Today was one of the busiest days of my restaurant since it's the holidays and most people are looking for a place to stuff their hungry selves with good food and I believe that me and my crew are capable of fullfilling it.
 

"Two ribeye, mash potato and asparagus for table 7! Get working, people!!" I yelled on the kitchen, looking around and supervising everything. From the customer's demands to my staff entails.

"Ma'am, may new delivery po ng red wine. Are you going to check it now, or later?" Paolin, my assistant whispered. I checked my wrist watch if there's extra time but since the kitchen is busy right now, "I'll do it later. Thanks, Pao."

"Miss Ika, phone for you!" A staff called rushing inside the strenuous kitchen. Muntik pa itong madulas dahil may natapong mantika sa floor kaya nagmadali na rin akong aluhin siya, pero mukhang mas importante pa ang telepono for her than herself. "Miss Ika, Gift daw po. Kanina pa siya tumatawag asking for a table pero hindi ko mabigyan because hindi naman siya VIP at wala siyang booked reservation. She's looking for you." Nag-mamadaling report ng staff. I smiled at her and took the phone, "Thanks Sarah. She's an old friend. Please give her a table after I talk to her, ok?"

Pumunta muna ako sa exit door ng kitchen, kung na saan may paalis na delivery truck ng mga ingredients at beverage drinks. Hindi ko na lang ito pinansin dahil may mga tao naman akong inatasan doon para asikasuhin 'yun.

I smiled when I saw the phone is still on call, "Hello?"

"Ang tagal sumagot! Shuta!" Maarte, pero mapang-asar nitong sagot sa akin kaya't natawa ako ng bahagya. "Ano ba?" I asked again, tumango pa ako sa isang driver ng truck dahil paalis ito.

"Girl, give me table for three!!"

"Three? You, Sarai and? Sure--"

"Gaga, no. Sarai's still in Luxembourg so, so I'm spending valentine's day with you." She giggled on the other line.

"Ok? So... Sino 'yung
