Are your fan fictions really rated M?

1wkeylove's Tips to Success

Ask yourself this question:

Are your Fan Fictions really rated M?

It's just something I've noticed. There are a lot of people who think that their story is the baddest thing in the world. And because of what? A kissing scene. Or maybe because the main character says "" once or twice. Or more favorite. "We made love."

That's it? Those little things are what you call a Rated M story? Uh... i don't think so. Think about it guys, and rate your story correctly. If you're going to have a chapter dedicated to , go ahead. It's fun.

But don't get the reader confused. There are times when I see a Rated M fic and I click on it, read it, and wait for something to happen. Nothing. My excitement drops and I'm moving onto something new.

Don't make this mistake if that's what you're doing.

I caught this on the newly updated page, and I couldn't agree more. I especially hate the rated M thing. I always save the M rating for actually explicit . Most of the time, the "violence" people rate it for is things you can easily find on everyday TV.
And people who over describe things. I ing hate purple prose.
Anyway. Rantfics are always fun to read. And write. xD Might as well subscribe to another one. xD
