Yongsun was at Byulyi’s apartment, which was rare. Byulyi was really clumsy, probably not as much as herself, but she definitely has more catastrophic results. Yongsun had asked Byulyi to help her to fix her living room table, which she was up to. Byulyi was good at building and restoring things, not that Yongsun was bad at it, but ever since they started dating, Byulyi always made the repairs at her place. She just accepted.

            She left the table ready for Byulyi’s repair, when it was ready, she didn’t call Yongsun’s help to flip the table back, and that ended with a whining Byulyi in the hospital that same afternoon.

            “Woman… you're 30! Don’t expect you back to be working as it used to be!”, she nagged Byulyi for hours after they left the hospital with a bag of painkillers and some exercises for her back healthy. “Also, you should go more to the gym, that wouldn’t happen.”

            “That probably would happen faster, Yong.”, she rolled her eyes. “Whatever, now I’ll be going back to the gym anyways, since I have this exercises prescriptions. More time together!”

            Yongsun remembered rolling her eyes and playfully kidding about they spending enough time already, but she was happy to hear that Byulyi would go to gym with her.

            She was currently at Byulyi’s apartment to take more clothes back to her place, since Byulyi was now sleeping there in order to have some help with the back treatment. The doctor they visited days after had a prescription of exercises and some oil for massages. Yongsun was happy to cut off Byulyi’s idea of having a personal masseuse.

            “I have a masseuse license, you don’t need a personal.”, she was fast saying.

            “Really?”, Byulyi raised an eyebrow. “How come you never said anything about this?”

            “Why would I? If I had mentioned that before, you would absolutely be asking me to massage you every time.”

            “Well, I wouldn’t.”, she got silent, which absolutely meant that she would. “But that definitely would be a thing in bed.”

            Yongsun couldn’t help but scoff and cut that conversation from the beginning. It was weird to her to think that they switched from comfortably joking about stuff to actively talk about their stuff. She was never shy about , but she also had never been that open about it. Maybe it was the fact that Byulyi was a good friend before becoming her girlfriend and they also clicked about always sharing everything.

            She was never in a relationship that seriously before, even with a man. Yongsun had little more than months long relationship with Byulyi, yet, she was totally dedicated in making that keep the same good vibe as their friendship. She was the type of person to think that being on this kind of relation was more like let it flow and not changing herself at all, which wasn’t quite like that.

            Also, she had never been with a woman on a relationship before, which made Byulyi her first. Back in college, she had short encounters with girls. She had a good time, sometimes a bad time, but that was the average even to her male partners. The difference with Byulyi was her consideration. She absolutely wanted Yongsun to have a good time and it was apparent that she had put effort on pleasing her every time.

            So, talking about was so regular that they barely flinched when something like that came out. Sometime it was quite out of the ordinary even for them.

            “Yong, doctor said we can’t use the strap-on for a while, until my back is better.”, Byulyi suddenly said to her, short minutes after she came back from her appointment about her back.

            Yongsun, who was currently reading and eating, just stopped abruptly to look at Byulyi. Her face was slowly becoming as red as a tomato when she thought about the possible ways that Byulyi took to ask her doctor about that. “The are you saying?”

            Byulyi sat along with Yongsun in the table, when she calmly explained: “Doctor was describing activities that I should avoid… but before leaving, I realized that there wasn’t mentions about… hip s.”

            Yongsun was confused about laughing at that statement or crying out of embarrassment, but she just couldn’t keep the face straight. While she laughed hysterically, Byulyi looked back at her confused and slightly red too.

            “You asked that to the doctor?”, Yongsun asked in between her laugh.

            “I did…”, Byulyi replied shyly. “The answer was ‘not recommended’. So… that’s it.”

            Byulyi was a quirky woman. Sometimes she did things out of her intrusive thoughts, one big example of her weirdness what the whole chasing the Yongsun thing. While passing around her bedroom, Yongsun found the infamous list Byulyi made as a strategy to get her.

            Yongsun couldn’t help, but laugh. She had never mentioned to Byulyi, but ever since she saw her for the first time, she thought about the possibilities. She was totally against the idea of having affairs inside the office, since it could end badly for her, but Byulyi was just a risk she was willing to take.

            She had never thought deeply about her type of people, but she wouldn’t deny that Byulyi’s appearance was a good invitation. The first day of work, Byulyi show up using a light blue plain shirt inside of a dark blue dress pants, dress shoes and high ponytail. She never wears heavy makeup and with a ice blond hair she constantly makes sure of take care, Byulyi just seemed straight from the frozen movie. She was absolutely stunning, even using those regular office clothes.

            Yongsun was more than happy to see Byulyi arriving at the office with a brand new combination of formal clothes, getting hotter each new day. Seeing her wearing a Thom Browne’s suit was absolutely the jack point.

            “Daddy bought that for you?”, Yongsun commented to Byulyi that same day, out of pure playfulness. She was already comfortable by mocking Byulyi around, which was clearly reciprocated. She will never miss the hint Byulyi gave to her that day, out of pure innocence, when she laughed sarcastically at the “Daddy” specifically.

            “Oh, yeah. I’m ‘Daddy’.”, she joked, which quite made Yongsun giggle out of a totally different reason. Right! You’re daddy. “I like to wear nice clothes. Nothing wrong to me by working to by me the best.”

            And she was perfectly right. Byulyi liked to wear fancy, she also had a good self-steam, which came out of difficult moment from her past relationships. Yongsun found herself once having Byulyi at her place more frequently as they started to talk more to each other.

            Yongsun admitted to herself that at first she wanted Byulyi to be close so they could have an , but after talking with Byulyi for more than once, she left that idea as a second thought, because she couldn’t help but treasure their moments together, enough to respect their real friendship and don’t mix things.

            The only person she was ever able to drink with was Hyejin, no one more. Now she also had Byulyi.

            Yongsun wasn’t as strong with alcohol as Byulyi was, yet, she drunk a lot, trying to keep up with Byulyi. They ended up weird laughing at anything that came to their minds. By the end of the night, they both were sitting on the floor, Byulyi laying her head on Yongsun’s shoulder as she held one of her hands. They were just tired of fooling around, seeming to try pick their sobriety back.

            “I don’t drink like this in a while… neither had laughed like today.”, Byulyi confessed at some moment.

            “Neither myself.”, Yongsun sighed. “I don’t normally go out, so…”, she shrugged.

            “I would ask you if you have someone, but this says it all.”, Byulyi said, there wasn’t any playful tone on her voice, she just made a obvious observation. Yongsun didn’t go out with other people that weren’t her friends, and nowadays, she was spending most of her free time with Byulyi.

            “I stopped thinking about relationships ever since I started to work at the office. I don’t miss it though. I have my goals to reach, and although I’m getting old, I won’t think of this until I reach everything I want.”, she said firmly.

            “You’re really a singular person, Yong.”, Byulyi said bluntly. The honesty made Yongsun shake from the inside. It always happened whenever Byulyi said something flattering about her.

            “I’m the average.”, she tried to shake that feeling off.
