed them with a warm smile.

“Hey kids, here is our food and drinks” Mrs. Park come with drinks and followed by Ashley who’re holding snacks for them

“Aigoo, we troubled you a lot aunty” Yerim said

“No such things, sweetie. It’s not every day that we meet each other. If I’m not mistaken, I saw you all when you were still in high school. Now everyone all grown up” Mrs. Choi said

“Aunty, you still remember me?” Seungwan asked the elder

“You’re the mischievous one, right? The one who climbed our mango tree and ate it alone on the tree”

“Yes aunty” Seungwan cackle “I still remember the mango tree at your house in Seoul. I used to pass by that area but I don’t see that tree anymore”

“Uncle, you’re bad” Jimin said innocently

“Aunty, this is my son, Kang Jimin” Seulgi introduce his little hero

“Omo, you’ve son already, Seul? He’s cute” Mrs. Park pinched Jimin cheek and that boy giggles

“This is his mom, Irene” Seulgi wrapped his arm on Irene waist

“Hi aunty, nice to meet you” Irene bowed her head politely

“Nice to meet you too, Irene”

“Aunty, these girls are our friends, Solar, Jennie and Jisoo” Seulgi said and everyone exchange greeting “I guess you remember Park Sooyoung”

“Of course I remember Sooyoung, son of Park Seojoon. You and Sooyoung love to ride motorcycle with your uncle in the evening”

“Aunty, where is uncle? Sooyoung asked

“He went to buy fresh seafood and meat for our dinner. He will be back soon”

“Noona, actually we had a wish and we hope you can grant it” Seulgi said hesitantly

“What is it?”

“Noona, Chaeyoung want to talk to you for a while”

Ashley looking at Chaeyoung who not dare to look at her “Sure, let’s talk outside”

“Go” Seulgi nudging Chaeyoung

Ashley stood by the mini fish pond at the garden and crossed her arm. Chaeyoung awkwardly stand behind her

“Noona” Chaeyoung speak awkwardly

“What do you want to talk about?”

“I’m sorry for the past. I regret what I had done to you” Chaeyoung go straight to the point

“I forgive you already even it is hard for me” Ashley heaves a heavy sigh

“I know I’m wrong. I cheat on you and hurt your sincere feelings. I want to apologize but I’m late, you already flew overseas. I have lived in regret for years. It is the biggest mistake I ever did in my entire life”

“No Chaeyoung, it is not your biggest mistake. There is something that you never expect. You going to regret it more than everything” Ashley turn around facing Chaeyoung

“What is it? I’m not understand” Chaeyoung puzzled

Ashley sighs “I’m pregnant at that time, one month. The day I saw you with that girl is the day I found myself having a baby. I want to tell you about it but God show me your true color. After thinking carefully I decided to not let you know. Thankfully my family moved to Australia so I don’t need to struggle hiding from you and your friends. I used to come to Seoul once, I planned to tell you but I found out that you are dating Jennie. In the end, I leave without meeting you. I don’t want to ruin your happiness. It better that you don’t know than we hurt one more innocent heart”

Chaeyoung felt his legs weak and shivering. Tears rolled down from his eyes. He never expected that to happen. How cruel he is letting Ashley raise his son for nine years alone without knowing his existence.

“Where is him now?” Chaeyoung asked between his sobs

“He went out with appa. You’ll meet him later. It's up to you whether you accept him in your life or not. Don’t force yourself and don’t force Jennie if she doesn't want you to be involved with your child. We’re fine without you. It’s enough that you know you have son with me”

Chaeyoung stepped forward and hugged Ashley “I’m sorry, noona. I never expect it to happen. If I knew you were pregnant that time, I'd marry you but I’m a jerk. I’m enjoying my life here but you bear all the pain alone without me. My son doesn't have a dad because of me. I’m sorry Ashley. I’m really sorry”
