Description

The night they broke up, Jongwoon and Hyukjae figured that they lost each other for good.
At least... that was what they thought.

Foreword

This story is a bit different from what I usually write. It's loosely based on a true story. 

I was requested to write this back in 2020 and I did, but when I passed 20k+ words, I wondered, for a long time, if I should even finish and post this since I couldn’t decide what ending I should give. I hesitated many times.

In the end, I decided that it might be better to finally share this with you all ^^ Especially after all the YeHyuk content that we got recently! ♥︎
I'm late, (I should've posted this yesterday 🥲) but happy YeHyuk day! Enjoy~

Note[1]: I used ‘Jongwoon’ instead of ‘Kanghoon’ because ‘Jongwoon’ is what I used for this three years ago and it has grown on me and the story now 😅
Note[2]: I tried to proofread this a lot of times, but it's just too long and time-consuming 😭 So you might find some mistakes/inconsistencies here, I'm sorry 🥲🙏🏻

Chapter 1: Wow. I cried a lot because this reminded me of what I've been through with my lover as well. For the record, it's almost same scenario, the same problem we've dealt and honestly, I was Jongwoon on how I responded with the problem and she's very Hyukjae, the braver one and a soft-hearted person. We're back just two years ago, after talking it all out, and also told each other that if this last chance won't work out, then we'll let go of each other, for good. Right now, we're getting better at dealing things and also improved with our communication. Would totally go back and reread this to remind me that we've been through this and that I, we, are better now. Thank you for this! P.S. Our soung is called "Your Song" by Parokya ni Edgar and that actually tells about her giving our relationship another chance as the lyrics go "I'll take one step away. But I found myself coming back to you. My one and only you." <3
