Description
One would think, someone that aced the military exam twice knew full well what they were doing. And they were kind of right and kind of wrong. You see, Byulyi— or as her peers called her, Yi had to take it once knowing full well that being a soldier is not a good job during a long time of peace. If she wanted power, it would be better to be a politician. When she aced it and went to service— climbing the ranks and earning respect to be so incorruptable, a petty vengeance takes it all back from her. Demoting her down and out of the military.
And she did it all over again, getting schooled and examed and climbed the same ranks. But she didn't fully know her fate, she wanted her country to reistablish some militant power, the peace has been too uncharacteristically long. In their negligence and her dwindling patience,
It was only certain that a storm is coming— thunderous clouds clap by the seaside as Byulyi finds herself demoted once more.
Foreword
One might wonder, third time's the charm.
Maybe Byulyi could do it all over again, but her patience and her intuition— the very war she anticipates— is imminent. So her time is short. So she didn't go back the long route. She'd experienced enough— and she's a learned fellow, she needs a real test.
One that is a trial by fire— tribulation after tribulation— but bounded on respect and acknowledgement. When she heard of the rumors— the pirate queen was settling in an outskirts by the stormy seaside, Byulyi saw an opportunity.
And if she does succeed, gets her request for a challenge— a request to prove herself worthy of being a member of her royal court— then it is only the beginning.
One does not simply chase the sun, you know.
But if she does succeed and get her due, an army and a militant power to defend her land and its people, then maybe...
Maybe the third time is the charm.
A/N: A bit delayed and not the same time as the other release because the website has been weird on my end but alas! My first moonsun (i am very nervous gosh). Please be nice, I am still getting my footing on how to write them but yeah, I hope you guys like this granted multichapter from my granting requests!
