The next day Mina was a little sad, although she managed to "talk" with Momo, the cancellation of their dance had demotivated her a lot, because she would no longer be able to spend so much time with the older

Momo immediately became alarmed

 

"D-Don't cry, did I say something wrong?" Mina shook her head and took the elder's hand 

 

"Let's rehearse then, I want our dance to be the best ever" 

 

Mina smiled so big that she didn't care if her cheeks went numb

 

Momo nodded and they began to practice

 

Mina couldn't stop smiling, as she swayed with Momo's hands on her waist

They both managed to dance like never before, their expressions were genuine and Momo's eyes didn't look dull now, there was a different glow now, but Mina still couldn't read what exactly it was

 

"Very well girls, I have brought an old friend to help me in the evaluation of your dances" 

 

They all looked at her confused... old friend?

 

"Come in" 

 

The door opened and a slightly older man entered the room

 

"PD-nim!" The girls immediately ran to greet him 

 

"Hello girls" JYP smiled and looked at the girls 

 

"But look how you have grown, you almost reached me" 

 

Nayeon sighed in disgust, for being the oldest of the group, she was not amused at all

 

"Girls, there would be time to catch up, but for now, we need to do the evaluation to correct the points that are necessary" 

 

They all nodded to their leader and organized themselves to present their dances

 

"Very well, who will go first?" 

 

Nayeon raised her hand and pulled Chaeyoung. 

 

"We'll go first" 

 

"Excellent, go ahead then"

The evaluation went quite well for all, although there were some things to improve

 

Only the MiMo couple was missing, the girls had not stopped practicing since the evaluations began, trying to take advantage of the time to perfect their dance

The girls walked to the center and made a small bow 

 

"We are going to present Still Loving You in a slightly slower version than the original, I hope you enjoy it" 

 

JYP was a little surprised by the choice and couldn't help but ask 

 

"That song tells a bit of a sad story, can I ask why you chose it?" 

 

Momo turned to see Mina and their eyes met 

 

"I think... we are trying to find the outcome of that story" Momo smiled and looked away

 

Mina couldn't help but feel a little hope at those words

 

JYP was a little confused, but he let it go, Jihyo for her part, smiled broadly at the words of the Japanese... maybe things can get better

 

"Then go ahead girls, the stage is yours"

"Wow girls, your dance is spectacular, Momo, I really felt the courage and anger of a betrayal, as if you had really been hurt, the passion in your dance was impressive, and well, what to say about Mina, your gestures, your movements and your whole body begging for forgiveness and a second chance, just like the lyrics of the song, I'm really impressed" 

 

Silence filled the room and JYP wasn't sure what was happening

 

"Um, did I said something weird?" Momo came out of her initial shock and nodded 

 

"No, I'm sorry, thank you very much for your words PD-nim" 

 

"It was nothing Momo, I think you just need to continue rehearsing and you will be able to adjust the times perfectly" 

 

"Thank you very much PD-nim, we'll do it" JYP nodded and checked his watch

 

"Well girls, I really loved seeing you again, you've all done a great job and I can't wait to see you at your performances" All the girls bowed and said goodbye to their ex-boss 

 

Momo took the things from her and said goodbye too, she still had a lot of things to think about

 

Mina didn't try to stop her, maybe giving her some space was the best thing for both of them

Mina took advantage of every rehearsal and every practice to be as close as possible to Momo, she sometimes tried to hug her or steal a kiss on the cheek to greet her or say goodbye, any gesture was worth it if she could be close to Momo

 

The oldest realized everything, but she needed to find answers, her heart told her to trust and give the youngest a second chance, but her head reminded her of everything she suffered, all the sleepless nights and crying, the times that she even thought of committing suicide but was never that brave, the pain she came to feel was incomparable and she still couldn't forgive, much less risk being hurt again

 

Momo knew that Mina was trying to convey her feelings, she could see it in her eyes, every hug, every little kiss and every time their hands came together or their bodies swayed together, Momo could see it, the pleading look, the nervous smile and her slightly sweaty hands denoted Mina's intentions, but she still couldn't give an answer, she really couldn't

 

"Momo, I'm really serious with you, you know that... right?" 

 

Their bodies were close but not together, Mina looked directly into Momo's eyes and the older one didn't look away from her

 

"I know, but you know I can't give you an answer yet, it's not that easy" Mina looked down and Momo swayed them

 

"But I have to admit I've been thinking about it" 

 

Mina was immediately fired up, her smile beaming brightly and Momo felt her heart skip a beat

 

Mina didn't say anything and they continued with their rehearsals

The girls were very excited about the event, although it was a small place, the cameras and all the fans caused them a thousand emotions in a fraction of a second

 

Momo was the only one who wasn't affected at all, she even seemed lost in her thoughts

 

"A kiss for your thoughts?" Momo came out of her trance and Nayeon looked at her amused 

 

"Are you sure?, Jeongyeon could kill us both" Nayeon let out a laugh and punched her on the shoulder 

 

"Ouch, remind me not to make you laugh, you have some boxer complex" 

 

Nayeon sat down next to her and they looked through a grid of the curtains at all the Once's who were waiting for their return

 

"You don't seem nervous" Momo smiled and sighed 

 

"I'm used to helping some new talents get on stage now" 

 

"Wow, that sounded y" Momo rolled her eyes 

 

"Everything is y to you" Nayeon smiled and turned to look at the Japanese 

 

"But you know what would be even ier?" Momo looked at her and raised an eyebrow 

 

"What?" 

 

"You and Mina devouring each other after everything that happened" Momo hit her and pushed her 

 

"Stop teasing, I know Jeongyeon makes you bite the pillow" Nayeon blushed and immediately stood up 

 

"Who the hell told you that!?" Momo smiled and shrugged 

 

"No one, I just figured it out and from your reaction, I'm right" Nayeon covered her face and took a deep breath

 

"Okay, you win" Nayeon stood up 

 

"Still, what I said is serious, I wish you guys could work things out and at least be friends again, we miss you both" Momo nodded but didn't look at her 

 

"I wish you find an answer soon, time keeps moving forward Mo" 

 

Nayeon walked away and went with her girlfriend to get the last details ready 

 

Momo took a little jar out of her pocket and looked at it carefully

 

"I hope you will be not necessary friend" Momo put the little jar back on her pocket and stood up 

 

"Show time"

The event began and the couple dances would open the show

 

First, Nayeon and Chaeyoung danced to the beat of Enchanted, while the audience went wild

 

Dahyun and Jeongyeon surprised the audience by dancing to the slow beat of Stand By Me, ending with an emotional hug, Dahyun was so moved that she couldn't help but tear up 

 

Sana and Tzuyu did a simple but beautiful choreography, while Only love can hurt like this sounded, accompanied by an emotional atmosphere that made the Once's present go crazy

 

Momo took a deep breath and Mina took her hand

 

"Nervous?" 

 

"Really yes, but not because of the dance" 

 

Mina raised an eyebrow and was about to ask, but they were called to the stage

Jihyo knew this could happen, so she went ahead and prepared an apartment for the nine of them, with a generous amount of alcohol and snacks, so no one would have to stay out late or make excuses to leave

 

The night progressed quickly, between dances, alcohol and the girls enjoying themselves freely, everything was chaos, even Mina had drunk a little

 

Momo just sat down and sipped from her cup little by little, enjoying watching the chaos of her friends 

 

"Sana, if you and Dahyun can't keep your hands off each other, you can go up to a room and respect my singleness" Jihyo scolded the two girls who were kissing each other

 

Sana smiled and took Dahyun by the hand and they went upstairs

 

Momo watched Mina the whole time and finally made a decision

 

Momo stood up and grabbed a bottle of juice and a couple of glasses, she didn't want any alcohol at the moment

 

"Mina, could you come with me? We need to talk" Nayeon who was more than drunk howled with joy

 

"You're in a hurry, Tiger!" 

 

Jeongyeon held her to prevent her from getting hurt and Jihyo laughed at the older girl's joke

 

Chaeyoung and Tzuyu were curled up on the couch, just relaxing and enjoying each other's company

 

Mina nodded and they both went upstairs, away from Sana and Dahyun's room for their own good 

 

Momo closed the door and Mina couldn't help but think about all the possibilities of what was going to happen, she was nervous, but also excited

 

Momo sat on the bed and Mina remained standing, not knowing exactly what to do

 

"Mina, you say you love me, but when I confessed, you said nothing and left the country" 

 

Mina approached Momo and sat next to her, took one of her hands and looked into her eyes 

 

"I told you, I was afraid and now I understand that I made a serious mistake" 

 

"Then why didn't you tell me anything? We could have talked and none of this would have happened" 

 

Mina bowed her head, her fear and her doubts did not allow her to think clearly at that moment

 

"I know and now I'm sorry, I didn't trust you enough... but now I'm here, I want to make up for all the damage I did to you, I want to fix all my mistakes and make you happy" 

 

Momo let go of Mina's hand and stood up, poured two glasses of juice and took the little jar out of her pocket, poured the contents into one of the glasses and went back to bed

 

"Are you sure you love me Mina?" Mina looked at her confused 

 

"Of course I am Momo, I always have been" Momo handed Mina a glass and took a sip

 

Mina imitated her and felt a strange taste but maybe it had a little alcohol

 

Momo took both glasses and placed them on a small table

 

Momo approached and extended a hand towards the minor

 

"Let's dance" 

 

Mina was a bit confused, but she took Momo's hand

 

Immediately their bodies came together and Momo placed her hands on Mina's waist, the younger one placed her hands on the shoulders of the older and they began to slowly sway around the room

 

"I don't want you to try to make up for what you've done to me in the past, I want you to really love me" 

 

Mina looked confused into her eyes, but Momo had a sad look

 

"If you really love me by then, you can forgive me" Momo leaned and kissed her cheek

 

Mina's vision began to blur and her body began to feel weak

 

"M-Momo, what's going on?" 

 

Mina was very confused, she didn't know what she should feel and her body wasn't helping her

 

Mina began to feel her eyes closing and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't help but fall asleep

 

Momo held her and carried her to the bed, with some effort she changed her clothes to much more comfortable ones for sleeping

 

Momo leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead

 

"I'm sorry" 

 

Momo waited until everyone was asleep and left the apartment
