Year 1 C.E. (Common Era) -- The first year of adoption of the Gregorian calendar, known as the most accurate form of calendar devised based on the Sun. Religiously, it was also the year Jesus Christ was born, demarcating the New Testament from the Old Testament. 

Year 1 N.E. (New Era) -- The year the very first group of humans left the original solar system. As the previous calendar system was based solely on the Sun of the original solar system, a system based on a nuclear-powered movement clock was designed. Humans had mastered the art of teleportation, allowing them to ‘travel’ faster than light, allowing them to explore outside the ever-expanding universe.

Year 180 N.E. -- The collapse of the original solar system when the sun shrunk into a white dwarf after its red giant phase. A large influx of refugees spilled into the other star systems, triggering war throughout the colonised universe. 

Year 182 N.E. -- The war was short but deadly. It obliterated a large portion of human inhabitants within the discovered universe but instilled a new order for all humans. Humans were now governed under a single entity, known as the People's Republic. The entire human population was then divided based on the star system they were born in, and the leaders of each star system reported to the People's Republic once a year. Each star system could govern itself however it wanted to, but waging war was prohibited. The punishment for waging war was the complete eradication of the star system.

Year 280 N.E. -- There were a total of 45 star systems discovered, the newest one being TS45. It was the 100th year anniversary of the great human war, but humans were more divided than ever.
