Iseul found herself on an unusual errand, heading towards the local school. Her mom, a longtime friend of the school's principal, had entrusted her with a special task—to personally deliver the monthly donation check. It was a small gesture, but it held immense importance for both Iseul's family and the school's community.

As she made her way through the school's grounds, she marveled at the vibrant energy that filled the air. Children laughed and played, their youthful innocence radiating joy. It brought a smile to her face, and she couldn't resist taking a moment to capture some of these heartwarming scenes with her camera.

Her focus was drawn to the soccer field, where a group of kids were having a lively game. She found herself captivated by their carefree spirits and the unfiltered emotions that sparkled in their eyes. Without hesitation, she began snapping pictures, hoping to freeze these precious moments in time.

Suddenly, amidst the laughter and excitement, a little boy tripped and fell. The other kids gasped, but Iseul instinctively rushed to his side. She knelt beside him, offering a comforting hand.

"Are you okay?" Iseul asked, her voice gentle and reassuring.

The boy looked up at her, his eyes b with tears. "I-I think so."

Relieved to see he was not seriously hurt, Iseul helped him up, brushing away the dust from his clothes. As she tended to him, Iseul couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for the little boy. Though his injury wasn't severe, he looked visibly scared, yet he tried to be brave and hold back his tears. She admired his resilience and caring nature, and it only deepened her desire to ensure he was okay.

Intrigued, Iseul sought to learn more and inquired, "May I know your name?"

"I'm Minjun," he replied shyly.

Iseul smiled warmly. "Minjun, what a beautiful name. I'm Iseul. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Minjun's eyes widened, feeling an instant connection with the kind stranger. "Nice to meet you too, Noona."

As Iseul tended to Minjun's small scratch, she realized she didn't have a bandage in her bag. However, she noticed one of Minjun's friends approaching them with a first-aid kit in hand. The friend, who had been playing with Minjun and witnessed the little accident, kindly offered a bandage to Iseul.

Grateful for the gesture, Iseul thanked the friend and carefully placed the bandage on Minjun's scratch, ensuring he was comfortable throughout the process. Minjun, though slightly startled at first, felt reassured by Iseul's gentle demeanor and the friendly presence of his friends.

"There you go, all fixed up," Iseul said, her warm smile radiating kindness. "You're quite brave, you know?" Her words were like a gentle embrace, comforting Minjun as he stared back at her with big, admiring eyes.

Minjun blushed slightly, feeling a sense of pride at being praised by this friendly stranger. "Thank you, Noona. You're nice!" he replied, his voice filled with genuine gratitude.

Iseul chuckled, finding Minjun's innocence endearing. "Well, you're a brave and kind boy. And what do you say we celebrate your bravery with some ice cream?"

Minjun's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ice cream! Yes, please!"

They walked together to the school’s cafe, sharing laughter and stories along the way.

In between giggles and ice cream bites, they shared a bond that felt like they had known each other for a long time. Iseul couldn't help but admire Minjun's lively spirit and genuine curiosity about everything around him.

When it was time to part ways, Iseul ruffled Minjun's hair playfully. "You take care, little superhero. I hope we can meet again sometime."

Minjun nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, Noona! I'd really like that."

Iseul smiled, touched by the genuine affection in the young boy's voice. "Me too," she replied warmly. "But for now, Noona has some work to do." She winked at him, and Minjun giggled in response.

As Iseul waved goodbye and walked away, Minjun watched her go with a mixture of happiness and longing. He knew deep down that he had just made a wonderful new friend, and he couldn't wait for the day they would meet again.

The cafe bustled with its usual charm, and Haechan and Renjun worked together behind the counter, serving coffee with smiles on their faces. As they prepared the orders, Renjun noticed Haechan's thoughtful expression and knew exactly what was on his mind.

"Minjun's birthday is coming up, isn't it?" Renjun asked, gently placing a tray of pastries on the counter.

Haechan nodded, "Yeah, just a few days away. I want to plan something special for him, but I'm not sure what gift to get him."

Renjun leaned against the counter, crossing his arms thoughtfully. "Well, Haechan, to be honest, you yourself are the greatest gift for Minjun. He adores you more than anything in the world."

Haechan raised an eyebrow, a faint smile forming on his lips. "Really? Even when I and annoy him?"

Renjun chuckled, "Even then. I admit, there's nothing to like about you, but Minjun loves you unconditionally. To him, you're like the sun, and he's the sunflower, always looking up to you with admiration and love."

Haechan couldn't help but roll his eyes at Renjun's teasing comment, but the sunflower analogy touched him. "He's the one who brightens up my life," he admitted with a smile, his affection shining through.

Renjun nodded. "You don't need to do anything extravagant. Spending time with him and showing him how much you care is all he needs. That would make him the happiest."

Haechan looked down for a moment, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "You're right, Renjun, but you know, it also hurts me sometimes. Minjun is so considerate and never asks for toys or anything like other kids his age. He's content with whatever he has, and I feel like I should do more for him. I get angry at myself for not being able to provide everything he deserves.”

Renjun's expression softened, understanding the weight of Haechan's words. "It's not about buying him things; it's about the love and care you give him every day. Trust me, he cherishes the time you spend together more than any material gift."

Haechan let out a sigh, a mix of emotions swirling within him. "You know, sometimes I feel like he's too good for me. I don't deserve his love and affection."

Renjun gave him a gentle smile. "Don't say that, Haechan. You're an amazing brother, and you've always been there for him. Your love and care mean the world to him, even if he doesn't say it directly."

Haechan nodded, his heart swelling with love for his younger brother. "You're right, Renjun. I'll make his birthday unforgettable. I want to cherish every moment we spend together."

Renjun patted his back reassuringly. "And I'm sure you will. You've always been creative and thoughtful. Just follow your heart, and it will lead you to the perfect way to make him happy."

"But for now, you need to hurry and go pick him up from school if you don't want to see him upset," Renjun added with a playful grin. "He's probably been counting down the minutes until you arrive."

Haechan chuckled, feeling a surge of gratitude for his friend's support and teasing. "You're right. I shouldn't keep my little superhero waiting. Thanks, Renjun."

With a final smile and a nod, Haechan quickly left the cafe, his mind now filled with ideas and excitement for Minjun's birthday surprise. He knew that no matter what he planned, the most important thing was the love and joy they would share on this special day. And with that thought in his heart, he headed towards the school to pick up his beloved brother.

As Haechan arrived at the school, he spotted Minjun running towards him with a beaming smile. "Hyung!" Minjun called out, his excitement evident in his voice.

Haechan crouched down as Minjun reached him and wrapped his arms tightly around his big brother. "Hey, buddy!" Haechan hugged him back, feeling a sense of warmth and protectiveness flood through him.

So, this story was meant to be a quick oneshot, but it sort of spiraled into something much bigger! 😅 Yeah, I know it's been dragging a bit, but I'll try to wrap it up nice and tidy...
