And as promised, I am going to write an epilogue for this story.

GI’s eyes reflected the light coming from the flames devouring the bed. She watched the very symbol of her suffering burn right before her very eyes. Sori was seen dancing around her, enjoying the sight of the huge fire.

“Oh how beautiful~” Sori twirled and swayed in happiness while Gi remained watching the burning bed without even moving from where she was. All the other alters were all around her. Just like her, they just watched the suffering be turned into ashes. 

It’s the end. All the years of suffering. The years of breaking. Gi has finally broken free from the last shackle that was holding her. 

“Finally~ The beauty of flames~” Sori continued dancing around until she disappeared when she went past Gi. The girl looked up and saw the other alters waving at her and disappearing one by one. 

“We’re just here whenever you need us.” Rowon said as he stood up. “But I know you’ll be just fine. Am I right?”

“There’s no need to worry~” 

Gi turned behind her to look at the person who placed her arm over her shoulders. It was Seul doing what she’s best at—smiling from ear to ear. 

“I’ll be here to give some sunshine when she feels down~” Seul grinned at Gi which made the latter roll her eyes. 

“It’s really over now, Rowon.” Gi gave the guy a respectful bow and Seul followed her. “Thank you for everything that you’ve done for us.”

“Hey, come on~” The guy tapped the two by the shoulders. “It’s my responsibility to take care of all of us~ Just promise to live a happy life from now on.”

Gi straightened her back and looked at the guy straight to his face. “Of course, I will be going back to Irene now. I believe that the best life could be found by staying with her.”

“My goodness, I didn’t know you were this cheesy!” Seul teased which earned a glare from Gi. “You’re down bad!”

Rowon just laughed. It felt so nice to finally see the two getting along so well. He turned to the burning bed and saw that it was already close to ashes. “It’s time to go back. Be sure to make Irene-ssi happy as well, okay?”

“You don’
